Punjab: A woman who had gone to collect cow dung was beaten to death by the sarpanch’s son, her husband was working a short distance away.

Patiala News: Big news is coming out from Patiala district of Punjab, which has spread panic among the people. 58 year old Baljeet Kaur, resident of Rongla village near Patiala, died under suspicious circumstances. The family has accused the village sarpanch’s son of beating Baljeet Kaur to death.

According to Baljeet Kaur’s daughter, her mother had gone to the nearby fields to collect cow dung. During this time, the son of the village sarpanch along with his associates came in a car and beat his mother with sharp weapons, due to which she died.

Children devastated by mother’s death

Let us tell you that the woman’s husband was also working at some distance. By the time he reached, the sarpanch’s son had gone from there and the woman was lying injured and soaked in blood. After the death of their mother, the children are in distress and have demanded strict action against the accused.

Police is not listening – family

The daughter told that when her mother Baljeet Kaur was brought to the government Rajindra Hospital for treatment, she died there. In this case, Inspector Sukhwinder Singh, SHO of Tripuri police station, assured the family that legal action would be taken in this case, but on the other hand, the family expressed apprehension that the police was not listening to them. Even before this, he was being harassed at the behest of the Sarpanch. This incident has shaken everyone.
