A fire broke out in an auto parts manufacturing factory in South Korea on Friday, injuring at least 50 people. The incident occurred in Daejeon city of South Korea. Officials gave this information on Friday. According to South Korea’s National Fire Agency, 35 of the injured are in critical condition. In the video released from the spot, thick black smoke was seen rising from the factory premises.

The reason for the fire is not yet clear

It is not yet clear how many workers are trapped inside the factory. The fire department has expressed apprehension that the number of casualties may increase. The fire was reported in the afternoon. At present the cause of the fire has not been known. More than 200 firefighters and 70 vehicles have been deployed to control the fire. At the same time, Prime Minister Kim Min-seok is monitoring the situation and has given instructions for full deployment of all resources and personnel to control the fire and for relief and rescue operations.
