Look and design
Bingo 10 smartphone your series smartphone Infocus bingo 21 ,Review) And Infocus bingo 50 ,Review) The lowest in. Talking about the texture, this phone made of plastic feels ruined and texture rear cover improves its grip. On the banks of our review unit, Sayan and rear cover were black but this phone of Infocus is also available in Lime Green Border and White Rear Color.
Fingerprints and spots easily come on the screen due to lack of oliaophobic coating. Because of this, it becomes a little difficult to keep the phone clean. (480×854) Pixel resolution is the WVGS screen with a Dansity 217 PPI. The display for multimedia activity is not very good. The viewing angle is also not good. On screen buttons are given for navigation. Due to which a lot of space is left at the bottom of the phone. Notification LED is not given in the phone but LED flash is present with the camera.
Both volume and power buttons are given both on the right and work well. The phone has a headphone jack and micro-melody at the bottom. There are 5 megapixel rear camera with flash in the upper corner on the rear while speakers are present at the bottom.
The design of Bingo 10 is not much better but can be said to be right according to the price. The phone is not very thin and its thickness is 10.4 mm. On buying Bingo 10, you will get a charger, a data cable and a leaflet. The quality of accessory coming with Bingo 10 is good compared to the accessory given by the rest of the Indian phone manufacturers.
Specification and software
The rear cover of the phone is removable. The 2000 mAh battery can be removed. The phone has a micro-SIM tray, a regular SIM tray and a microSD card. Bingo 10 is a tri-band fone that comes with 3G data support. The smartphone has a quad-core MediaTek MT 6580A processor and 1 GB RAM. But in terms of performance, you should not expect much from this phone. We got very useless figures from the phone in the benchmark test.
The phone supports Bluetooth 4, Wi-Fi B/G/N, GPS and FM radio. USB-OTG did not work while using us. The phone has 8 GB storage in which you can use only 4.03 GB. Infocus’s Inlif UI 2.0 Skin has been given over Android Marshmallow. Due to which some kamke twitk such as motion gestures (to reject quick calls or to go to another song) are available in the phone. Talking about the app, from the theme store you get ‘power detective’ for battery monitoring, ‘mobile assistants’ for cleaning the file system, from which you can create people’s virtual bubbled ’emoji’ with pictures. Apart from this, Infocus Bingo 10 supports Marshmallow’s ‘Doz Feature’ and ‘Now on Tap’.
Performance
Where the mixed features of Marshmallow and Infocus look good but the actual performance of the phone is not as expected. The real reason for this is display and low RAM. On average, there is only 320 MB RAM for the use of the user which is not enough. It takes time to launch the app and the problem is clearly visible while switching to the app. The touch of the display is also not good and sometimes it has to be very upset.
It is a matter of relief that the call quality of the phone is good and we did not have to see any problem in it. The speaker is very loud for conference calls but it cannot be said better for multimedia playback. Bingo 10 1080 pixels video files easily plays high-vibrate videos. Audio quality is better through headphones and Bingo 10 also comes with equipment preset.
Bingo 10 has a 5 -megapixel rear camera but it is not an autofocus, so do not expect too much. The quality of both landscape and macro is less than the average in daylight. The camera app has shooting modes like burst, HDR and panorama, but due to lack of autofocus, these mode also does not benefit. Vedio recording is accompanied by electronic stabilization and a maximum of 1080 pixels resolution video can be recorded. But the video quality is also less than average. The front camera brings a good selfie.
battery life
An important feature of this smartphone of Battery Life Infocus can be called. In our video loop test, the Bingo 10 battery supported us for 8 hours 43 minutes. At the same time, during normal use, we were able to run the phone for more than a day. The phone comes with a standard 5 watt power adapter, so charging takes time.
Our decision
Bingo 10 has been introduced by the company as ‘Marshmallow’s most affordable smartphone’. But Infocus has to cut many things to give this experience. The texture and battery life of Bingo 10 is better, but apart from this nothing is very special in the phone.
Android Anubav is also not very good in this phone that comes with Marshmallow at this price as the company has reached a compromise in terms of hardware. Which means that you will understand better to buy Android Lollipop smartphone by paying a little higher price. Apart from this, not coming with 4G support is also a big drawback because today most of the smartphones have come on LTE.
Overall, Infocus Bingo 10 disappoints and despite having a low price, we will advise not to buy the phone.
