Nazara Technologies UK Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Nazara Technologies Ltd, has signed definitive agreements to acquire a 50 per cent controlling stake in Bluetile Games SL (formerly known as Playvalve SL) and BestPlay Systems SL for a consideration of $100.3 million (₹918 crore). Bluetile operates a diversified portfolio of globally popular casual, social mobile games including titles such as Yatzy, Domino Legends, Mahjong Voyage and Spade Stars. The platform has achieved global scale with nearly 375 million downloads and 22 million monthly active users across 17 live games.
Manappuram Finance Ltd has announced that its subsidiaries, namely Asirvad Micro Finance Limited and Manappuram Home Finance Limited, have received the requisite approvals from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) for indirect change in control and management of the respective companies pursuant to the acquisition of control and shareholding in the company by affiliates of Bain Capital, namely BC Asia Investments XXV Limited and BC Asia Investments XIV Limited (“Bain Capital”). With this, the company and its subsidiaries are now in receipt of all requisite statutory approvals for Bain Capital’s proposed investment of approximately ₹4,385 crore in the company and acquisition of joint control with the existing promoters.
United Breweries Ltd has received Environmental Clearance (EC) under the EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment) Notification, 2006 from the State Environment Impact Assessment Authority (SEIAA) (Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change), Uttar Pradesh, Government of India, for the proposed Greenfield Brewery with a capacity of 1.3 million hectolitres per annum at the Brewery Project located at Unnao, subject to conditions.
Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited (MDL) has entered into a contract with Shipping Corporation of India Ltd (SCI) for the construction and sale of one 3000 DWT Methane Dual Fuel Platform Supply Vessel (PSV).
