Authorities in the Florida Panhandle are taking spring break by storm by sharing viral bodycam video in an effort to crack down on rowdy college students allegedly breaking the law.

The Bay County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO), which has jurisdiction over hotspot Panama City, has launched a social media campaign looking to deter college students from engaging in unlawful behavior by promoting arrests online.

“We appreciate visitors that respect our community and laws, but will not tolerate disorder in illegal activity,” Bay County Sheriff Tommy Ford said in a video posted to Facebook.

The department is sharing clips of recent incidents stemming from spring break chaos, earning hundreds of thousands of views as officials throughout the Sunshine State grapple with another year of college students descending on their city’s beaches.

In the fourteenth episode of “Busted in the Panhandle,” BCSO takes viewers along for the ride as they break up multiple house parties and street racing events tied to spring break.

A portion of the video shows a chaotic scene outside a residential home in which a college-aged man is covered in blood while claiming he was “jumped,” as authorities respond to a call regarding a house party disturbance on Feb. 28.

According to an incident report obtained by Fox News Digital, authorities arrived on the scene to find Steven Claghorn “with blood on his face and shirt attempting to enter a vehicle,” while a woman identified as “Ava” was yelling at him.

Upon speaking to several witnesses, deputies learned Claghorn had broken up with Ava “on her birthday” during a party at the house, resulting in a fight between the pair

The altercation allegedly turned physical when Claghorn raised his fist and attempted to swing at Ava, but was blocked by the group, according to the incident report.

After officers arrived, the situation quickly escalated after Ava appeared to shove a female police officer, causing her to be taken into custody.

“Don’t handle her like that,” Claghorn, who appears to be intoxicated, tells the officer. “I don’t care about the job title. Don’t handle her like that.”

Ava can be heard hysterically screaming as she is handcuffed and placed in the back of a police car after being arrested on charges of willfully and knowingly obstructing or opposing a law enforcement officer.

Claghorn was subsequently arrested on charges of assault and resisting a law enforcement officer without violence, according to police.

Another clip shows officers breaking up a house party hosted by students at the start of spring break on March 8.

Approximately a dozen students, dressed in party clothes and bathing suits, can be seen filing out of the home as officers try to determine who is in charge of the party.

SPRING BREAK CRACKDOWN: SOUTHERN TOWNS ROLL OUT ALCOHOL BANS AND NEW RESTRICTIONS

At one point, the students are lined up along the wall and questioned as to who is currently staying at the house.

“We live in a city where people come in for vacation and have a good time, but at no point does that mean that we’re going to be okay with people coming into our county or our city and breaking our rules and our laws,” an officer can be heard telling the group. “Does that makes sense?”

In another clip, authorities take an individual into custody for allegedly street racing with a pair of vehicles on Feb. 28.

According to an incident report obtained by Fox News Digital, an officer witnessed two vehicles engaged in an apparent street racing match in which the leading vehicle was observed reaching speeds of 107 mph.

Bodycam video shows officers taking the driver into custody.

“I’m under arrest?” The driver can be heard asking.

“Yeah, 107 [mph] in a 45 [mph zone],” the officer replies as he places handcuffs on the individual.

The driver, identified as Rodney Jackson, was subsequently arrested and charged with racing on the roadway and super speeder – speed over 100 mph.

In response to the Spring Break chaos, authorities have banned alcohol on Panama City Beach for the month of March and bars must close by 2 a.m. Additionally, BCSO has implemented a nighttime curfew for minors and vacation rentals are barred from renting to anyone under 21 years of age.

In nearby Volusia County, officials made 133 spring break-related arrests over the weekend.

“If you plan on engaging in this type of activity, I’d recommend you find somewhere else to go,” Ford said. “We encourage parents of minors considering coming to Panama City Beach to make them aware of these rules to avoid significant expense and legal consequences.”

Major attacks Trump on Iran and Starmer’s ‘tiptoeing’ approach to president | Politics News

0

Sir John Major has attacked Donald Trump over the Iran war and accused Sir Keir Starmer of a “demeaning” policy of “tiptoeing” around the president.

The former prime minister said President Trump should have sought United Nations backing for the war and claimed it would not end hostilities in the Middle East.

In a hard-hitting speech, Sir John also bitterly condemned US vice president JD Vance and defence secretary Pete Hegseth for their “shameful” attacks on Europe and NATO.

