Smartphones today work as primary camera for many people. There are many concrete reasons for this. Today, the photography done with smartphones has become much better. If there is a smartphone together, then get out of the house and take pictures. Without any tension.

Now more users have got selfie. Its popularity can be gauged in such a way that Oxford Dictionary in 2013 Word of the Year relaxed me. Smartphone manufacturers also have an idea of the importance of the front camera, only then they are presenting such products which have USP selfie feature. Launched recently Micromax canvas selfie And Infocus M530 Are part of this strategy.

Now the matter of Zenfone selfie device introduced by Asus. This device has a laser autofocus system which we Asus Zenfone 2 laser I was also seen in. The selfie device has a better front camera and is also better in terms of specification. Is there a matter of enticing selfie fans? We will try to know this.

Look and design
Asus Zenfone selfie smartphone The design of the Asus Zenfone 2 is based on the laser. A special type of size, circle pattern on the upper part of the device and volume rocker built on the rear, the device has been designed in such a way that it looks part of the Zenfone series.

The main difference in design is the unique color variants. Apart from this, the front camera of the selfie smartphone is bigger. It is built in the camera center and there are flash and earpieces on both sides. This phone has a hybrid-sim slot, ie SIM slot can be used as a microSD card slot. However, you will be able to use only one of the two. We have also said earlier that this feature limits you to a great extent.

Asus is a 5.5 -inch (1080×1920 pixels) screen sharp, bright and extremely details present in the Asus Zenfone selfie. This is excellent cases of viewing angles, sunlight lezibility and color reproduction.

Specification and software
Asus Zenfone Selfie uses Qualcomm Snapdrag 615 chipset, which is common for a device with less than Rs 15,000. The review unit we got has 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB inbuilt storage. Another variant of the device is available for Rs 15,999 which comes with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB of inbuilt storage.

At first glance, this device of Asus looks a bit expensive, especially when it is compared to a handset like U Eureka Plus which are available in less money than this. However, one thing should be noted that Asus is taking a premium camera technology money from you.

Asus zenfone selfie back ndtv
Other specifications are 4G support on both SIMs, Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection, microSD card (up to 64 GB) and 3000 mAh batteries. This device is not the top specification from anywhere, but is completely effective in daily use.

Like other asus devices, Zenfone selfie also comes with many blotware and asus tools. Third-party apps can be removed, but you will only be able to disable Asus’ apps and services.

Asus Zenfone Selfie Camera NDTV
Camera
Asus Zenfone Selfie has a 13 -megapixel front camera equipped with F/2.2 apercher and 88 degree wide angle view feature. The rear camera also has a 13 -megapixel camera. Its lens is F/2.0 an aperture and is present along the laser autofocus system. Both cameras have 5P largan lenses, Toshiba sensors, blue glass filters and dual-tone LED flash.

Asus Zenfone Selfie’s rear camera is the same as the camera of the Asus Zenfone 2 laser device and the performance is also the same. The pictures taken in indoor settings from the camera are good, but the outdoor shots are average that looks washed out in the daylight. Indoor shots and close shots are good due to Laizer autofocus and macro focus.

It is more likely that you also use the front camera to take selfies, so we kept testing limited to this. Photos came very sharp, details and vibrant. Color reproduction and low light performance was also good. Mainly the front camera is also lacking with rear cameras. Pictures are wash out and also have problems with white saturation. Generally, it is to be used for the picture of a person standing closely, so it is a great camera. The front flash is a beneficial feature.

The camera app of the device is similar to the app of Zenfone 2 laser and it has been designed well. Automatic mode, detailed manual mode, HDR, Panorama, Smart Remov, Slow Motion, Jif Animation and Time Laps are some of the features. These mode can also be used through front cameras. Apart from this, there is also an option of selfie Panorama.

Performance
Asus Zenfone selfie is a competent smartphone in terms of daily use and the credit goes to the Snapdragon 615 chipset present in the device. Help is also available from 3 GB of RAM, which is used to smooth the device. The interface runs without any shortage. Apps and games are easily loaded and there is no problem in running. The experience of playing Dead Trigger 2 game on this device was great. However, the battery ended very fast and the back of the device is slightly warm. Our test videos also run easily on it.

In the benchmark test, the results of the selfie smartphone were better than other devices with Snapdragon 615 processor. Anyway, you are paying the price of premium camera technology, in such a situation, its performance looks meaningful to a large extent.

Battery life is also good. Asus Zenfone selfie battery lasted 11 hours 28 minutes in our video loop test. It is slightly lower than Asus Zenfone 2 laser. The battery of this device easily lasts for a day. The selfie smartphone also performed well in terms of call quality.

Asus zenfone selfie openback ndtv
Our decision
Asus Zenfone selfie smartphone is a very much cheap and reliable handset whose performance is respectable and the software present in it is also satisfactory. It does not give a premium experience completely, but definitely reaches around it. It gives a good feeling in appearance and catching. Now Asus has also made an identity of his own and due to this he can increase his share in the market.

There are camera features in this phone that we usually get to see in premium smartphones. Features such as laser autofocus system, large front camera sensor and front dual tone flash are completely premium for a device for a price of less than Rs 20,000. It is not that there is no shortage in the camera, but you can expect great pictures from Asus Zenfone selfie.

If you are among those who use the camera of the smartphone, especially for taking your own pictures (selfie), then Zenfone selfie is a great option for you. It is a competent device whose rear and front camera is excellent. You will not be disappointed with this.

Micromax Canvas Express 2 Review: Another budget smartphone

0

In recent times, there has been a huge cut in the price of the smartphone. Today, handsets with good specifications are available at a price of less than Rs 10,000. Many famous smartphone maker companies are very serious about this segment. For this reason, there are many ‘value for money’ handsets for the user. The country’s leading smartphone manufacturer Micromax has also been presenting its strong davaderi in this segment.

Canvas Express 2 The smartphone is the latest budget handset of Micromax, which you will be able to buy exclusively from the e-commerce website Flipkart. This device, which is available for Rs 5,999, is one of the cheapest smartphones in Micromax. Direct collision of this device with great specification Carbon Titanium Mack Five ,Read review) It is from. We will try to know more about Express 2 in this review.

Micromax canvas xpress2 side ndtv
Look and design
Micromax Canvas Express 2 may be a budget device, but at first glance it does not seem cheap at all. The entire body is of plastic. Gold strip on the edge of the handset gives a feeling of metallic. Overall, the look is like a premium device. A 5 -inch screen, thin frame and slim profile makes the phone a compact and also easily usable. Weight is also low due to plastic body.

Volume rockers and power button remain on the right side of the handset. The speakers with MicroUSB port remain at the bottom and a 3.5 millimeter audio socket top. The design is very simple and elegant which goes in favor of Express 2.

The Micromax Canvas Express 2 has a 5 -inch 5 -inch 720×1280 pixel resolution display. Its color reproduction, brightness and sunlight lezibility are good. It is a device with the best display at this price.

Specification and software
In addition to a 5-inch 720 pixel screen, the device has a 2,500 mAh replaceable battery, 1.4 GHz octa-core mediatech MT 6592 M chipset, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB inbuilt storage, microSD card support (up to 32 GB) and dual-SIM connectivity.

Micromax Canvas Express 2 smartphone runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system. By the way, most Android smartphones with a range of Rs 10,000 in today’s date run on Android 5.0 Lollipop. Let us tell you that information has been given on the handset box that Canvas Express 2 can be upgraded to Android Lollipop. However, after examining the system update screen, we found that no updates are available at the moment.

Micromax canvas xpress2 bottom ndtv
The user interface is very simple, to a large extent like the stock version of Android KitKat. There are not much options for customization, but basic settings and controls are given. Keeping the price in mind, we found the user interface effective. It is expected that even those who buy this device will not be disappointed.

