Ashok Didel, a resident of Roll village near Nagaur and a brilliant student since childhood, said, ‘I used to be stunned to see the lighting system of the house because I also saw the habit of not switching off the lights before sleeping and while going out. To avoid this wasteful consumption of electricity, the idea of ​​making a smart mode switch came. Ashok also told that it took him only two months to make such a switch. In fact, IIT Gandhi and Japan Advanced Institute of Science & Technology together have created a miracle. IIT Gandhinagar has done research and discovered a new anode material, which charges lithium ion batteries in minutes.

The 2D anode material is made using nano sheets derived from titanium diboride. It is a multi-stacked sandwich-like material, which is present between layers of metal atoms boron. On this, CNBC Awaaz correspondent Ketan Joshi had a special conversation with the head of the research team and found out how this happened.

This is how the miracle happened
IIT Gandhinagar Professor Kabir D’Souza said that currently the anode material of lithium ion battery is made from graphite. There are no holes on the graphite layer, due to which its charging takes time. The materials used to charge lithium batteries are commonly called anodes. But the anode material is made from diboride, which is capable of charging the battery in minutes.

With this new technology, every device can be charged in a few minutes, where it used to take hours. From mobiles to laptops, smart watches and electric cars, they will now take less time for charging.

New technology expected to arrive in India soon
Professor Kabir said that ‘We have sent proposals to some battery manufacturing companies for the manufacture of batteries. In future, such batteries will be manufactured in India itself which will be capable of being charged within minutes. These indigenous batteries will not only be used in India but can also be manufactured in other countries.

The company says that one can walk normally wearing this shoe and there is no need for hand control. This shoe has been invented by a company named Shift Robotics, which is a spin-off (subsidiary company of the university) of Carnegie Mellon University of the United States. They have a strap-on design that allows these moonwalkers to be used with any pair of shoes.

As the user walks faster or slower, it monitors the wearer’s gait using artificial intelligence sensors and the algorithm automatically matches the motor power, synchronizing the speed, increasing and decreasing it .

Shift Robotics claims its Moonwalker shoes increase the wearer’s walking speed by 250 percent, Gizmodo reports. He incubated his idea in 2021 from IIT Kanpur. IIT Kanpur has prepared this machine with the help of Internet of Things and Cloud Server. This machine can be operated from anywhere with the help of a mobile app. Apart from this, it can also be operated manually. The machine can not only be done on-off from mobile, but also cleaning the cooling level of cleaning and store Golgappe water.

Water fills with the help of sensor
The sensor has been used in the machine to fill water in Golgappe. Water starts filling as soon as Golgappa is taken under the machine. The machine automatically stops pouring water. The amount of water in Golgappe can also be set with the help of the app. Due to this neither one has to put hands in water nor waste water. The portable machine is worth three thousand rupees.