Denouncing the president’s strategy, Sir John said: “There was no diplomatic attempt to obtain a UN resolution to give legality to the war. No nation – other than Israel – was even consulted.

“This was despite the fact that the war was bound have much wider repercussions across the Middle East and beyond. Many nations will pay a price for this war.

“Hostilities will not end when bombing stops. Old hatreds will linger. New hatreds will have been born. A new generation may have been radicalised. Retaliation may be deferred, but it is likely to come.”

In a lecture at King’s College, London, honouring Clement Attlee, the ex-PM said the Iran war’s aims have never been clear and have been changing by the day since the conflict began.

“No exit strategy is known,” he said. “The president demanded surrender. He is unlikely to get it.”

‘Fascinating’ Senate grilling of Trump’s intelligence chief over Iran’s ‘imminent threat’

In contrast, Sir John praised his relationship with George HW Bush, during the first Gulf War in 1990-91 and said they never held back in their discussions.

“But today, there is a tendency to tiptoe around the president to avoid upsetting him,” he said. “Although I understand that, I do not agree with it.

“Sovereign states that demean themselves will be seen as subordinates and not allies. That is not a role for the UK.

“If we disagree with American policy we should say so – as a friend that cares for the wellbeing of an ally. Statesmen do this in private ‒ not in public.”

Describing a “new tone from America”, Sir John said: “President Trump argues that America is being ripped off by trading partners and – without consultation – he raised tariffs on imports from wealthy and poor countries, whether friend or foe.

“When the Supreme Court ruled these to be illegal, he reimposed a 15% general increase using different powers not yet tested in courts.”

Michael Clarke: Iran war could ‘fatally damage’ Trump – but he’ll still be in power

And he added: “Uncertainty was reinforced by the president’s dismissive attitude to Europe, his demands for the ownership of Greenland – the territory of a NATO ally.

“And his expressed view that the incursion of Ukraine by Russia was solely a problem for Europe. This is not the America we have known.”

Attacking vice president Vance, who he said accused Europeans of being a greater threat to freedom than Russia, Sir John said. “That was offensive and absurd in equal measure.

“It was President Putin who sent Russian troops to invade Ukraine ‒ not vice-versa.”

He said when President Zelenskyy visited the White House he was “ambushed” by President Trump, yet when President Putin arrived in Washington he was greeted with “a red-carpet reception”.

Trump tells Sky News he’s ‘not afraid of anything’

On NATO, Sir John said the vice president was on record as saying: “I just hate bailing out Europe again”, and the defence secretary was contemptuous of “vague notions of international law” and the “stupid rules of engagement”.

He said: “Such disregard of law is a shameful example for a law maker to set.”

On domestic UK politics, in a clear reference to Reform UK, Sir John said “populist insurgents” seek to “divide and not unite, cause strife, trade on grievances and exaggerate ills”.

He added: “They then blame those ills on minority groups of a different race or religion. It is ugly politics that deserves no place in our country.

“So – if you rejoice at the dire polling of Labour and the Conservatives ‒ beware of what you wish for.”

He also said MPs who defect should call a by-election and claimed Brexit had lost the UK £100m a year in trade and £40bn in tax, doing enormous damage to the lives and livelihoods of the British people.

Russia covertly ships fuel to Cuba to bypass US sanctions, reports say

0

NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles!

Russia is covertly shipping oil to Cuba using deceptive shipping tactics to bypass U.S. sanctions, according to maritime intelligence reports, and as the island grapples with fuel shortages and power outages.

One alleged delivery came amid one of Cuba’s worst energy crises and ahead of a grid collapse on March 16 which left roughly 10 million people without electricity, according to Cuban authorities and the U.S. Embassy in Cuba.

“The Hong Kong-flagged tanker, which is not sanctioned, has AIS patterns that suggest the tanker spoofed its location and likely sailed to Cuba to discharge its cargo in early March,” Windward AI said.

The Financial Times also reported March 18 that another Russian-flagged tanker, Anatoly Kolodkin, carrying crude oil, was expected to reach Cuba by April 4.

“We are ready to provide all possible assistance,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov had told reporters at a briefing on Cuba on March 17, The Moscow Times reported.

