Today we will review the top-end Deluxe smartphone. This phone has 256 GB storage and Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor. Zenfone Deluxe collision with a price of Rs 62,999 Google Pixel And Samsung Galaxy S7 Is from the series. Is Zenfone 3 Deluxe a package that will live up to our expectations? Let’s know.
Design and texture of Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe (ZS 570 KL)
Asus attracts many things when looking at Zenfone 3 Deluxe for the first time, but our attention is not seen by an antenna design that appears in it. This is an achievement in terms of a unibody metal smartphone. Because other expensive flagships such as iPhone 7 and pixels are clearly visible on the antenna band rear. It seems that Asus has discovered the way to hide an antenna band without compromising the signal quality in the smartphone. You can still see the radio-friendly material given in the phone’s Chamford Bezel but they look very rare.
Due to the curved edge of the phone and a little curved rear, it becomes easier to use the phone with one hand. The phone looks very light and due to the matte finish, there are fingers on the rear. The ‘Spon Metal’ design of Asus at the front and down on the next part is given.
Asus has given a 5.7 inch Super AMOLED display in this phone which has been given full HD resolution display. The screen of the screen is 386 pipi. But we feel that the quad HD display would have been better for this capacity phone. However, we liked the thin bezel of the phone very much and this is a bit wounded by Google Pixel XL. The colors are well saturated and the brightness level of the screen is also very good. You have many options to change the color and you can also set the color temperature by going to the setting app.
This phone has a USB Type-C port and a speaker grill at the bottom. While the top is given a 3.5mm headphone jack at the top. The Zenfone 3 Deluxe has a hybrid SIM slot with 4G support. The camera on the rear is slightly embossed outwards and a square fingerprint sensor cut-out. Talk about the fingerprint sensor, this sensor works very well, but if you have not applied the finger properly then it does not work due to the peculiar shape.
The Zenfone 3 Deluxe comes with a Quick Charge 3.0 capacity power adapter, type-C cable, zenier S headset, SIM Ejector Tool and Warranty Card. The phone has a packing premium and the quality of the coming accessory is also very good. Overall, Deluxe is a stylish phone that is very well made. The special thing is that the phone of this size is so light. We complain only with the size of the fingerprint of the phone.
Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe (Z5S570 kL) specification and feature
Asus has given 256 GB storage in the ZS 570 KL variant. It has Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor and 6 GB RAM. At the same time, ZS 570 KL with 64 GB variants has an old Snapdragon 820 chipset. But all other specifications in both variants are the same. The second connectivity feature includes features such as Wi-Fi AC, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC, USB OTG and FM Radio. Right now, VoLTE support is not available, so you will not be able to make voice calls from Jio Network. However, Asus says that the problem will end in the update to the update.
The benchmarking test gave good data from the phone, although OnePlus 3T was much better in almost every test.
Talk about software, this phone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow on which ZenuI 3.0 skin is given. Zenfone 3 Ultra in Software and Zenfone 3 Max ,Review) As soon as changes have been made. As we have said every time, the ZenuI does not seem to be very consistent and for the first time people using Asus phones may have some trouble. Although the UI can be customized but we find it of careless. The phone already contains apps such as Puffin, TruColor, Amazon Kindle, Simsity and Need for Speed: No Limits. This phone contains many Asus apps like Photocolaz, Minimuvi, Zensorkal etc. which cannot be installed by phone.
The Settings app contains some additional features such as optify, which can increase the launch performance up to 10 apps. However, we did not see any special difference with enabling this feature. You can set touch and motion gestures from zenmosotion. Apart from this, you can also set a quick togle for one handed mode by double testing the home button. The ‘Always on Display’ features in the deluxe to lock analog or digital clock like a screensever. You can see information about missed calls, messages, battery status and date from the panel. However, it is not like the allways-on panel of Samsung Galaxy S7.
Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe (ZS 570 KL) Performance
Like other high end variants with Snapdragon 821 processor, experience is also here. According to everyday work, the performance of the phone is very good. We did not like the Stock ZenuI keyboard due to the delay in typing. When the camera is used for a long time, the phone gets hot but not to the extent that the phone cannot be used.
Zenfone 3 deluxe gives a good experience of all types of multimedia. All full HD and 4 K video files are played without any hassle. Great display gives a fun experience of watching movies. The audio quality is especially quite good. The phone has only one speaker, but the voice from it is much better than your average smartphone. Audio settings can be replaced by Asus’ audiovizard app.
Dillax also supports high-resolution audio through smartphone, headphones and the coming Zenaire S headset gives a very good audio quality.
The Zenfone 3 Deluxe has a 23-megapixel rear sensor that comes with four-Xis OIS and electronic stabilization. Apart from this, laser autofocus has also been given to lock the subject fast. The camera works well in daylight as well as low light and we did not have any kind of trouble. Autofocus means that the device changes the focus between the subject if you change the frame. The quality of pictures is very good in daylight and due to this both landscape and macro shot come with quite detailing. At the time of our use, the ‘Auto HDR’ feature did not work very well and we had to manually go manually in HDR mode.
Many shooting modes have been given in the camera app. These include super resolution, manual and panorama. Photography is very good in low light and the detailing is good and noise is also controlled. However, this quality is not like Pixel XL and Galaxy S7 but it is very close. The front camera brings quite good and detail selfies in indoor lighting. Video recording can be done at 30 frames per second. But you will also get an option of 1080 pixels 60 frames per second and slow-motion. The quality of the recorded video is quite good and the frame is also stable.
This phone has a 3400 mAh battery which lasts for one and a half days during normal use. In our HD video loop test in ‘Normal’ mode, the phone battery lasted for 12 hours and 33 minutes. The battery lasted for 8 hours and 13 minutes after switching to ‘performance’ mode. In this mode, we did not see much improvement in the app and neither was revealed in the benchmark. The phone supports Quick Charge 3.0 and we are able to charge the battery up to 65 percent within 30 minutes.
Our decision
The Special Edition of Zenfone 3 Deluxe is priced at Rs 62,999 and can be considered a good flagship in terms of price. Apart from this, this is the only smartphone coming with so much storage (expandable support). Streaming service like Netflixel and Amazon Prime Video comes with offline viewing support.
Zenfone 3 Deluxe is a very good flagship smartphone. We feel that Asus could improve the customization of Android. In addition, the design of the fingerprint could be further improved. We feel that a quad-HD display could have been a better option in such a high price phone.
If you are looking for a good camera phone, then we will suggest you to take the better Google Pixel or Samsung Galaxy S7 series than this phone of Asus. But if you are looking for an all -rounder phone without spending too much money, then OnePlus 3T is for you.
