The excitement for Patna University Students Union elections has intensified. As nominations ended on 18th February, publicity has started in full swing in all the colleges. When all the candidates were seen giving their slips to the students at the gate of Patna Women’s College, RJD’s presidential candidate Santu while talking to ABP News said that even though our party lagged behind in the assembly, we will ensure victory in the student union elections.
Santu said, “We have already been doing many types of work for the benefit of the students in the university. The students know my work very well. Keeping this in mind, the party has given us the ticket. There are about 4000 voters in Patna Women’s College, hence everyone’s eyes are fixed on this college and we also come here every day to campaign.
‘Tejashwi Yadav’s magic will work among students’
He further said that the people of Bihar know the work done by our leader Tejashwi Yadav in 17 months but the people of the opposition won the elections in other ways but this is not going to happen in the student union elections. The magic of Tejashwi Yadav will work among the students. Every student is following the path of Tejashwi Yadav and this time the post of president will go to RJD.
We will live up to the trust of students- Santu
Santu said, “Considering our work, our leader has given us the ticket and we will live up to this trust.” We are getting support in all the colleges. The problem is less in Patna Women’s College but the condition of other colleges is worse, we will work to improve it.
‘Avoid those who seek votes by feeding momo-burgers’
Meanwhile, Sandhya Kumari, a student of Patna Women’s College, said, “I myself nominated for the post of counselor but for the big posts of President, Vice President, General Secretary, Secretary and Treasurer, a candidate is needed who will not take votes by feeding momo-burgers.” We will vote for people whose cause is good, who solve the problems of girls, who raise voice for girls and who rise above caste and ask for votes, and I want such a candidate.
At the same time, Aditya Raj, the independent candidate for the post of Vice President, said that the support is for all those candidates who live on campus and work for the welfare of the students. The one who will fight for the students by staying in the campus should be voted for. There is no party banner, girl students should avoid those who bring tickets from big parties and take votes by feeding them chow mein and momos.
