Patna Police arrived on Friday night (February 06, 2026) to arrest MP Pappu Yadav in an old case. However, Pappu Yadav refused to go saying that he could not go at night. Is against the law. After this Pappu Yadav said that the paper that the police has brought is not a warrant of arrest but of attachment. Before the police arrived, Pappu Yadav had lashed out at Bihar’s Deputy CM cum Home Department Minister Samrat Chaudhary. The matter may be old but the police arrived shortly after Pappu Yadav’s statement.
‘Did you do justice in Rupesh’s murder?’
Attacking the Deputy CM, Pappu Yadav had said this some time before the arrival of the police, “Samrat Babu, the entire sex scandal of a former MLA’s son was seen, did you arrest him? Did you do justice in Rupesh’s murder? If you have the courage, then do justice. I will make one more request to Samrat Babu… He is the son of Dhananjay Singh… He fired a shot at the senior SP, arrest him… Then a rat came out of a hole… The ant doesn’t catch you.”

‘We are terrorists… arrest us’
After the police arrived, Pappu Yadav made two tweets (X). One wrote, “Murder of young entrepreneur Suraj Bihari, yet due to Bihar Police not being able to catch a murderer, Suraj’s father entrepreneur Jawahar Yadav ji died today. Bihar Police, which performed aarti for his murderers, has arrived with police from five police stations to arrest me! We are terrorists, arrest us.”
Another tweet reads, “Very brilliant Bihar Police, we NEET students fought for justice, Bihar Police got stomach ache. They reached Patna residence to arrest us, but Pappu Yadav will neither bow down nor remain silent due to this. We will keep exposing the activities of dishonest people! Send us to jail or hang us, Pappu will not stop.”
