Gold-silver Price: Fluctuations continue in the bullion market today, know the latest update of gold and silver – Today Sarafa Bazar Gold Price Aaj Sona Chandi Ka Bhav Gold And Silver Price Mcx Rates News Gold

There was a sharp fall in the prices of gold and silver in the global market on Monday. Selling was seen in both the precious metals under pressure from rising geopolitical tensions and a stronger dollar.

The price of gold on Comex fell nearly 3% to $ 4,462 an ounce. It is noteworthy that before this, gold had fallen by about 11% last week, which is considered to be its biggest weekly fall since 1983. At the same time, during Asian trading, the price of silver also fell by about 3% to $ 67.5 an ounce.

Why are gold and silver prices falling?

According to experts, the rise in crude oil prices has increased inflation concerns. This has weakened the hopes of soon cutting interest rates by other central banks including the US Federal Reserve. Since gold is a non-yielding asset, in such an environment its demand decreases and prices come under pressure.

Apart from this, the strength in dollar and US bond yields is also proving negative for gold and silver. Due to the strong dollar, gold becomes expensive for investors investing in other currencies, due to which its demand decreases.

West Asia tension increases uncertainty

The volatility in the oil market increased further when US President Donald Trump gave Iran an ultimatum to reopen the Strait of Hormuz within two days. He warned that failure to do so could lead to possible attacks on Iran’s power plants.

In response, Iran warned that if its bases were attacked, it could completely close this important sea route and target energy, IT and water supply infrastructure.

Market panic due to military activities

According to Reuters report, America is sending thousands of additional marines and marines to West Asia. This has further increased the tension in the region, the impact of which is clearly visible on the global financial markets.

Analysts say that at present there is increased uncertainty and risk in the market. In such a situation, the inclination of investors is shifting towards safe but yielding options, due to which gold and silver may remain under pressure.

Gold slides over 2% as West Asia tensions stoke inflation fears

Gold prices slipped more than 2 per cent on Monday, extending their drop to a roughly four-month low, as an escalating Middle East conflict stoked inflation concerns and expectations of higher global interest rates.

Spot gold was down 2.5 per cent at $4,372.86 per ounce, as of 0238 GMT, extending losses for a ninth consecutive session. The metal, which fell on Monday to its lowest level since January 2, lost more than 10 per cent last week.

US gold futures for April delivery fell 4.4 per cent to $4,375.60.

“With the Iranian conflict into its fourth week, and oil prices hanging around the $100 level, expectations have pivoted from rate cuts to potential rate hikes which has tarnished gold’s appeal from a yield point of view,” said Tim Waterer, chief market analyst, KCM Trade.

Escalating the three-week-old war, Iran said on Sunday it would strike the energy and water systems of its Gulf neighbors in retaliation if US President Donald Trump follows through with a threat delivered a day earlier to hit Iran’s electricity grid in 48 hours.

“Gold’s high liquidity appears to be hurting it during this risk-off period. Steep selloffs on stock markets in Asia today are leading to a further unwinding in long gold positions,” Waterer said.

Asian shares fell and oil prices stayed above $110 a barrel, as investors weighed US and Iranian threats to target energy facilities.

The closure of the Strait of Hormuz kept crude elevated, stoking inflation through higher transport and manufacturing costs. ‌While rising inflation typically boosts gold’s appeal as a hedge, high interest rates curb demand for the non-yielding asset.

Meanwhile, market pricing for a US Federal Reserve interest rate hike this year has shot up, and is now seen as far more likely than a rate cut, as interest rate futures were pricing around a 27 per cent chance of a ‌rate hike by December, as per the CME FedWatch tool.

Spot silver lost 3.2 per cent to $65.61 per ounce. Spot platinum fell 2.9 per cent to $1,866.65 and palladium was down 0.5 per cent at $1,397.25.

The governor said that damages could top over $1 billion, with damages to airports, roads, homes and a Maui hospital.

Earthquake in the bullion market: In Delhi, gold is ₹ 9050 and silver is ₹ 10500, what does the fall have to do with West Asia? – Gold Price Silver Rate Bullion Market West Asia Conflict Interest Rates Indian Market Sone Chandi Ke Bhav

0

A huge fall in the prices of gold and silver was recorded in the national capital on Monday. This decline has occurred due to weak domestic demand and global trends. Gold became cheaper by Rs 9,050 per 10 grams, while silver fell by Rs 10,500 per kg.

According to All India Bullion Association, gold of 99.9 percent purity fell by Rs 9,050. This is a decline of about six percent. Now the price of gold has become Rs 1,43,600 per 10 grams. Its closing price on Friday was Rs 1,52,650 per 10 grams. Silver also fell sharply by Rs 10,500 to Rs 2,30,000 per kg. This shows a decline of 4.36 percent. In the last trading session, silver had closed at Rs 2,40,500 per kg. Precious metals have extended last week’s losses. On Monday, spot gold slipped to a four-month low.

What are the main reasons for the decline?

Saumil Gandhi, Senior Analyst, Commodities, HDFC Securities has given several reasons for the decline. He cited the increasing tension in West Asia as the main reason. Due to this tension, the prices of crude oil have gone up. This has also increased inflation related concerns. The possibility of adopting aggressive monetary policy has also increased. Gandhi said US Treasury bond yields rose on the prospect of aggressive monetary policy. This also strengthened the dollar, which put additional pressure on gold and silver.

What is the situation of gold and silver prices in the global market?

