Although there was no problem in running all our samples videos on the phone, but we found that there was some strange problem in the sample with 40MBPS. The video with different resolution of the second format went well on the phone. We were very excited to use Dolby ATMOS on A7000, but regretted that this feature disappointed.

Dolby ATMOS on the phone is mainly an app, which can be used for sound handling according to the need. Whether it is to listen to music or watch a film. In fact, it looks like a softesticated equelizer app through which you can adjust the fruit level of the sound as per the need. We saw many content on the phone. The experience of using the A7000 camera app was fun for us. According to the budget phone, the 8 -megapixel camera of this device shoots rapidly but the pictures are average. Lenovo has adopted the right strategy according to the price range by keeping the price of A7000 at Rs 8,999. This phone is cheaper by Rs 1,000 from phones like Micromax’s Yu Yureka, Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G, Huawei Honor 4X and Infocus M330, which is a profitable deal for this. Lenovo A7000 is a great phone for gaming and common use.

Unfortunately, the multimedia features that were emphasized during its launch do not live up to expectations. This does not mean that Lenovo does not perform on A7000 multimedia. But this problem was cured after closing 3G data option for the third time and resuming it. On several more occasions, there was a problem in responding to the e-mail app on touch input. At first we felt that probably the deficiency was related to touchscreen, but after research found that the problem was coming only in the mail app which was very disappointing.

Xiaomi also informed about the visual IVR specification while launching the product. Xiaomi has once again won through Mi 4i. The price of this phone is about half of the smartphone on the powerful platform like Snapdragon 615, but in terms of performance, Mi 4i gave good results in every department. On the other hand, there are some shortcomings in MIUI. The performance of the camera could have been better. Many of our samples did not go on the video phone. Lumia 532, completely failed to play videos of 720 pixels. 480 pixels video files run, but through third party app. The voice in the speaker was loud but it was somewhat suppressed.

Despite being a fixed focus lens, the performance of the rear camera was not so bad. The photo taken in low light was good. It is clear that in terms of camera, Xiaomi is far better than Redmi 2 Lumia 532. However, the video was bad as expected and the front camera was of no use.

Its battery lasted for 9 hours 4 minutes in the video loop test, keeping in mind the size of the battery, this was a shocking result. It seems that Microsoft has made some changes in its software and hardware that costs the battery low and this is a good thing.

By the way, we had some problems in using this phone. On some occasions we found that the phone was automatically switched. And to turn it on, the battery had to be removed again and again. On not using the phone for some time, it was found that it started being updated by itself. This process took about 10 minutes, during which we could not use the phone.

Our decision
Microsoft in the budget segment cannot win just features and specifications. Therefore, the company has tried to further improve its hardware and Windows phone software experience. In fact, they are plastic on the edges of the phone. However, Micromax has given a metallic coating to make it real. A similar color scheme was also seen in Micromax Canvas Gold A300.

The screen of the smartphone is 4.7 inches. The top part has the place of ear piece, front camera and light sensor. Touch sensitive buttons are built downwards for navigation in the phone. The outlines of these buttons are quite thin and the lights do not burn in advance, due to which there is a problem in the use.

Power and volume buttons are built on the right side of the phone. The performance of these buttons is average. The back of the phone has a place for the speaker at the bottom. Performance and camera
There are many shortcomings in the performance of Canvas Spark. On several occasions, after touching the app icon, he had to wait for 15 seconds till it became active. The screen was not responded many times during the standbai mode. The phone did not smooth due to these shortcomings. While playing high-end games, the shortcomings of the phone were clearly visible. However, there was no decrease in performance during the casual games.

The phone got 19,499 and 5,494 points during the AnTuTu and Quadrant benchmark test. These figures are equal to the remaining smartphones with such hardware. In the GFXBench graphics test, Canvas Spark scored 3,231 in 9.3FPS and 3DMark Ice Storm Test.

Playing 1080 pixels video files many times, there were many times dropping frames. The speaker’s voice is good but on the high volume it starts to break. The voice in the headset given by the company is fine, but there is a lot of improvement in the voice in good earphones. During the phone call, the voice was getting good and we did not face the problem of dropping a phone call.

Canvas Spark’s battery worked for 7 hours and 16 minutes during the video loop test, most of the phones of this range also perform the same performance. However, during the processor intensive task, there was a tremendous decline in the battery life of the phone.

The camera disappointed. Photo drawn from the rear camera had shortcomings like under -exposure and over saturation. While shooting the video at 720 pixels, the camera app hangs several times. However, recorded video footage did not have that much deficiencies. By the way, the problem of under exposure was also seen in video footage. The shots taken in low light had a lot of grains, the performance of the front camera was also nothing special.

Our suggestion
We appreciate what Micromax has tried to achieve through Canvas Spark, but the lapse in the case of performance is clearly visible. It is a smartphone winner in terms of design and price. Canvas Spark is priced at Rs 4,999, which is 1,000 less than the rest of the budget range smartphone. If the budget is an important issue then this phone is for you. But, we would suggest you that by spending a little more money, buy Motorola Moto E (Gen 2) or Xiaomi Redmi 2, your smartphone experience will be better.
