Taliban soldiers are now present at 2 outposts near Nangarhar border, 3 outposts near Goshta border and 2 outposts on Kunar border. Afghan army is running operations 201 Khalid bin Walid Brigade and 205 Al Badr Brigade against Pakistan.
Pakistan did airstrike on Afghanistan
Pakistan had carried out an airstrike on Afghanistan on 22 February. Pak Army fighter jets targeted several targets in Khogyani and Ghani Khel districts of Nangarhar province and Bermal and Argun districts of Patika province, claiming the death of 16 civilians from the same family. The Taliban had expressed strong objection to this action of Pakistan and had warned of giving a necessary and strong response when the time came.