The alleged shipments came as senior officials at the State Department told Fox News that, under existing law, there are ways for Cuban companies and citizens to purchase oil, but said the Cuban regime is making that impossible.

The U.S. oil embargo prevents the Cuban regime from purchasing oil only, the official confirmed.

Windward AI first identified the tanker, Sea Horse, as the key vessel in the suspected clandestine oil delivery in its report on March 18.

The firm said the vessel was thought to have transported around 190,000 to 200,000 barrels to Cuba while engaging in behavior consistent with sanctions evasion. Although the vessel is not under sanctions, Windward analysts flagged several suspicious activities.

These included switching off its Automatic Identification System (AIS) during a ship-to-ship transfer near Cyprus — where it likely loaded its cargo — and sailing without Western insurance, both common indicators of sanctions circumvention.

The tanker also repeatedly altered its stated destination, initially signaling Havana before changing to “Gibraltar for orders,” a tactic often used to obscure final delivery points.

After crossing the Atlantic, it appeared to drift while broadcasting that it was “not under command,” with analysts suggesting its AIS signals may have been manipulated to conceal its true location and activities.

These movements strongly indicate that the vessel may have completed an unreported delivery to Cuba before resuming normal transmissions.

Since Jan. 29, U.S. measures — effectively creating an oil blockade — have disrupted fuel shipments to the island.

The policy shift followed major changes in Venezuela and the arrest of Nicolás Maduro, further tightening supply to Cuba and discouraging other tankers from approaching its ports.

President Donald Trump had warned that countries supplying oil to Cuba could face tariffs, while Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel condemned the measures as an “economic war” and pledged continued resistance in a post shared on X.

“The only way for Cuba to fix its energy crisis is to address the root cause of its economic failures: total government control of economic life,” a U.S. official told Fox News on March 17.

“The regime must make significant changes, allowing for privatization and for the Cuban people to provide for themselves,” they said.

Otherwise, another senior State Department official said Cuba’s blackouts have “sadly become common for many years in Cuba — a symptom of the failing regime’s incompetence and inability to provide even the most basic goods and services for its people.”

“This is the tragic result of over 60 years of Communist rule. An island that was once the crown jewel of the Caribbean has plunged into extreme poverty and darkness.

“As President Trump has said, what is left of the regime should make a deal and finally let the Cuban people be free and prosperous, with the help of the United States,” the official said.

“Cuba right now is in very bad shape. They’re talking to Marco,” Trump told reporters March 17 before adding that “we’ll be doing something with Cuba very soon.”

King says UK ‘blessed’ by Nigerian influence as he hosts state banquet for President Tinubu and the first lady | UK News

0

The King has paid tribute to the contribution of people of Nigerian heritage as he held a state banquet for the country’s president.

President Bola Tinubu and his wife Oluremi Tinubu are in the UK for a two-day state visit.

The King said Britain was “blessed” that many people of Nigerian heritage are “at the heart of British life through excelling at the highest levels of business, technology, academia, law, science, sport, literature and the arts, and public service”.

He said he had met “so many of these quiet heroes in our schools, businesses, National Health Service and universities”.

“From Afrobeats filling our concert halls and Nollywood captivating our screens, to stars competing in our Premier League and adjudicating our highest courts, so much of Britain’s culture is, in truth, profoundly enriched by Nigeria,” said the King.

Guests at the banquet tucked into a menu that included quail egg tartlet, fillet of turbot, lobster mousse wrapped in spinach, and iced blackcurrant souffle.

A mocktail called Crimson Bloom was also served, using West African beverage Zobo and other ingredients.

President Tinubu is Muslim, so he did his toast with a soft drink, and the King also wished him “Ramadan Mubarak” to mark the end of the Islamic holy month.

Alcohol was available at the banquet for those who wanted it.

The scheme brings together Muslim men and women in positions of religious authority – from across ethnic and theological differences – for a leadership programme.

The King last visited Nigeria – a country of some 230 million people – in 2018.

He told guests at tonight’s banquet that the country had “arrived” and was “transforming at a remarkable pace”.

Sen. Bernie Moreno calls Democratic colleagues disgusting over DHS shutdown

0

NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles!

Sen. Bernie Moreno, R-Ohio, lambasted his Democratic colleagues for blaming Republicans for the partial government shutdown during a Congressional hearing on Wednesday, calling their behavior “disgusting” and “disgraceful.”