Micromax Canvas Express 2 has several apps already installed. The system also advertises in between, which is extremely disturbing. One good thing is that most of these apps can be deleted.

Micromax canvas xpress2 top ndtv
Camera
The Canvas Express 2 has a 13 -megapixel primary camera and a 2 -megapixel front camera. With this sensor, we expected a picture with good resolution, but found that the camera sensor has a huge lack of details and sharpness. At first glance, the pictures look good, but the camera deficiencies are exposed when zoom is exposed.

However, the camera performance on color and lighting is good. Pictures taken in outdoor usually showed a lack of noise and its white levels are also good. Because of this color washed out and overschurated. Photos taken in low light can be described as satisfactory. We should also keep in mind that it would be meaningless to have more expectations from the handset camera in this price range.

The handset’s camera app is very similar to Google’s popular camera app. For this reason most settings and mode appear on the screen. The complaint is only about the small viewfinder area.

Performance
Talking about the performance, Micromax Canvas Express 2 sometimes disappointed and sometimes happy. The device performed well in playing our test video and in the benchmark test, but the performance in daily use and gaming was not satisfactory. The user interface works a bit slow, the apps take more time to open and the smartphone is very slow during gaming. Games like Angry Birds 2 and Dead Trigger 2 did not run properly. Apart from this, while playing these games, the battery ended very quickly and the handset was also heated.

Micromax canvas xpress2 camera NDTV
The benchmark score came more than our expectation. In Antootu and Quadrant Tests, the smartphone got scores of 28,560 and 10,864 respectively. The GFX bench and 3 DIMark test scored 16fps and 6,365 respectively. The benchmark scores were satisfactory but there were many difficulties in using the handset which cannot be ignored.

There was no shortage in the basic function of the phone. Call quality, signal strength and Wi-Fi strength are good. The sound coming from the speaker was slightly lower than the fixed scale. The most disappointment was from the battery life of Express 2. The phone’s battery video loops lasted for only 6 hours 5 minutes and the daily use ended the battery power faster than expected. The battery of the phone could not last a full day, that too in the use of ordinary type. By the evening we needed charger.

Micromax Canvas XPRESS2 Sims NDTV
Our decision
Entry-level smartphone segment is an important market for any phone manufacturer. Micromax, Canvas Express is trying to register its presence through 2 smartphones. The device is good in appearance and compact too. Its use is very easy, that is, fit perfectly in terms of all basic needs. The specifications of the device are usually seen in more expensive devices. In such a situation, this is an attractive option for the buyer of budget smartphones.

However, when it is compared to the carbon titanium mock five, the deficiencies are clearly visible. The graphics based task has the biggest shortcomings of this smartphone to slow down the device’s poor performance and repeatedly in the apps and games. The camera is good on paper, but a little weak to take pictures with details. RAM and internal storage are low, which will also affect the common use of the device. There is no unique feature in the device. You say that it has no USP.

If you are looking for a simple entry-level smartphone that is good in appearance, then Micromax Canvas Express is a good option. If we do basic work, the device will do good work. However, if you want a little better device, then we would suggest that you think about the carbon titanium mock five or spend a little more money U euphoria Buy a smartphone.

Review of Asus Zenfone 2 laser (ZEE 550 kL)

0

Asus’s Zenfone 2 range is a bit misleading because there are many variants in this range. Due to separate chipset, RAM, display resolution and storage capacity, it becomes a little difficult to buy the phone. Before online purchases, you need to read specification and price properly. Old confusions are not over yet that Asus Launched the new models of Zenfone 2 in the market. We in this article Asus Zenfone 2 laser (ZEE 550 KL) Will review to

The device we are revinging has a 5.5 -inch 720 pixel resolution screen, Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor and 2 GB RAM. By the way, Snapdragon 615 processor and 3 GB RAM variants are also available in the market.

Your question will be what is special in the laser? This smartphone of Rs 9,999 has a laser-powered autofocus system, which does not appear on the subject area, fires a laser pattern and adjusts the focus. Theoretically, it will help focus rapidly and will also output the best photo. Does the same happen practically? In this review, we will try to know this.

Look and design
Asus Zenfone 2 laser (ZEE 550 kL) appearance Asus Zenfone 2 As it is. Both handsets have the same textures. Asus has also retained its concentric-circles pattern design in this device. If both the phones are kept together, then it becomes difficult to tell the difference.

There is no button or card slot on the side of the phone. Micro-USB port is placed in the bottom. Power buttons and 3.5mm ports are on top. Through the touch gesture given in the user interface, you can activate the device by double tapping and also launch a select app. Apart from turning on and off the device, you will not need power.

Asus-Zenfone2-Laser -chin-NDTV
Like Zenfone 2, the volume rocker in Zenfone 2 laser remains in the back of the device. We are satisfied with the display of this smartphone. It is quite sharp in terms of a budget device. Colors and brightness are also suitable.

The laser smartphone has dual-tone flash camera on the left side and laser on its right. The backpanel is removable. Battery is replysable and the SIM card slots remain below it. The laser has a hybrid sim slot and the storage of the device 16 GB. Low storage is slightly less likely to use dual-sim.

Asus zenfone2 laser flat ndtv
Specification and software
Asus has used Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset in Zenfone 2 laser (ZE550 L), removing his tradition. The variants we have reviewed have 2 GB of RAM with Snapdragon 410 processor. By the way, in addition to Snapdragon 615 chipset, 3 GB of RAM will be available in expensive variants. According to the processor, the laser appears slightly expensive. However, the price becomes worthwhile due to laser autofocus camera setup.

The rest of the specification includes 16 GB internal storage, 13 megapixel primary and 5 megapixel secondary camera, support for microSD cards up to 128 GB and 3000 mAh battery. Despite being a budget device, both SIMs support 4G.

Asus zenfone2 laser back ndtv
Asus Zenfone 2 laser runs on Android 5.0 operating system and Asus has used its Zen user interface on it. We are not fans of this user interface, but it does its work well.

Many things are liked in user interfaces, such as the option of better security and customization. You can launch the camera quickly, just double tap the volume button. You can also choose a gesture through which selected apps will be launched automatically, even if the device is in sleep mode. Jane UI has great options for customization.

Camera
Asus Zenfone 2 laser is named on the laser autofocus feature in its primary camera. On paper, the camera is far ahead of the rest of the smartphone’s other specifications. This type of camera setup is seen in high-end devices.

The performance of the camera in the appropriate light and indoor settings is good. However, it gives a washed out image in the daylight. It can be fixed to a great extent by using HDR mode or by focusing very closely, but it bothers some extent. The sharpness and details of the photo are suitable for a device priced below Rs 10,000.

Asus laser camerashot1 ndtv thumb
One thing to note is that the laser autofocus system is less effective in taking pictures in and open places. The reason for this is to have a small recording sensor. For this reason it becomes a bit difficult to take pictures of moving objects. It is so clear that Zenfone is more suitable for taking pictures less than 2 laser.

More information is recorded rapidly in short distance photos. The laser autofocus system works faster and also focus on the object. By the way, its laser system is a little faster than the usually upcoming autofocus system.

It is very easy to use the camera app. You get many options in this. It is very simple to reach most important settings. It contains many magnificent filters and modes including Time Laps, Deppth of Fields and Jiff images. Manual mode has many professional options. The most important drawback of the camera app is that you do not get the option to record videos from the front camera. It can be fixed through third party camera software.

Performance
The performance of the camera goes to the Asus Zenfone 2 laser’s favor. It is worth noting that the rest of the specifications of this smartphone are with an entry level smartphone, so expect them to perform basic performance. Despite this, we got a pleasant experience with the performance of the handset. Dead trigger 2 went very smooth. During this time there was no problem of the phone being hot or faster the battery. Our test video went on without any problem. By the way, it took some time while driving the app and unlocking the device. By the way, this deficiency will not bother the budget smartphone user.

