Enforcement Directorate (ED) illegal betting app Money laundering case related to 1x BET The investigation has been intensified. In this case, now the big personalities of cricket and Bollywood are on the radar of the investigating agency. Cricketer in this case Suresh Raina And Shikhar Dhawan has already been questioned and now the ED has sent summons to two legendary cricketers Yuvraj Singh and Robin Uthappa, besides actor Sonu Sood for questioning.

According to sources, the names of these three came to the ED during the investigation, after which the agency has called them for questioning at the Delhi headquarters. Robin Uthappa has been summoned on 22 September, Yuvraj Singh on 23 September and Sonu Sood to appear at ED headquarters on 24 September. The investigating agency wants to know if these celebrities had got any financial benefit from the illegal betting app, whether they have been in some way in the promotion of this platform or indirect contact, and whether the accused had reached them.

Before this, ED in this case Shikhar Dhawan And Suresh Raina was questioned, who is a big name in the cricket world. Shikhar Dhawan was called for questioning in early September, where he was questioned about his social media posts and suspicious transactions. Similarly, Suresh Raina recorded a statement in front of the ED in August, in which some of his sponsor deal was investigated.

1x BET is an international online betting company accused of making large scale illegal betting in India and money laundering through hawala channels. The ED claims that this illegal betting app defrauded millions of people in India and deposited a large amount of black money. These activities have been banned under the Online Gaming Act, 2025, and ED is taking strict action to break this network.

The ED suspects that this company sent money to many cricketers and film personalities in the name of advertising and brand promotion. The ED believes that 1x BET caused a tax deficit of around Rs 27,000 crore in India and the involvement of celebrities in its advertisements made it bigger. The investigating agency has some evidence and inputs, which these celebrities are being questioned to investigate.