Moreno used his allotted time during Oklahoma Republican Sen. Markwayne Mullin’s confirmation hearing for the Department of Homeland Security Secretary to focus on the close to 260,000 DHS employees, which includes Transportation Security Administration employees, who have gone without a paycheck for more than a month.

“260,000 American citizen families who have not received a paycheck in over a month. None of those people are in charge of policy,” Moreno said. “It’s not one of those families that makes policy decisions. For the most part, that’s on the people here. There isn’t a single human being on this dais that has missed a paycheck. Every single one of us has gotten a paycheck the last 30 days and before that.”

Moreno argued that the real victims of the government shutdown are DHS employees.

“They’re having to tell their kids they can’t send them to dance recital because they did everything right in life except got a job with the Department of Homeland Security so that a politician can make a 30-second video online to fundraiser for the next election,” he said.

“That’s disgusting.”

Weeks ago, Sen. Cory Booker, D-N.J., posted a video on social media vowing to vote against funding DHS until reforms are made to the agency.

Moreno then turned his attention toward Homeland Security & Governmental Affairs ranking member Gary Peters, D-Mich., accusing him of failing to keep his promise of keeping key agencies funded. But Peters wasn’t paying attention. Moreno called it “incredibly disrespectful” before laying in on Peters.

“You said you’re going to fund all these agencies,” Moreno said to Peters. “Here’s one that you haven’t funded.”

Moreno showcased a large poster board, which shared how the mission of DHS was being compromised by the government shutdown. At the top of the board was listed U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.

“USCIS is near and dear to my heart,” Moreno said. “That’s how I became a US citizen. We’ve defunded the agency that allows legal immigrants into this country. That is insane. Never hear the Democrats talk about that. 3,300 employees, trying to process legal immigrants. They don’t get a paycheck.”

He also railed against the defunding of Customs and Border Patrol and Immigration Customs and Enforcement.

“Are you suggesting that we not fund an organization that tracks transnational organizations?” Moreno rhetorically asked Democrats of ICE funding. “Be specific. When you say you don’t want to fund ICE, I want you to say the words ‘we do not want to fund 7,000 special agents that are in charge of stopping transnational criminal organizations, drug smugglers, and human traffickers.”

Microsoft publishes workaround for Samsung C:\ drive woes • The Register

0

Microsoft has published a handy guide for regaining access to a C:\ drive borked by a Samsung application, but it isn’t for the faint of heart.

Earlier this week, Microsoft blamed Samsung for problems some users experienced when accessing the C:\ drive on their devices. After doing the IT equivalent of shrugging its shoulders and directing users to Samsung’s support for resolution, the Windows giant has published some instructions. But goodness, they’re not for the faint-hearted.

First, a user must sign in with administrator rights. Then, after uninstalling the offending Samsung applications, the ownership of every file on drive C:\ must be changed to Everyone (effectively, any user account on the system, including guests). Then the user must create a batch file containing commands to restore the correct permissions and run it. After a restart, everything should be back to normal.

It could be worse. It could be a Registry hack, where one typo could cause disaster. That said, the idea of changing the ownership of every file to Everyone is also fraught with danger, even though Microsoft insisted, “This process restores Windows default, secure permissions on the system drive and does not access or modify personal files.”

As far as Microsoft is concerned, the steps mitigate the issue, and the company wrote, “Microsoft and Samsung collaborated to validate these steps, which restore standard Windows permissions.”

Microsoft also directed users struggling with the procedure to Samsung’s support channels.

The issue, in which some Samsung devices lost access to the C:\ drive after installing a Windows security update, was traced to a problem in the Samsung Galaxy Connect app rather than Microsoft’s update. The app was temporarily removed from the Microsoft store, and a previous version without the problem was published, but for many affected users, the damage was done.

Microsoft’s latest workaround is a step up from the “recovery options for devices already impacted remain limited” it originally noted for the issue. It is not for the nervous or technically inept, however. Flagging the issue as “Resolved” indicates that users should not hold their breath waiting for a Microsoft patch to spare Samsung’s blushes. ®

Jack Hughes hears back from Hockey Hall of Fame on Olympic golden goal puck

0

NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles!

If Jack Hughes wants to see the puck from the biggest goal of his life, he will have to travel to Toronto to see it.

