New Delhi: The players of the ICC T20 World Cup 2026 champion Indian team have returned to their homes. The title match of the tournament was played with New Zealand at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. India defeated New Zealand by 96 runs in the final. Rinku Singh was also a member of this world winning team. Although his performance in the tournament was not very impressive, he was still very excited to be a part of the champion team.

This enthusiasm of Rinku Singh was seen when he forgot his fiancee Priya Saroj after seeing his friends at the airport. Actually, when Rinku returned from Ahmedabad, his friends came to receive him. Priya Saroj was also with Rinku. When Rinku and Priya came out of the airport, their friends were standing in front. Rinku was so happy to see his friends that he left Priya Saroj behind and went ahead to meet his friends.

Rinku wrote an emotional message for her father

After the T20 World Cup, Rinku Singh also shared an emotional message on social media for his late father Khanchand Singh. Rinku Singh’s father passed away due to prolonged illness on 27th February during the tournament itself. After playing the match against Zimbabwe, Rinku attended his father’s funeral and then immediately returned to Kolkata to join the team.

Rinku wrote for her father on Instagram, “Living without talking to you even for a day feels incomplete and I don’t understand how life will progress without you. You taught me that duty comes first, so I was fulfilling your dream on the field. Now that the dream has come true, I wish you were here with me.”
