Manu Bhakar shared memories

Manu Bhaker, the first Indian shooter to win two medals at the 2024 Olympics, shared his experiences of meeting Prime Minister Modi. He said, ‘My first meeting with Modi ji was after the 2018 Commonwealth Games, when I came to win the gold medal at just 16 years of age. At that time he praised me a lot. After that we continued to meet in many events, and they always inspired me to do better in future. Whenever we meet in an event, their attitude is always positive. Even in the pre-coordin times of the Tokyo Olympics, he took time for all his players. And when I came back, even though my performance was not as good, he talked to me on the phone and came to know the whole situation. He asked everything and advised me to keep moving forward.