The New Jersey Devils star turned USA Hockey Olympic hero called out the Hockey Hall of Fame, saying it was “bulls—” that they had the puck that found the back of the net off Hughes’ stick to give the United States their first gold medal in men’s hockey since 1980.

“I’m trying to get it… Why would they have that puck?” Hughes said to ESPN.

Well, they have it because it was donated after the game by the International Ice Hockey Federation.

“Unfortunately, in the easiest words, it was never Jack’s puck to own,” Philip Pritchard, vice president of the resource center and curator for the Hockey Hall of Fame, told ESPN in response to Hughes. “It’s been donated to us now. For every artifact that’s been donated, we have a paper trail and signed paperwork of where it’s come from.”

NHL players are often allowed to keep pucks and gear for themselves when milestone moments occur in NHL games, but in most international tournaments, including the Olympics, an on-ice official is in charge of collecting what becomes memorabilia and giving it to an off-ice official for identification, who will then deliver it to the IIHF for donation.

JACK HUGHES REFLECTS ON NEWFOUND FAME SINCE OLYMPICS, INCLUDING SUPPORT FROM RIVAL FANS

“Items are formally transferred to the Hall through IIHF’s established artifact donation process and added into our permanent collection. These artifacts are preserved, exhibited and shared with fans worldwide through our museum and international outreach programs, ensuring that defining Olympic and World Championship moments are preserved, and remain accessible to the global hockey community,” the Hall of Fame said in a statement.

The Hall of Fame had staff on hand in Milan to assist in the donation process. Megan Keller’s golden goal, scored three days before Hughes’, is also in the Hall of Fame.

“I wouldn’t even want it for myself,” he explained. “I’d want it for my dad. I know he’d just love, love having it,” Hughes said of the puck. When I look back in time in my career, I don’t collect too many things for myself, but my dad’s a monster collector for the three of us. I know he would have a special place for it.”

GOP state leaders support Trump’s SAVE America Act in coordinated new letters

0

NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles!

FIRST ON FOX: Republican governors and attorneys general are backing President Donald Trump’s push to require proof of citizenship for voting, warning in an exclusive letter that current registration systems rely on an “honor system” and fail to adequately verify who is casting ballots in federal elections.

The coalition argued the gaps give states with large populations of people in the country illegally “undue influence” over federal elections and how billions in taxpayer dollars are distributed.

The letters, from members of the America First Policy Institute’s (AFPI) Governors and Attorneys General Councils and obtained exclusively by Fox News Digital, show coordinated support from Republican state leaders for the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act, legislation Trump has previously said he has to sign before he’ll sign anything else.

Trump has recently ramped up pressure on Congress to pass the SAVE Act, aka the SAVE America Act, calling mail-in voting “corrupt as h—“ as the legislation moved to the Senate floor this week.

“The biggest thing coming up is the SAVE America Act in the Senate,” Trump said Tuesday, adding, “Who would not have voter ID, who would not have proof of citizenship? … The only people who would want not to have that are people that want to cheat.”

Senate Republicans have already taken initial steps to advance the bill, voting 51-48 to begin debate, though its path forward remains uncertain as Democrats remain unified in opposition.

In a letter to Senate leadership, members of AFPI’s Governors Council described the SAVE America Act as a “commonsense measure” to ensure elections are decided “by, and only by, American citizens.”

The letter was signed by a group of Republican governors, including Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds and Texas Gov. Rick Perry, as well as attorneys general from states including Iowa, Alabama and South Carolina.

They argued that while federal law limits voting in federal elections to U.S. citizens, states are “not required to verify citizenship at the time of registration.”

“States with large illegal populations and little to no safeguards… unfairly hold undue influence in our Nation’s law-making process and how billions of dollars in tax revenue are distributed,” the governors wrote.

REPS. FINE, SELF, HARRIS, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH: WE’LL BLOCK THE SENATE UNTIL THE SAVE ACT PASSES

The governors also pointed to gaps in current systems, noting that while many states require identification at the polls, others lack mechanisms to verify eligibility at the registration stage. They said they are prepared to work with state election officials to implement the law in a way that protects access for eligible voters while strengthening safeguards.

In a separate letter, Republican attorneys general echoed those concerns, focusing on enforcement and the structure of current voter registration systems.