Asus Zenfone2 Laser Speaker NDTVAsus Zenfone 2 laser benchmark test results are very much similar to Snapdragon 410 processor. By the way, a much better performance can be achieved in this price, but keep in mind that you are paying the price of premium camera technology.

The phone’s performance in the video loop test was good. The battery flower lasted for 14 hours after charging. Perhaps this was possible due to a 3000 mAh battery. In daily use, this phone will run slightly more than a day.

Our decision
Asus Zenfone 2 laser 2 laser is not visible due to laser autofocus technology. It is mainly a budget device whose specifications are also of average type, but due to great camera technology, this smartphone creates a distinct identity. In this price, you hardly get a camera phone giving the best performance.

Asus zenfone2 laser sims ndtv
Outdoor shooting, slightly weak performance compared to their rivals and taking a little longer to open the app, are the main drawbacks of Asus Zenfone 2 laser. However, using this phone makes a feeling of trust. When you need it, it will not fail. Apart from this, it is good in appearance, the build is good and also the best battery life.

Asus Zenfone 2 laser (ZE550 kL) probably gives the best camera performance in close environment at a price of less than Rs 10,000. If you are fond of photography, then this smartphone can be given a chance.

From starting in 2009, Karbonn has traveled a long way. This Bangalore company has launched many products so far and has submitted a strong claim in the budget smartphone segment.

Is the latest product of carbon Titanium Mac Five (Titanium machine five). The specifications of this budget smartphone available for Rs 5,999 are going to woo. A 5 -megapixel front camera with flash, besides the device, has an IR blaster and a 5 -inch HD screen. Will Mach Five be able to create a distinct identity in the budget segment due to these features? We will try to know this in the review of the handset.

Look and design
Despite being in the entry-level price segment, Karbonn Titanium Mach Five seems interesting. There is so much specialty in its design that it looks fresh. The phone is available in champagne, silver and blue-white color. There is a thick black strip around the screen. Three soft (keys) are made at the bottom of the screen. These are backlit but only look effective in darkness.

The rear panel of the device is detachable. Detachebells of power and volume are made on the panel. The 3.5mm audio port and IR blaster is made on the top of the device, while the micro-USB port at the bottom of the device. This device with a thickness of 7.3mm is neither thicker nor completely slim. Given the price, we have no complaint with the look and design of this phone.

The phone has a 2,200mAh battery and runs on Android 5.0 (Android 5.0) operating system.

The biggest rival of Mach Five is Motorola Moto E (Gen 2) (Review). Mach Five has defeated Moto E in terms of RAM, inbuilt storage, display size and resolution. Talking on paper, Mach Five appeals more in this price range than Moto E (Gen 2). However, a phone cannot be evaluated only on the basis of specification.

The user interface is very light and to a large extent like the stock version of Android Lollipop. Many games and apps on the device are already installed that can be removed. The Titanium Mach Five also has a Swiftkyy keyboard. Peel Smart Remote app is also present, so that IR blaster can be taken advantage of. After the initial problems, we managed to use the remote app and eye blaster with LG and Videocon TV present in our office. It did a good job. To a large extent like a normal remote.

Despite being very close to stock Android, Karbonn Titanium Mach Five does not have much control and customization option for the user. The biggest drawback is that the option to display the battery percentage on the status bar (it is not possible to do so through the third party app). The interface works well, but through this you cannot completely customize your phone according to your needs. It was very disappointed.

Camera
The Karbonn Titanium Mach Five has an 8 -megapixel rear and a 5 -megapixel front camera. Flash is also provided with both cameras. By the way, the front camera flash gives less light than the rear. The front camera works very well. Along with good selfie, it also takes fine pictures of low light. Camera software also did a good job on most occasions. And it also has some useful features. Shooting mode, filter, flash and camera switcher can be easily accessed. The sensor focuses rapidly.

Whenever we opened the camera app, we encountered the tutorial screen. Tabing on the back button closes the tutorial page and after that you can go to the page of your desire, but it was very disturbing. For this reason you are unable to take photos fast. However, we later came to know that once the entire tutorial is taken, it becomes disabled which takes about 30 seconds.

Karbonn Titanium Mach Five camerashot
Despite being a budget device, the performance of its camera was surprised in a pleasant way. The 8 -megapixel sensor took sharp and detail picture in regular light. Low lights saw a decrease in sharpness and color. Even after having a device of Rs 6,000, the performance of Karbonn Titanium Mach Five in the camera department is good.

Performance
The performance of Karbonn Titanium Mach Five was average in daily use. Interfaces and apps smooth. Mach Five got 20,084 and 9,380 points in AnTuTu and Quadrant Benchmark Tests respectively. GFXBench and 3DMark Tests scored 6.9fps and 2867 respectively, this is slightly lower.

Playing our test video Karbonn Titanium Mach Five Had the problem. The phone played the light video easily. Even though Mach Five has a 720p screen, its GPU is not suitable for tasks with more graphics.

Talking about speaker volume, call quality, reception and Wi-Fi strength, the performance in this department is similar to another budget smartphone. We have a complaint about the sensitivity of the touch of the phone, which sometimes read the swipe. Soft did not register the tap occasionally, due to which we could not handle the phone comfortably. This device is weak in terms of battery life. The battery video of Karbonn Titanium Mach Five lasted for 7 hours 36 minutes in the video loop test.

Karbonn-Titanium-Mach-Five-Box
Our decision
Despite the low price, the list of specifications of Karbonn Titanium Mach Five is very spectacular. Very few devices are available in the market with 2GB RAM, Android’s stock version experience and fine camera for just Rs 6,000. Apart from this, Titanium Mach Five also has front flash and an IR blaster, along with surprise look and HD screen.

The phone looks weak due to performance and software shortcomings. Customization options are not much and many such fine things are not available whose Android users have become accustomed. Software -related deficiencies can be corrected through firmware updates, but when they will come, nothing can be said.

This is a phone that is good in some cases and some bad in some cases. However, the Mach Five of Rs 5,999 will definitely appeal to the budget user who are looking for good cameras and beautiful displays. If your plan is to buy a budget device, then you can consider this smartphone.

OnePlus 2 Review: Permanent, but not reliable

0

OnePlus One (OnePlus One) touched new heights of success last year. The company which was not present 20 months ago, made an identity among the customers in such a short time. The company’s objective has been to make a ‘flagship killer’ device in which high-end specifications are present, but they get half the price from the flagship devices of other companies. The company has been successful in doing this to a great extent, at least paper.

The price of Google’s Nexus phone was instrumental behind the success of OnePlus One. Nexus 4 and Nexus 5 devices were considered to be of ‘Value for Money’ category, but it was not seen with Nexus 6. The price of this device was around Rs 50,000. In such a situation, OnePlus One managed to achieve the title of ‘Value for Money’ product. Apart from this, the company’s marketing strategy also led to its benefits. The most important was invoice system. There is no doubt that the company managed to create a long army of fans in a short time.

OnePlus 2 (OnePlus 2) aims to redeem the old success. Even though the cost of the latest smartphone is higher than the previous device, it has a lot to keep the people of specification happy. OnePlus 2 has been developed keeping in mind the technofiles, but features like microSD card slot, NFC and fast charging have also been removed. The inclusion of the second SIM card slot in the device is a great decision for a market like India, where there is no shortage of OnePlus fans.

OnePlus 2 The second major change is to be included in place of Cyanogenmod (Oxygen OS). Oxygen OS has a stock version of Android with some additional features. Although we have been a fan of customization options present in Cyanogen, it was not as stable on the One device as it was seen on the rest of the device. In this way, it is a pleasant change. Theoretically theoretically OnePlus 2 should have low software bugs. Is this in reality? Let’s know.

