
Punjab Crime News: A heart-wrenching incident has come to light in Indira Colony located on Jhabal Road in Amritsar, Punjab. 65 year old Kamlesh Rani was murdered by his daughter-in-law Minty Sharma. According to the police, Minty called her boyfriend Dalveer Singh alias Laddi to fix the air conditioner and then went to Kamlesh Rani’s room and killed her by suffocating her with a pillow.
The surprising thing is that after this murder, Minty Sharma herself called the police and lodged a complaint of theft and murder. In the initial investigation, the police asked more questions about the incident, and Minty got confused on several points. After this the daughter-in-law and her boyfriend were arrested and sent to jail. Both of them confessed that their mother-in-law was becoming a hindrance in their illicit relationship, so they took the opportunity and removed her from the way.
The daughter-in-law herself had filed a complaint of murder.
According to Amritsar Police Commissioner Gurpreet Singh Bhullar, this case is related to the murder of 65 year old Kamlesh Rani. This complaint was lodged by his daughter-in-law Minty Sharma. Minty told the police that on March 9, only she and her mother-in-law were present in the house. Meanwhile, some unknown persons entered the house and after committing theft, strangled Kamlesh Rani to death.
Investigation revealed illicit relations of daughter-in-law
During investigation, police revealed that there was an illicit relationship between Minty Sharma and her lover Dalveer Singh alias Laddi. This relationship was against the deceased Kamlesh Rani, due to which there were often fights in the family.
Investigation also revealed that Minty and Dalveer had together planned to kill their mother-in-law. Police said that both of them committed the murder after seeing the opportunity. This sensational incident has created a stir in the area and the police is investigating the matter thoroughly. The police immediately arrested both the accused and produced them in the court. The court sent him to jail.