A sharp fall in gold prices was also seen in the international market. Spot gold fell US$227.42 to US$4,263.73 an ounce. This was a decline of 5.06 percent. Silver also fell by US $ 4.25 to US $ 63.53 an ounce. This was a decline of 6.3 percent. Praveen Singh, head of commodities at Mirae Asset Sharekhan, said expectations of rising interest rates put pressure on prices. Last week, gold prices had fallen by more than 10 percent. This was the worst weekly fall for gold in four decades.

What is the forecast for the future?

NS Ramaswamy, head of commodities and CRM at Ventura, referred to the oil crisis due to the Iran conflict. This affected the revenue of those countries which were building gold reserves. Gold reserves have decreased due to low surplus. This has led to a huge decline in the demand for gold. Ramaswami said the central bank will not abandon its gold accumulation strategy due to temporary revenue shortfall. When oil flows normalize and surpluses increase again, structural demand for gold will be strong again.

Removing some Copilots will improve Windows 11 • The Register

0

Microsoft has acknowledged that it needs to improve the quality of Windows 11 and outlined its plan to get the job done.

A Friday post from executive veep for Windows and devices Pavan Davuluri, and addressed to Windows Insiders, says he’s taken soundings among users and “What came through was the voice of people who care deeply about Windows and want it to be better.”

Davuluri said Microsoft has already started work to improve the OS and offered a list of changes that starts with “More taskbar customization, including vertical and top positions.”

That’s a feature Microsoft offered 30 years ago, in Windows 95.

We are reducing unnecessary Copilot entry points

His next item is “Integrating AI where it’s most meaningful, with craft and focus,” and reads a lot like an admission that Microsoft has got it wrong with AI in Windows.

“You will see us be more intentional about how and where Copilot integrates across Windows, focusing on experiences that are genuinely useful and well crafted,” Davuluri wrote. “As part of this, we are reducing unnecessary Copilot entry points, starting with apps like Snipping Tool, Photos, Widgets and Notepad.”

Davuluri also promised a File Explorer will become “faster and more dependable,” by offering “a quicker launch experience, reduced flicker, smoother navigation and more reliable performance for everyday file tasks.” He also promised “Copying and moving large files will be faster and more reliable” and “substantially lower latency for search, navigation and context menus.”

Un-dam the RAM cram jam

Another plan calls for “lowering the baseline memory footprint for Windows, freeing up more capacity for the apps you run.” The OS will emerge capable of “More consistent performance, even under load, so apps stay responsive throughout the day.”

This is arguably not responding to user feedback but a commercial necessity, because surging memory prices mean RAM alone accounts for over a third of a PC’s price, leading to higher costs for buyers.

If PC sales slow, so will Microsoft’s revenue. Making Windows 11 fit for a time in which machines packing a mere 8GB of RAM become the norm is therefore a business imperative, not just a technical challenge for the software giant’s OS engineers.

Other items on Microsoft’s to-do list address very old gripes about Windows, such as its flaky performance when connecting to Bluetooth devices, waking up grumpy or slowly after PCs emerge from sleep, and making widgets less intrusive. Davuluri also said Microsoft will work to speed Windows installations, and will offer a one-reboot-a-month option for Windows Update.

The exec also pledged to improve the Windows Insider program with a new and easier-to-use feedback hub. Again, this will please users and benefit Microsoft.

“Elevating the Windows Subsystem for Linux experience” is another promise. Davuluri said it will manifest in a few ways:

  • Faster file performance between Linux and Windows
  • Improved network compatibility and throughput
  • More streamlined first-time setup and onboarding experience
  • Better enterprise management with stronger policy control, security and governance

The Windows boss described the content of his post as items Microsoft will deliver in preview OS builds during March and April, and that members of the Insider program “can expect to see tangible progress that you’ll be able to feel as you preview builds from us throughout the rest of the year.”

But it is unclear when this work will reach the rest of us who run regular Windows releases. ®

Pakistan T20 cricket league to be held in empty stadiums amid oil crisis | Cricket News

Pakistan Super League will be held on schedule from March 26, but without the crowds and only at two venues.

Pakistan’s premier domestic T20 league will take place in empty stadiums due to the recent spike in oil prices, says a top official of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

The franchise-based Pakistan Super League, set to kick off on Thursday, also cancelled its opening ceremony in Lahore, PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi said on Sunday, citing a fuel shortage caused by the conflict in the Middle East.

The league was set to be played in six cities, but now only Lahore and Karachi will be hosting the games, with the opening encounter set to be played at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

Pakistan has faced soaring oil prices prompted by the United States-Israel war on Iran and the subsequent spread of the conflict across the region. Pakistan’s government has asked its citizens to restrict their movements due to rising fuel prices.

“We don’t know how long this war will continue,” Naqvi said.

“We can’t ask people to restrict their movements and then have 30,000 people in stadiums every day. We decided that as long as this [oil] crisis is ongoing, we will not have crowds at matches. This was a difficult decision, but it needed to be made. The opening ceremony will also be cancelled.”

Naqvi said the PCB will issue refunds for all sold tickets within 72 hours and will also compensate franchise owners for the loss of revenue from gate receipts.

Naqvi apologised to the four cities – Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan and Peshawar – that will no longer host PSL games this season. “We have to restrict our movements, and we do not want to waste our resources,” he said. “I especially apologise to Peshawar, which was due to host PSL games for the first time, [but] there will be no crowds anyway, so there was no reason to go to those cities.”

Naqvi said he consulted Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who is also the PCB patron, and the eight franchises before finalising the decision to stage the games in empty stadiums.

Several foreign players have pulled out of PSL due to personal reasons, including Australians Jake Fraser-McGurk and Spencer Johnson, South African Ottneil Baartman and Gudakesh Motie of the West Indies.