Design and display
In terms of design OnePlus 2 The same is similar to its old version, although the device looks new due to some small changes. The most unique feature of this smartphone is Standstone Black Finnish. If you had wooed you in terms of design, then you should also like OnePlus 2. If you do not like this, then you can buy back covers of Bamboo, Black Applicants, Kevalar and Rosewood variants which are available on the Amazon India website.

OnePlus 2 uses a metal frame and also has a removable back cover. The speaker grill at the bottom has been given a greater modern look as we have seen in Apple and Samsung’s new flagship devices. The new USB Type-C port also exists in the bottom. There is no branding in the back of the phone other than the logo of OnePlus. Alert slider is present on the left side. We will discuss it later.

The OnePlus 2 smartphone has a 5.5-inch full-HD display with a viewing angle. According to us, this is the most bright display ever. Colors are quite natural, they are seen with a little rude and dry. Although comparison of overschurated panels is more liked by such displays, some people may find it a bit sad.

Software and performance
OnePlus 2 smartphone comes with the company’s customized Rom Oxygen OS 2.0 which is basically the same as Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, but with some new features. The launcher of the device is similar to the recently launched Moto G (Gen. 3). We were very happy to be a fan of the stock version of Android. During the setup, you have the option to activate a feature called Shelf, after which it becomes your left-free home screen.

OnePlus says that the Shelf feature is a variety of experiments. It does not look very useful at this time. We like Google Now. If you want, you can download and install Google Now Launcher. Now it will be fun to see what kind of changes are seen in Shelf in the coming days.

OnePlus 2 has multiple users and guest mode. The smartphone also has an app permission manager feature which allows you to manage the resource permission of each app. We get to see this type of feature in Xiaomi’s smartphone. This is a great feature, because it gives you complete control of your smartphone. One thing must be kept in mind that using this feature will also affect the core functionality of many apps.

There are two hardware features of OnePlus 2 which are largely associated with software. These are fingerprint scanner and alert slider.

It is easy to use fingerprint scanner to unlock the device. By the way, if you want your fingerprint reader to go smoothly, then you keep cleaning it after a time interval. If you are able to see visible print above the button, then there is a possibility that you will have to try two or three times to log in in the phone. We have rarely faced this problem with the iPhone. On many occasions, the fingerprint scanner did not work at all. We had to unlock it by putting a PIN in the phone.

One plus 2 ndtv bottomNow talk about Alert Slider. This is a clever name given to a button through which you can switch between different profiles. If the lowest position is considered as general profile, within which you receive audio alert for notifications. If you take the slider in the middle, then you will get audio alert for important notifications. Now you have to decide which notifications are important. After sliding on the top, you will not get any audio alert. However, the notification will continue to appear on your screen.
OnePlus 2 Interruptions LED Settings
OnePlus 2 has a 64-fit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor and 4GB of RAM (RAM). As expected, there was no problem on this device in doing the work to be done commonly. It was very easy to swap between multitasking and different apps. We have never seen the review unit to slow down. Games like Asphalt 8 run very easily. However, we found that the device was very hot while playing the game for 20 consecutive minutes.

There are also some small shortcomings with this device. Some apps did not run and some sometimes crashed. Many times, when the calls were received, we could not see the anter or reject control over the lock screen notification. We had to unlock our phone, then choose the option of ‘Back to Call’ to answer the phone call. There was also a problem with the accelerometer. The video did not switch to landscape mode until we restarted the device. Once, cellular data stopped working. After taking all the measures for a few days, we had to reset the phone to the factory so that it could be used.

A shortage came out with the software update. When we booted the phone for the first time, we got the notification of update, but due to being on the slow internet connection, we decided not to install. We later realized that this was a big mistake because the message of updates was not found again. We also reset the factory to the device but that notification was not received. Although users can manually update the device, most users do not want to tamper with this functionality.

OnePlus 2 has a notification LED that can light up in different colors when different types of notifications come. The phone comes with swiftkey in default mode. It also has a Google keyboard. If you want, you can also install a third-party keyboard from Google Play.

As far as the call quality is concerned, the areas where the network was strong, OnePlus 2 did a good job. Its performance in the weak connectivity area was very poor.

Battery life and camera
Battery Life Cases OnePlus 2 gave two types of performance. The performance of the battery in our video loop test was average, while in the daily use. That too on 4G network. If our user is a pattern scale, then the battery should not have any problem in running for a day. We have recently met many batteries that give good results in the benchmark test, but not during use.

OnePlus 2 Sample Outdoor Shot Thumb
OnePlus 2 has a 13 -megapixel rear camera that takes pictures with great detail in good light. If you use Tap-to-Focus feature, the camera takes some time to focus on the object. The performance was also very good in low light. When it comes to the picture taken in the dark, OnePlus 2’s performance is also weaker than Apple’s flagship device.

The front camera is quite good. The camera app is very simple in terms of option. You also get support for slow motion video in this device, but despite having good light, these videos captured are quite dull. In the regular video, whenever you move the frame autofocus does not work as fast. The phone gets hot even after shooting a video in 1080p for a long time. A video of 4K resolution can also be shot from the device, but no more than 10 minutes of clip can be made at a time.

Overall, the camera of OnePlus 2 is not like Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge or not equal to the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. It is believed that the price of these devices is much higher, but when you have given yourself the title of ‘2016 flagship killer’, then there will be comparison.

Our decision
OnePlus 2 is better than its older version in many cases, but it also has some flaws that remind us of the old device. Battery life and software cases are very improved, but there is scope for further improvement in software. We hope that the company has also improved its quality process. We know about many users who had either complained to the screen of OnePlus One or they got the handset stopped working within a few months.

The company has also tried to remove most of these shortcomings. We know many such onePlus fans who like their phone very much, but there is no shortage of complainants. This is not good for the company. Sadly, we cannot know about such deficiencies through a review unit. We use a device for a maximum of two weeks. Therefore, it is a challenging task for us to suggest a handset to the user.

Should you buy OnePlus 2 or not? If you are looking for a dual-sim Android smartphone whose battery life is good and works on the stock version of Android. And if the price is around Rs 25,000, then we will suggest that you buy this device, but be ready to compromise with some flaws. If you liked one, whose age was more rough than the new device, then you will also like a new device. If you are one of those users who give more attention to the trust than ‘value for money’ and want a smartphone that is stable like a product of big companies, then OnePlus 2 smartphone is not in that league right now. Finally clean one thing, we can give a review of OnePlus 2 not invite.

Micromax’s Yu Yureka Plus Review in Hindi, Uraka Plus Review

0

In early 2015, Micromax launched the YU brand and along with smartphones. Although these devices are available online only, but come with excellent specifications at a low price. Till now, YU has been using it in its device, trusting the customization feature of CyanogenMod operating system. Ureka (Yureka) and Euphoria (YUPHORIA), both handset gives the option of customization and also a great specification at a low price. Both the devices have got tremendous success so far.

Yu is the third product of the brand Ureka plus (Yureka Plus). Its price is Rs 9,999 which is Rs 1,000 more than Yureka. The specification of the device has also been improved to make this increase meaningful. Full-HD screen and new camera sensors are major changes. We will tell you in detail what is special in Yureka Plus.

yu_yureka_plus_back_ndtv
Look and design
Yureka plus The handset gives the same feeling like Yu Yureka on appearance and keeping it in hands. If both the devices are kept with each other, it will be difficult to tell the difference. There is no harm in this because we liked the design of Yureka. The phone is beautiful in appearance and gives a good feeling when kept in hands.

Primary SIM and microSD slot can be accessed only after the battery is removed. There is no need to do this to use another SIM slot. There is a circle in the front panel that points to the home button. Whenever the screen is on, the three soft (key) of the three soft.

The screen of the new device is full-HD. Today, a screen of 1080p in a smartphone with a price below Rs 10,000 is not impossible. Yu has also shown a full-HD screen in its latest device, which works to increase value. The screen is sharp. By the way, its brightness is good inside the house, but it becomes a little weak as soon as it comes out. Nevertheless, it is much better than the screen of the rest of the smartphone of this price range.

