Pakistan’s criticism: Israeli envoy said – India can become a better mediator in West Asia crisis, slammed Pak – ‘India Can Be Better Mediator Than Pakistan,’ Says Special Envoy Fleur Hassan-nahoum

The ongoing conflict in West Asia has now entered its second month and meanwhile, Israel’s Foreign Ministry’s Special Envoy Fleur Hassan-Nahum has given a big statement. He said that the conflict had become a ‘multi-front regional war’ from the beginning and Israel had gained a significant advantage militarily in it. Speaking from Jerusalem, he said that on October 7, there was an attack from the south by Hamas, which he described as an organization supported by Iran. The very next day there was an attack from the north, making it clear that Israel had to fight on several fronts simultaneously.

‘India can be a better mediator than Pakistan’

Raising questions on Pakistan’s possible mediation, he said that Pakistan itself is struggling with the problem of terrorism and it will not be very successful in this matter. Praising India’s role, he said that India has good relations with all countries and can prove to be a better mediator than Pakistan.

Agreement could not be reached due to Iran’s stubbornness – Nahum

Talking about America’s role, he said that President Donald Trump has always given an opportunity for talks, but due to Iran’s stubbornness, an agreement could not be reached. Describing this strategy as correct, he said that on one hand the path of dialogue should be kept open and on the other hand, military action should be continued if necessary.

‘Israel weakened the opposing forces’

Fleur Hassan-Nahum claimed that Israel has significantly weakened the opposition forces in the past month. According to him, about 80% of the rocket launch systems belonging to Iran have been destroyed. He also said that the navy and top military and political leadership of the opposing side had also suffered heavy losses. Along with this, he also claimed instability and chaos inside Iran, where cracks in the leadership and a stampede-like situation are being reported.

‘Iran cannot get permission to possess nuclear weapons’

Taking a tough stance on Iran’s nuclear programme, he said that under no circumstances can a country which openly talks about destruction be allowed to possess nuclear weapons.
