CBI has detained a Russian for his alleged role in the JEE paper leak case
JEE Mains exam was compromised last year, and papers were leaked. CBI said: it interrogated a Russian man who was allegedly at the center of the scam.

Russian hacker Mikhail Shargin hacked into the software provided by TCS, a computer-based exam conducted across the country to determine admission to engineering colleges.
Airport authorities knew about his case and arrival from Kazakhstan, and he was detained in Delhi.
“He had hacked TCS Software which was the platform for the JEE Mains Exam, in order to provide remote connectivity to control computer terminals of candidates appearing for the exam,” said sources.
This is not the first case of Russian Hacker invading Indian Systems
Indulged students were able to cheat because ‘teachers’ or impersonators were able to take charge of their computers and take the exam instead of students. A private coaching institute named Affinity Education in Uttar Pradesh’s Noida had solved the question paper for students. Around ₹ 12-15 lakh rupees was paid to the institute.
The ‘remote access’ was provisioned by the examination center in Sonepat in Haryana. Twenty students were believed to have cheated and were banned from taking the exam for the next three years.
A case was then registered by the CBI, which conducted raids in different cities and seized laptops and other equipment used in the scam.

The investigation was followed by UK National Cyber Crime Unit and the FBI.

A hacker had deceived Uber and Rockstar employees into turning over access to their login credentials by pretending to be a company IT worker by social engineering.

2. They then accessed Uber’s VPN with the stolen credentials to connect to Uber’s internal network.
3. While scanning Uber’s internal network, the hacker discovered a shared network folder that contained PowerShell script.

4. The hacker identified a PowerShell script that included the username and password of an administrative user of a Privileged Access Management (PAM) tool, which stores secrets (e.g.credentials, keys, etc). For Uber, it was secrets for many internal systems and applications.
5. The hacker used secrets stored in PAM tools to access Uber’s systems and applications with control of this account, the attacker claimed, they were able to gain access tokens for Uber cloud infrastructure, including Amazon Web Services, Google’s GSuite, VMware’s vSphere dashboard, the authentication manager Duo, and the critical identity and access management services.
6. The hacker then taunted Uber by posting in their company slack instance, notifying them of the hack!

Ride StartedIt was night 11.00~11:30 PM (Saturday) when we had food in Vijayanagar food street and started the journey home in the heavy traffic of Bangalore. We travelled in traffic and thought to deviate for a better road, and then google maps suggested this new road.We were commencing a village in this red-marked area, and it was almost 1.30~2:00 hours of the journey due to heavy traffic. It was a village with tiny houses, huts, and plain land. Only a few street lights were working on this road, and we were also observing and enjoying the calm and clean breeze (a lot better than traffic on the dusty road).Enjoying time & weatherThere was a road with no house, only plain land time was ticking 12.30~1:00 Approx, and bike speed was also slow (45~60 Kmph) as it was a slippery sand road.Situation Straight road, I saw a lady walking in a hurry.. rushing somewhere .. as said earlier, BRIGHT SHINING white saree, jasmine in her head ( i was able to smell jasmine fragrance in almost 10~15 Meters) , a small vanity bag either left or right ..here my common sense was disabled. For this, he sold the petrol machine that sprayed in the fields, which the farmer sold in junk after malfunction.
He bought it from the junk and repaired it and bought some goods motorcycles and made some changes on a bicycle and fitted that motor in it. After about 1 week, he converted that bicycle into a bike. Now this Jugaad bike runs at a speed of about 30 kilometers of copy and travels about 120 kilometers in 1 liter.
