Former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi has strongly reprimanded the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). He has expressed his displeasure over the appointment of his son-in-law Shaheen Shah Afridi as the new ODI captain of Pakistan team.

Shahid Afridi also keeps giving statements regarding his son-in-law. It was only after the defeat against India in the World Cup that he demanded Shaheen’s removal from the team. He said that if a player does not do well then he should be removed from the playing eleven and a younger player should be given a chance.