Specification and software
Yureka plus There is a 16GB of inbuilt storage and 2GB of RAM (RAM) with Snapdragon 615 processor. Apart from this, the device supports 4G and has Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity feature. By the way, Yu Yureka was also launched with these features, which was a big thing for this range smartphone. But in today’s date, most devices are coming together with such specifications. Nevertheless, such a spectacular specification will also maintain his importance in the market for such a work price.

Yu has shown confidence in Cyanogen 12 OS for Yureka Plus which is based on Android 5.0.2 (Android 5.0.2). We are one of the fans of this operating system, as it has many such options of customization with the help of which you can setup the phone of your desire. This is a very fast and smooth working system that is good to use.

yu_yureka_plus_frontbottom_ndtv
The preloaded apps on the device are also useful. Audiofx is an audio equipment and controller, while Screencast allows you to record videos of the phone screen.

Camera
The second major change in Yureka Plus to Yureka Plus is of the camera sensor. The old Sony IMX135 sensor was used in Yureka, while the new IMX214 sensor in Yureka Plus. Although both devices have 13 megapixel sensors, better photography and videography can be expected than IMX214. It also includes support for HDR photos and videos.

The camera of Yureka Plus is good. It takes detailed and sharp photos. Colors are quite vibrant. To reduce the pictures, you have to zoom it on the desktop. However, the lack of quality of photographs in low light is clearly visible. The dark zones of the image are more blurred.

yu_yureka_plus_camerashot1_ndtv-635x476
The results of HDR mode were excellent. We generally preferred to shoot in HDR mode because its effect was very subtle but it was clearly visible to the eyes. The video was generally good and close up shot. Except for a low light problem, the camera of Yureka Plus is better than the old handset.

The camera app is user friendly. The Settings icon took a small portion of the screen. There are buttons for video, photo and Panorama shot. There is also a flash selector. Its design is excellent, due to which it becomes easier to use the camera.

yu_yureka_plus_camerashot2
Performance
Yu Yureka Plus appears a competent device in terms of performance. This is due to the powerful processor, strong specification and excellent operating system in the handset. Our test videos were easily loaded on the smartphone and there was no problem in walking. While using apps and games, the phone ran a lot. Sometimes graphics definitely fall slow.

The device scored 34,457 and 24,116 respectively on the antu and quadrant benchmark test, while the scores in GFXBench and 3DMark were 14fps and 5,477 respectively. These figures confirm that the performance of Yureka Plus is good. That is value for money.

The quality of the call and speaker was fine. There was no such major problem in the network. Despite having a high-government screen, Yureka Plus’s battery video lasted for 10 hours and 5 minutes in the video loop test. The battery on general use will easily run for 1 day.

yu_yureka_plus_box_ndtv
Our decision
When Yu Yureka was launched, it was a revolutionary attempt in a particular segment. This device showed us what could happen in a budget smartphone. Price war started with its launch. The consumer benefited from this. This device also told how important it is to have a good operating system in any smartphone. Now through Yu Yureka Plus, the company has tried to re -capitalize on all the best quality of its old handset. Some changes have also been made as well as the device looks new. If you are thinking of buying a range of Rs 10,000 range, then you can trust Yu Yureka Plus.

Lenovo K3 Note Review: Cost low, more benefits

0

Consumer benefits from the price war between mobile making companies. Lenovo has launched a new device in a range of Rs 10,000 which comes with a full-HD 1080p screen. 5.5 inch screen 3 notes of levo (Lenovo K3 Note) specifications are those which were part of a flagship device two years ago.

In terms of ‘value for money’, the company has changed the market game, but not in the strategy to sell handsets. K3 Note Limited number is available and it can be purchased only through flash cell. Just because of online availability, buyers cannot fully examine the new product. In such a situation, the image of the brand is the only support of the customer. It is a matter of luck that we got time to spend a lot of time with the review unit. Based on this, we will tell you about this handset and will also get the test results done.

lenovo_k3_note_corner_ndtv

Look and design
Most phones of this range come with a uniform look. Lenovo has also expressed confidence in this formula, due to which this handset does not leave its own mark. By the way, Stanley texture has been used on the rear panel of this handset. If you want something different, buy a black or yellow version instead of white.

It is not easy to use the three capable Android navigation buttons built under the screen. It is difficult to reach them with the same hand, and gray color has been used for the icon and there is no backlighting.

Lenovo_k3_note_Lowerfront_ndtv

Power and volume buttons remain on the right side. The 3.5mm audio socket and micro-USB port are ranked at the top. The left and bottom are completely empty, except a mic hole nothing here. The camera lens and dual LED flash are in a corner of the rear part. Apart from this, Mike Hole, Speaker Grill and a big Lenovo logo are also present. The battery is removable and you have to take it out to swap the SIM card. MicroSD slots are also present to increase storage.

Gives a good experience when the phone holds. 150 grams, there is no more weighty, but whenever you keep the phone in the pocket, then it will definitely feel its weight.

Lenovo_k3_Note_Side_ndtv

Specification
We are discussing a powerhouse device of Rs 10,000. As a processor, the phone has a MediaTek 6752 with 8 Arm Cortex-A53 courses and they all run at a speed of 1.7GHz. Mali-T760 MP2 is integrated for graphics. The device has 2GB of RAM (RAM) and its inbuilt storage is 16GB and along with 32GB of microSD card is also supported.

The device has a 5.5 -inch screen with a resolution of 1080×1920 pixels. In this case it is ahead of most of its rivals and Micromax Yu yureka plus Equal to It is clear that Lenovo seems to be beating everyone in terms of specification.

lenovo_k3_note_rear_ndtv

Lenovo has given a 13 -megapix rear camera that can record a video of 1080p. Dual-LED flash is no less than a high end phone feature in appearance. The front has a 5 -megapixel camera sensor.

Lenovo K3 Note There is support for the 2300mHz band used in India and it is applicable to both SIMs. The device also has Wi-Fi B/G/N, Bluetooth 4.1 and A-GPS. The device supports USB-TG storage and also has Dolby ATMOS audio innnesment.

Software
Lenovo K3 Note The Android 5.0 (Android 5.0) runs on the operating system, above which the company’s Vibeui skin has been used. The good thing is that Android’s style and functionality were not tampered with much. The company has also added some new features and functions. The main difference is that all the icons of all installed apps are present on the home page. There is no app drawer that most people will not like. Most Chinese companies are showing confidence in this approach.

Lenovo has given several preloaded apps with this handsset. The good thing is that more preloaded apps can also be removed. The Lenovo K3 Note has a Secure Zone feature that allows you to hide selected apps, files and notifications through a unique lock code. ULTIMATE POWER SAVER will disable all functions except mode calling and messaging. The company claims that through this, standby increases for several days. This can prove to be very effective during the emergency.

Lenovo_k3_note_top_ndtv

Through Smart Scene, you can decide at what time your phone becomes silent, goes into airplane mode, reduce brightness more or less, select separate data connections or launch an app. You can decide the time or change the Scene manually. You can set such a Scene in the device that becomes active as soon as it approaches a particular Wi-Fi access point. In this way your phone will be able to know when you are at home and when in the office.

Some interesting settings are also present in the device. You can activate the phone by double tapping on the screen. You can launch the apps directly through some special gestures.

Performance
We found that it was usually very easy to use Lenovo K3 Note and also soothing. By the way, it is not possible to use this device with just one thumb due to the big size screen. We did not have any other problem other than this. There was no lag even during multitasking. Heywali insured HD videos were easily played without any deficiency.

Lenovo_k3_note_front_ndtv

The results of the benchmark test suggest that K3 Note is a very powerful device. The device got the best 45,616 points in AnTuTu and 20,680 points on the Quadrant Test. We feared that the results of graphics did not come as good due to high-density screen. But we are glad that the device received a result of 15fps in GFXBench and 6,667 in 3DMark Ice Storm Extreme.

