In the first match of the day, Afghanistan team is playing against its Group D rival South Africa at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Afghanistan captain Rashid Khan has decided to bowl against South Africa after winning the toss. Due to the strong bowling of Rashid Khan and Azmatullah Omarzai, Afghanistan restricted South Africa to 187 runs for 6 wickets.
