A man from Russia spent about 16 years with a giant tumor present around his neck, which was recently removed by doctors after successful surgery. The 65 -year -old man is a resident of Kirov, Russia, Russia. The tumor in his neck had become so big that his size was equal to his head.

Doctors found that the tumor was actually a lipoma. Lipoma is a lump of fat (fat), which is usually formed between the skin and muscle layer. It is usually soft and small, whose size is up to 1-2 inches. However, in some cases it can increase in size and prove to be dangerous. According to Mayo Clinic, when lipoma increases, no home remedy or ointment is effective. The only solution of this is- surgical removal (removal by surgery). The case of this Russian person was more serious because the tumor was very close to the important veins and blood vessels present in the throat. This area is called Cervical Plexus, which is connected to the spinal cord. In such a situation, even a slight lapse could kill the patient.
Difficult and delicate surgery
This surgery was very challenging for doctors. He first estimated where the patient’s real neck position would be after removing the tumor. During the operation, the patient was lying on his side as it was not safe to lie on his back. The entire surgery was performed in a very critical manner, in which even a minor mistake could prove to be dangerous. After the surgery, the doctors breathed a sigh of relief and the patient also got a new life. The doctors clearly said that timely treatment is very important in such cases. If patients continue to trust home remedies for a long time, then the situation can also be fatal.
