Pakistan missile program Banned by US after this najam sethi react know what he said after sanction

Pakistan Missile Programme: America has banned Pakistan’s ballistic missile program. Pakistan has called this step discriminatory and a threat to regional security. He has strongly condemned it. Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry has declared it unacceptable. On this matter, senior Pakistani journalist and political analyst Najam Sethi has expressed concern over this situation. He says that mere condemnation is not enough, but a concrete strategy will have to be prepared considering the long-term consequences of this decision. He also expressed apprehension that America may raise questions on Pakistan’s nuclear program in future.

During a program on Sama TV, Najam Sethi, while referring to the historical context, said that Pakistan was an ally of America in the 50s, 60s and 70s because it had no other options. At that time India was making alliance with Russia. Today, the growing relations between India and America have increased the distance between Pakistan and America. According to Sethi, if American pressure increases then Pakistan will naturally lean towards China.

Current status of China-Pakistan relations
However, Sethi also admitted that relations between China and Pakistan are currently tense on some issues. There are many issues involved in this, due to which the relations between the two countries have soured in recent times, which are as follows.

  • Gwadar issue: This is a major part of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), where many problems remain.
  • Bottlenecks in CPEC: Due to non-resolution of these issues, there is tension between the two countries.

Sethi believes that if these disputes are resolved, China can provide significant help in Pakistan’s missile development program.

US sanctions and the future of the missile program
Najam Sethi said that Pakistan’s missile program will not stop despite American sanctions. He clarified that there will definitely be some obstacles in this program, but it will continue.

Attention to Pakistan’s nuclear program
According to Sethi, in 2025, the focus of America and Israel will be mainly on Iran’s nuclear program. If America is successful in ending Iran’s nuclear program, then in 2026, America’s entire focus can be focused on Pakistan’s nuclear program. .
