Protests Against Killing Of Khamenei: Strict Curbs In Place In Kashmir Valley

Tension continued in the Kashmir Valley for the sixth consecutive day in protest against the assassination of Iran’s supreme leader Khamenei, due to which the administration has imposed strict restrictions. In view of possible demonstrations, deployment of security forces has been increased, educational institutions have been closed and internet speed has also been reduced.

Strict restrictions were imposed on the movement of people in Kashmir Valley on Friday. The administration fears that protests may take place after Friday prayers against the assassination of Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
