Two more merchant ships carrying petroleum products for India are passing through the Strait of Hormuz. Amidst the increasing regional tension, Indian Navy warships are deployed on standby to provide security. According to sources, more such ships will pass through this route in the coming times. The Strait of Hormuz remains strategically very sensitive due to the ongoing tensions in West Asia. This is one of the most important oil routes in the world, where constant vigilance is being maintained regarding security.
Let us tell you that there is continuous tension in this strait between America and Israel-Iran conflict. Iran is not allowing the ships of any of its enemy countries including America and Israel to pass through there. Indian ships are not being stopped. Indian ships have already left Hormuz during war situations. Despite this, the Indian Navy has been kept on alert with warships to provide security.
Hormuz was disrupted due to West Asia crisis
These ships were among the 22 Indian ships that were stranded in the Strait of Hormuz due to the war in West Asia. Due to the war, Iran has partially blocked the Strait of Hormuz, due to which the supply of oil and gas across the world has been affected.

India ensured the movement of its ships through diplomatic power.
Before this, four Indian ships have arrived in India in the past. Jag Vasant, Pine Gas, Shivalik and Nanda Devi had also reached India with about 92 thousand metric tons of LPG. There is a huge demand for LPG gas in India for domestic and commercial use.
This is the reason why there was a LPG crisis in India after the Strait of Hormuz was blocked, but the government negotiated with Iran at the diplomatic level and ensured safe passage of Indian ships through Hormuz. Iran has also issued a statement making it clear that Indian ships are not being stopped.
