Former all -rounder Shahid Afridi has also accused the umpires of bias, joining the list. Especially Fakhar Zaman has objected to being given out. Afridi, while talking about Pakistan’s defeat on Sama TV, made dirty allegations against the umpires. He said that all the umpires give decisions against other teams due to India’s popular Indian Premier League. Afridi said, “They have to umpire in IPL too.”

Another former Pakistani cricketer Mohammad Yusuf agreed with Afridi. He said, “He did not see the replays from a separate Anger. Fakhar had hit three fours and was easily facing Bumrah in the first over. His wicket was important for India.”

Umpire can make mistakes

Pakistan captain Salman said that he felt that the ball had hit the ground before going to the wicketkeeper’s gloves. Salman said in the post -match press conference, “Umpire can make mistakes. But I felt that this ball had jumped in front of the wicketkeeper. I could be wrong. The way (Fakhar) was batting, if he had batted in power play, we might have scored 190 runs.”