The phone screen is really fantastic. We are very happy with this device in terms of viewing angle, color reproduction and sharpness. It works well in outdoor. The sound coming from the rear speaker was quite loud. The effect of Dolby Atmos clearly showed the voice, although it was more effective in earphones.

Lenovo_k3_note_camsample_day2_ndtv
Lenovo_k3_note_camsample_night1_ndtv
Lenovo_k3_note_camsample_night2_ndtv

The camera sometimes disappointed and sometimes happy. The placement of the camera is in a corner of the rear part. Many times while taking photos, we found that our fingers used to come in front of the lens. For this reason, we had to hold the phone on its edge. The effect of lighting showed clearly on the photo taken from the camera. The photos taken during the rainy days were not as good as the photo taken in full light. When we reviewed the photo in full size, the lack of detailing was clearly reflected. However, the pictures on the phone’s screen looked great. Colors were usually good. Closeup shots came better than distant photos.

Voice calls were slightly dull, there was no special shortage. 4G data speed was a great experience. The life of the battery is good but not very spectacular. It lasted 8 hours 7 minutes on our video loop test.
Lenovo_k3_Note_Slots_ndtv

Our decision
Lenovo is really surprised by the power and finish of our new device. K3 Note is a great device in this price range. It is clear that the golden period of the budget smartphone is not over yet. Given the popularity of the big screen, we feel that most customers would like to buy this phone. We also hope that Lenovo will also launch a regular size version of this device in the coming time.

In front of K3 Note Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G (Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G) looks a little old and in terms of performance it is on a few occasions U ureka plus (Yu Yureka Plus) is better than. The truth is that it is very difficult to choose one between Yureka Plus and K3 Note. By the way Yureka Plus handsets run on Cyanogenos and Now Rs 1,000 cheaper Also, but we liked this product of Lenovo equally. Both devices are available in limited numbers and will be available through online flash cell, in such a situation, if you want, choose one. Both are a profitable deal.

Not specification, performance is more important

0

The smartphone industry has a specification of specification and technology press also has an important contribution in adding addiction. We are living in a world that is addicted to Octa-Core processor, 13 megapixel camera and many GB of RAM (RAM), but we do not give much time to important things. Especially the experience of using the phone daily.

The iPhone 6 has’ only ‘1GB RAM (RAM) with’ dual core processor ‘only’ dual core processor. The good thing is that most people do not take any decision about iPhone just by looking at specifications. Apple also never paid much attention to it. At the same time, the other manufacturer will continue to rotate things between “Price to Specs Ratio” and “Experience”. It will also depend on which device they are discussing about; Are they the leaders of their segment or are they involved in the race to reach there.

However, in the case of entry level smartphone, specification is everything for people. It is assumed that the customers of this segment are those who have no meaning with things like stability and user experience, only and only the specification of the phone.

We do not want to say that specification in a device is not important and it can be ignored. For a long time, the hardware of the entry -level smartphone was a bit weak. As of today, you can find such a smartphone in the range of Rs 10,000 which has specifications with a flagship device. In such a situation, it is absolutely justified to get excited of the consumer.

Sometimes this enthusiasm becomes a strange kind of stubbornness. In this affair, many people rely on Mi, YU and other ‘flagship killer’ devices because its specifications are of premium type. It does not matter how the experience of using them usually. On the other hand, those who compromise with device stability and specification for user experience do not get customers. The weak response to Android One smartphone launched last year is a great example of this type of behavior.

Lenovo (who is now the owner of Motorola), Xiaomi and Micromax’s growing customer base is praised for the exact reasons, but the reality is that these companies will still have to travel a long journey in the stability of the software, then they will be able to compare the stabilizing of companies like Apple, Motorola, HTC and Samsung. Some companies are using them as a beta tester by taking money from the customer. The cost of testing is left on this excuse, which is used to cut the price of the handset. At the same time, companies that focus on user experience, software stability and respect the user’s money and time, their devices look slightly expensive than others.

Moto_g_3rd_Gen_ndtv_01

Now talk of Moto G 3rd Gen. Compared to Lenovo K3 Note and Xiaomi Mi 4i, the specifications of Moto G 3rd Gen are slightly weak, but to be waterproof and excellent software experience is included in the features of this handset. We used Moto G 3rd Gen as a primary smartphone for about a week and found it a reliable device. Let’s know in detail about other aspects of the phone.

Design and display
The design of the Moto G 3rd Gen is such that it is completely the hallmark of Motorola, but this device also has some unique touch. This smartphone may not be able to draw the eyes of the crowd due to its look, but the feeling of keeping it in the hands is fantastic and does not seem weak in front of the expensive device. It has a texcharged finish on its backpanel which creates a great balance between design and functionality. It is good in appearance and produces so much friction on the hands that the phone is safely in your grip. The texcharged finish of the handset is not too much as we have seen in many more handsets.

Moto_g_3rd_Gen_ndtv_04

The backcover of the Moto G 3rd Gen can be removed, but the battery is completely sealed so that the device remains waterproof. This is the biggest feature of the device in this price. If you are going to buy a smartphone with your hard earned money, then we believe that a smartphone with waterproof feature is a more profitable deal instead of a device with full-HD display and octacore processor. Motorola claims that the Moto G 3rd Gen will be kept in 3 meters deep water for 30 minutes. This is enough as a remedy for safety during daily use. Water resistance is present in the phone, it does not mean that you keep it in your pocket and start swimming in depth.

During the time we spent with the Moto G 3rd Gen, it was realized that the phone is slightly ‘small’. We had to remind ourselves repeatedly that this is a 5-inch display device. It is possible that due to the habit of using big-screen smartphones, we felt so, or it could also be due to the magnificent screen-to-body ratio (ratio) of the device. Motorola has given a 720p display in the new Moto G device, which is not as sharp as other smartphones in this price range. It is not going to happen at all that you will start praising the screen.

However, there is also no pixels deficiency. The viewing angle of this display that comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection is good and we did not have any problem in seeing the screen in the bright light.

Moto_g_3rd_Gen_ndtv_06

Software, Performance and Battery Life
The Moto G 3rd Gen has a stock version of Android 5.1.1 (Android 5.1.1). This means that it is ahead of its rivals in terms of day-to-day performance. Some people like the Octa-Core processor, but we want stable and proclamation-free experience even if the device is running on a relatively weak hardware. Yu of Lenovo, Xiaomi and Micromax has often compromised on user experience for specifications, but this charge cannot be leveled on Motorola.

It should also be believed that the company has not taken any threat to using almost stock version of Android. Now when the consumers are happy with this, what is the need to change the hit formula? Due to stock android using stock android, the company keeps releasing the update of the operating system rapidly, sometimes Google’s Nexus device is also left behind in this case. If you always like to stay on the latest Android version, then this is another reason for you to buy this new smartphone of Motorola Family.

The Moto G 3rd Gen has a Moto Display feature. This feature was seen in Moto X (Gen. 2). Due to this feature, you will be able to see time and other notifications on the lock screen as well. For this, there is no need to bring the phone into active mode also. The smartphone knows when you raise it and without doing anything to you, it automatically provides information on the screen which is a great feature. However, sometimes the device looks over-covered due to this feature. Actually, while driving, we found that whenever the car was faced with small pits or stumbling on the road, the Moto Display became active on its own.

Moto_g_3rd_Gen_ndtv_05

We tested the 2GB RAM/ 16GB storage model (Rs 12,999). Knowing that there is a difference of only Rs 1,000 in both the variants of the device, the question is made as to why the model with 1GB RAM and 8GB storage was made? This variant is very less likely to get a customer. Our suggestion is also that you buy only 2GB RAM/16GB storage model. The Moto G 3rd GEN comes with 4G support on both SIM cards and we fully enjoyed data connectivity on Airtel’s 4G network. Call quality and loudspeaker performance is also satisfactory.