“Existing voter registration procedures largely rely on the honor system, with voters simply checking a box to claim U.S. citizenship without requiring any documentary verification,” the group wrote. The attorneys general said the SAVE Act would close that gap by requiring applicants to provide “documentary proof of United States citizenship” when registering to vote in federal elections.

They emphasized that the bill would preserve state control over election administration.

“[The SAVE Act] does not nationalize elections,” the group wrote, adding that it also would not “disenfranchise American citizens.”

The attorneys general also pushed back on criticism of the proposal, writing: “It is an insult to suggest that minorities, women, or members of the working class are not smart enough to obtain and provide simple proofs of citizenship.”

The governors said they are committed to implementing the law in a way that ensures “no eligible American citizen is unduly burdened” while preventing ineligible registrations.

“Our constituents deserve to know that their votes are protected and that elections in this country are free, fair, and secure,” they wrote.

“President Trump’s SAVE America Act is commonsense legislation supported by the vast majority of Americans who want to ensure our elections are secure and that only American citizens vote in American elections,” White House spokeswoman Abigal Jackson said to Fox News Digital in a statement. “Our elections should be treated with the utmost security and the SAVE America Act will ensure that they are.”

Udhampur. Special preparations have been completed in the temples and homes of the district. According to Pandit Satyamurthy Sharma of Ramnagar, the auspicious time for setting up the Kalash on the first Navratri is Thursday between 11:15 am to 12:30 pm. Devotees will worship Goddess Shailputri by planting barley (sakh) in their homes. Will pledge for nine-day puja. Mother Shailputri will be worshiped on the first day. Pandit Sharma told that devotees should fill water in the Kalash and put sandalwood, betel nut and coin. Place seven or nine mango leaves along with it. Fill a bowl of rice, place it on top of the Kalash, decorate the coconut with red chunri and install it. Make Swastika symbol on the Kalash and worship it with lamp, incense, Akshat and flowers. Also fill a vessel with soil and plant barley. Offer Panchamrit (milk, curd, ghee, honey and sugar) and worship with mantras.

Rights group says Palestinian children consistently report ‘appalling and debilitating conditions’ in Israeli prisons.

More than half of the Palestinian children detained in Israeli prisons at the end of last year were being held without charge or trial, a Palestinian rights group has said, as concerns mount over reported abuses in Israeli detention facilities.

In a statement on Wednesday, Defense for Children International-Palestine (DCIP) said 51 percent of 351 detained Palestinian children were being held in what’s known as “administrative detention” as of December 31, 2025.

That is “both the highest number and the highest proportion on record” since the group began monitoring the figures in 2008, it said.

Citing newly released Israel Prison Service (IPS) statistics, DCIP said the figures account for Israeli prisons under IPS administration but do not include children held in Israeli military detention and interrogation centres.

“There is no available data for the number of children or adults detained at these sites, though DCIP has gathered firsthand testimonies from previously detained children describing systematic torture and dehumanizing conditions,” the organisation said.

Palestinians across the occupied territories, including children, have faced a surge in arrests and detention in the shadow of Israel’s genocidal war in the Gaza Strip, which began in October 2023.

The Israeli authorities have used administrative detention to hold many of those detainees.

A longstanding policy, administrative detention allows Israel to hold Palestinians without charge or trial for six-month periods that can be renewed indefinitely.

According to Palestinian prisoner advocacy group Addameer, more than a third of the 9,500 Palestinians detained by Israel as of March 11 were being held under administrative detention.

DCIP’s statement on Wednesday comes amid multiple reports by human rights groups detailing allegations of a range of abuses in Israeli prisons and interrogation facilities, including sexual violence and torture.

While Israel has denied any wrongdoing, in August 2024, Israeli rights organisation B’Tselem described the Israeli prison system as a “network of torture camps”.

The group, which interviewed dozens of former detainees, accused Israeli authorities of employing “a systemic, institutional policy focused on the continual abuse and torture of all Palestinian prisoners”.

DCIP also said Palestinian children have consistently reported “appalling and debilitating conditions within Israeli detention facilities”, from beatings to denials of medical care and torture, including the use of solitary confinement.

It added that the torture and arbitrary detention of children violates the United Nations’ Convention on the Rights of the Child, which Israel has ratified.
