Sourav Ganguly became the CAB president again after six years, increasing the capacity of Eden Gardens and hosting T20 World Cup matches.

Kolkata: Former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly made a comeback as the President of the Bengal Cricket Association (CAB) at an interval of six years. Ganguly was elected unopposed at the CAB’s 94th annual general meeting here on Monday. He has previously worked as CAB President from 2015 to 2019.
As soon as the president became the president, Sourav Ganguly on Monday included the capacity of Eden Gardens to close to one lakh and included hosting important matches of next year’s T20 World Cup in his top priorities.