While playing a high-end graphics game like Asphalt 8, we did not realize any lack in performance and despite playing for a long time, the phone was not heated. However, when using 3G in the sunlight for a long time, we found that the screen was slightly hot and it could be a problem for many people. The settings of the phone state that it has USB OTG support, but we could not run our drive with Moto G 3rd GEN. Some quick gatherings have also been included in the smartphone, such as shaking the phone twice and turning on the flashlight switch or holding the phone twice by turning your wrists twice, the opening of the camera app, all these features can prove to be useful for some people.

The battery lasted for 10 and 46 minutes on a consecutive SD video plabec, which is average for handsets with Snapdragon 410 processor. If you stay out most of the time and keep using data continuously on 3G or 4G networks, then charging the Moto G 3rd Gen only once a day will not work. If you use Wi-Fi network in home and office and use cellular data only when you exit, then the battery will run easily a day.

Moto_g_3rd_Gen_ndtv_02

Camera
The camera app that comes with Moto G 3rd Gen is in autofocus mode in the default. This means that you can take a picture by tapping on the screen. You can also switch to focus and exposure control by going to the app settings. By doing this, a reticulation comes on the screen that you can slide and focus on a particular object. There is also a dial that can change the exposure settings by using it. It is welcome to include these new features. However, it does not work as easy as tap-to-focus style (you can use the third-party app if you want). The app also includes HDR mode. However, you cannot use it with focus and exposure control.

Talking about image quality, the Moto G 3rd takes pictures with great details in Gen outdoor and good light. However, the performance of the camera could be better in low light. The front camera is more than enough characteristics that will keep selfie’s fans happy.

Moto_g_3rd_Gen_sample_Shot-Thumb

The Moto G 3rd GEN can record the full-HD video and the slow motion video on 720p. Regular videos are fine in terms of quality, but despite being shot in the daylight, grains are clearly seen in slow-motion videos.
Moto_g_3rd_Gen_sample_Shot_HDR-Thumb

Our decision
If you are buying a smartphone to impress others, then Moto G 3rd Gen is not for you. There is no such specification in it, by telling you, you can rob the accolades. By the way, if you want, you can show your phone in front of friends by dropping it in a glass of water. Well, if we talk seriously, we are happy that the water resistance feature has been entered at this price point and the time has come to include this feature in all smartphones now.

This is not just a reason why we are suggesting to buy Moto G 3rd Gen. The camera and battery life did not disappoint. It is somewhat ahead in the case of stability and user experience and we also believe that every user is the first to have these two things.

Premium -looking phone in your budget

0

There is a strong competition in the budget smartphone segment. No brand wants to stay behind. In this segment, Xiaomi, Motorola, Yu Televentures, Micromax and many small companies are eyeing your money. Every other day a new smartphone is being introduced in the market.

In such a situation, how Lava Mobiles remained behind. The company has submitted its claim in this segment through its premium brand Zolo. The Xolo Black handset is available for Rs 12,999. This handset comes with many useful features such as dual rear cameras and front flash and also makes full efforts to show itself ‘premium’. Will Xolo Black be able to leave its mark in the market? Let’s know.

Xolo_black_back_ndtv

Look and design
The Xolo Black appears due to curved ange and matte finish metal frames like Sony Xperia Z3 (Sony Xperia Z3). Glass has been used in the body of Xolo Black. There is also a protection of Corning Gorilla Glass on the front and rear panels, which will help keep the handset scratch free. The front camera and the flash used with it are placed on both the top corners of the top. The backpanel has a dual-camera setup in addition to the branding of Xolo and Hive. Charging ports and speakers are ranked in the top and 3.5mm headset socket of the phone.

Xolo_black_sim_ndtv

SIM trays are on the left side of the phone and the power and volume button on the right side. The second SIM slot can also be used as a microSD card slot. The power button also works as a status light, which we found strange. By the way, at the price of Rs 12,999, the company has introduced an excellent build phone and it looks more premium than its rivals.

Xolo_black_powervolume_ndtv

Specification and software
The Xolo Black uses Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 (2nd GEN) processor, ie it supports 4G. The good thing is that it also has support for the 4G bands used in India. The 5.5-inch display of the handset is with full-HD resolution, which has a pixel density of 401ppi. The device has 2GB of RAM (RAM), 16GB of internal storage (support for microSD cards up to 32GB) and 3,200mAh lithium-polymer batteries. The rear camera setup has two sensors, primary camera of 13 megapixels and secondary 2 megapixels. The front camera is 5 megapixels. In the Xolo Black, the company has used its Hive UI, based on Android Lollipop 5.0.2 (Android Lollipop 5.0.2). Hive is an interesting UI, which has many features which are not present on the rest of the device of this price range. The app drawer is slightly different. In this, the app can be customized on the basis of alphabet, time at installation and app category.

xolo_black_hive_ndtv

However, Hive performs slightly slightly slow. Sometimes the screen is slow to load and its animations also take more time to completely load. By the way, it mostly works, so we do not complain much. The default hive lock screen is very bad, it does not appeal at all. The good thing is that it can be disabled. You can customize quick launch keys and display notifications. Overall, its user interface is much better than other manifactors. The user gets a multiple option of customization and many changes are also possible through settings.

Camera
The funny thing is that the dual-camera setup has been used in the rear panel of Xolo Black. This setup increases the speed of the autofocus and gives the option to refocus on different parts of the photo. The same dual-camera feature was present in the HTC One M8 device. The device does rapid autofocus, but not much. The Refocus feature also works well, but it is not much use. Optizoom and chromaflash feature is necessary. Optizoom task is to improve the zoom quality of photographs, but it is not as effective. Chromaflash is needed in taking two consecutive pictures, one with a flash and the other without him. After this, the software creates a single image by combining these frames, on which the effect of flash is low and the result image is more real. Its performance made us happy.

Xolo_black_Camerashot_ndtv

Camera works fine in sharp, details and vibrant pictures, but white colors look more bright. A 5 -megapixel front camera works standard and has its own flash. Selfie lovers will like this feature, as this flash will help in taking better selfies in low light. It would not be wrong to say that Xolo will be happy with the camera of Xolo Black, who is fond of taking regular photos.

Camera software is easy to use and it has all the features and mode that you expect from a smartphone. Two apps have been given for the camera, one with a normal mode, which has several filters. Second, the dual camera app which also uses 2 megapixel secondary camera together. We became a little confused while using both these apps according to our needs. It is expected that this deficiency will be overcome in the next version.

Xolo_black_dualcam_ndtv

Performance
The performance of Xolo Black is good. The device easily completes most of the tasks. Hive UI sometimes slows down, but it does not affect the performance of apps and games. Until we kept the phone with us, it never crashed. Voice quality was also good. The voice of the device’s headphones and speakers got good sound. It played mostly HD videos easily. However, with some file format problems with some. We also played the sonic runners game on the phone and found that there is no lag or performance problem anywhere. The phone has slowed down during multitasking, so we would suggest not to use more apps at one time. The display is full-HD, but it is a bit weak in terms of color and contrast.

Xolo Black scored 32,519 and 20,996 points in Antutu and Quadrant Tests respectively. We also ran the 3D Mark Ice Storm Extreme and GFXBench on the device, during which 5427 points and 14 FPS results were found respectively. The rest of the devices based on Snapdragon 615 have also given similar results. The battery lasted for 9 hours 41 minutes on our video loop test, which is slightly lower for a 3,200 mAh power device. The battery lasted easily for a day during normal use.

Our decision
Xolo Black is a smartphone with a better capacity than average, which does not cause any problem to use. It gives equal performance compared to the rest of its price range. It is also good to look at and there are some features that leave their different imprint.

Its dual rear camera setup, proper performance during front flash and photography gives a distinct identity to the device. We liked this phone and hope you will like it too. If you are looking for a phone that performs your work well and does not cost too much, then consider Xolo Black.

Emphasis on design, performance weak

By the time HTC launched the first phone of its forest edition, the company remained on top in the Android segment when HTC launched its first phone. Android handset with Matal Unibody, it was the only device that was the best as the iPhone in appearance and feel and it was also the primary competition of this product. Still there were some shortcomings, such as a low resolution ultrapexal camera, for this reason the handset did not get much success.

The company then launched new models, but could not repeat the appeal with original handset. Every time for some reason or the other, we could not praise the efforts of HTC wholeheartedly. Last year, HTC One (M8) was defeated due to unsatisfactory duo camera features and the rest of the variants could not become a praise character due to look and design.

HTC surprised everyone and introduced one M9+ in India before the One (M9) smartphone. Its screen is large, the processor is different, the fingerprint sensor and also the Duo camera feature, which was not included in the M9. If seen in this way, it is not necessary that this handset is better or worse than M9. We are also curious to know how the performance of this smartphone is.

Look and design
It was expected that we would see a handset like HTC One Max, which was excessive than necessary and had a plastic version of the original one, but it became clear that HTC had learned from its mistakes. One M9 +’s body is of metal and has a premium to-tone finish. It is available in gray, gold and silver-gold color and we found a unique silver-gold version for reviews.

Sadly, HTC has not used unibody style of its old handset. The M9+ appears in appearance as if someone has combined two different parts together. Where the front and rear parts are found, there is a rej, on which we cannot stop ourselves from turning fingers. The front of the review handset was perfectly dull silver, while in the back, there is brushed silver and gold color was used in side parts. We cannot say that we liked this look, but it is different, it is very showy. The remaining two variants are expected to be more popular.

The black glass in the front goes to the edge, but the screen is smaller than it because the black border remains at the end of the handset. HTC’s trademark boomsound speakers are made up and down. The front facing camera itself installs itself.

On one side of the phone is the Nano-Sim slot while on the other side there is a microSD card slot. Power and volume buttons are built on the right side. One is already all the buttons below normal, but HTC has placed the power button at the bottom for some reason. Its location is in a place where your thumb is not normally not or near the location around it, it is very annoying. Despite being a minor texture, we were repeatedly pressing the volume button. The good thing is that you can use fingerprint sensor to activate the phone with sleep mode. However, its placement is also very low.

Micro USB and 3.5mm audio ports are made at the bottom. Drark plastic strip has been used in the top, it is just a place in the entire phone where plastic has been used. This place is made a place for infrared emitter and antenna, so that the metal body can be communicated. There is nothing worth mentioning except two cameras and dual LED flash in the back of the phone.

HTC One M9+ is slightly strange to catch and the weight of 168 grams seems slightly unbeaten. Being curvy proves to be helpful, and at least it does not slip with hands like other phones. However, the phones are slightly more sharp. Pulling the thumb to reach the edge of the phone was a bit unconfirmed, there was a similar problem during the phone.

Specifications and software
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC used in One M9 has been used by HTC in M9+ MediaTek processor. The device has Helio X10 processor, it is also known as MT6795T. It has eight Arm Cortex-A53 core based on the 64-BIT Armv8 Instruction Set and integrated with it is Powervr G6200 GPU.

The diagonal edge of the screen is 5.2 inches in length and one m9 has a spectacular resolution of 1440x2560pixels in this handset as compared to 1080×1920 resolution of one M9’s 5 -inch screen. It has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage, which can be increased to 2TB via microSD card. However, as long as you use the phone, there is little hope of such a large capacity SD card to enter the market. Support is also available for USB-TG in the phone.

The phone also has support for dual-band Wi-Fi B/G/N/AC, Bluetooth 4.1, Infrared, NFC, GPS and FM radio. The 4G LTE also works on the 2300MHz band used in India. Creative 3D with 20 megapixel rear cameras is a suitable sensor for 3D effects, icing on the cake.

Ultrapixel sensor has returned to the front part. One thing that is not impressive is the battery of this phone, which has a simple 2840mAh capacity. The new version of HTC’s Sense UI has been used above Android 5.0.2 operating system. This does not look very different from the previous year’s version, but an attempt has been made to do something new, such as the themes app and more customization options. HTC has also integrated the alert about the suggestions of the location related app, Blinkfeed news items and events and deals. The phone has Scribble, Polaris Office 5, Peel Smart Remote, FUN FIT and many HTC apps, none of which are very disturbing.

Performance
We used HTC One M9+ for a long time but could not succeed in getting addicted to the fingerprint sensor. Its placement is strange and if your fingers are arrowed then it does not work properly. And we habitually kept trying to go to it, like it was a home button. The good thing is that HTC realized that this would happen, so in the active mode of the phone, the sensor has been mapped from the home.

The screen is good and crisp too. The color reproduction of the screen is excellent and the viewing angles are well, but it has a reflection problem. We did not have trouble running a video clip of 1080p, but we were eyeing the experience of boomsound. Like our predetermined handset One Max, there was a very loud voice from One M9+, we did not hear a loud voice in any smartphone. This speaker gave a great output from classical to electronic dance music number. The voice is a little thin and the distortion is clearly visible on the fastest volume, yet the performance of the handset in this case is much better than other phones.

One M9+ gave very good results in the benchmark test. Got 51,670 points in AnTuTu and 27,401 points in Quadrant Test, these results made it clear that the new processor of MediaTek is equal to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor used in Motorola Google Nexus 6.

htc_one_m9plus_slot_ndtv

However, the scores of the graphics were quite weak. The 3DMark Ice Storm Unlimited Test featured 12,300 figures, which is about half of the results of the Nexus 6. Apart from this, the result of 8,549 in the Ice Storm Extreme Test is equal to the results of the old phone of this price range.

We did not have any probalm during normal use, but we found that the phone became quite hot when the benchmarks and HD videos were pressurized. This happened for some time continuously on using the camera. The quality of phone calls was good, but the battery life was very disappointing. The battery lasted 5 hours 33 minutes in the video loop test. We expected that during normal use, the battery would run at least one day.

Camera
We were excited about how the performance of the Duo camera setup and front ultrapexal camera would be, and is HTC found the correct formula after many years of use? The camera app gives you the option to switch between duo mode and high-raise mode, while the Duo mode uses another sensor to capture the additional depth information for high-raise mode.

If we are clearly stated, we could not use the duo camera feature. One M9+ after taking a photo, gives you the option to change its focus point, through this you can blur the four of the photo or background. Apart from this, the camera app has interesting features like Faux 3D Shift Effect, Double Exposure, Shape and Pattern Overlage and two faces blowing face fusion. We got bad results in the use of every feature and some were of no use.

htc_one_m9plus_camsample_day2_day2_ndtv-thumb

High-rage mode also did not affect us much. In the 20 -megapixel resolution, One M9+ took average photos, there was a lot of compression in these photos. It was nice to see pictures taken from the camera in the daylight, but the deficiencies started appearing on transfer to the desktop monitor. As expected, the pictures taken in low light were even worse. In these pictures, a lot of noise and subject defense were also wrong. Despite the 1080p default recording, the output of the video was disappointing.

Our decision
HTC One M9+ has difficult challenges, especially from the Chinese phone that gives such specifications at half the price. The phone’s look will force people to turn around once and it gives a very solid feeling, but regrettably, this handset is not very good in any one feature. For example, Samsung Galaxy S6 and iPhone 6 will then beat this phone in almost every department. Nexus 6 and Motorola Moto Turbo are good options and also a low price OnePlus One.

HTC One M9+ looks good, but its appeal for us ends here. We were hoping that HTC would come out of its experimental phase and present a great handset, but it was not to happen. If the look is not the most important issue for you, then you have many more options.
