In a move sure to spark more 2028 speculation, former Vice President Kamala Harris on Thursday relaunched her “Kamala HQ” social media presence used during her 2024 White House run as “an online organizing project for next-generation campaigning.”

Harris announced that the account, which has over five million followers on TikTok and over one million on X, is now being called “Headquarters,” and will be used as a “youth mobilization organization” ahead of this year’s midterm elections, in a partnership with the left-leaning group, People for the American Way.

According to a release obtained by Fox News, it’s a move to “mobilize pro-fairness, pro-democracy, young people against far-right extremism.” And Harris, in a video announcement, added, “I’m really excited about it. So stay engaged and I’ll see you out there.”

The move by Harris — who lost to President Donald Trump in the 2024 election after replacing then-President Joe Biden as the Democratic Party’s nominee three months earlier, after Biden ended his bid following a disastrous debate performance against Trump — comes amid mounting speculation that the former vice president is moving towards launching another White House bid.

A Democratic strategist in the former vice president’s political orbit told Fox News Digital that Harris “has always said that she’s going to continue to be involved and be a strong voice for Democrats as there’s so much to push back on from the damage Trump and Republicans are doing to this country. Her revived engagement on these platforms does that, and it adds another Democratic voice in the digisphere, which we need more of.”

“Plus, it keeps her options open for the future,” added the strategist, who asked to remain anonymous to speak more freely.

21 DEMOCRATS WHO MAY RUN FOR THE WHITE HOUSE IN 2028

Harris was mostly out of the headlines for a couple of months following the end of the Biden administration early last year. But she started stepping back into the political spotlight last spring and summer, including headlining Democratic National Committee fundraisers.

Her announcement last summer that she would pass on running for governor this year in her home state of California also increased speculation regarding a potential 2028 White House run.

And Harris, who hasn’t closed any doors to running again, is currently in the middle of the second leg of her book tour around her best-selling memoir “107 Days,” which was the length of her 2024 presidential campaign.

SUCCEEDING TRUMP IN 2028: SIX REPUBLICANS TO KEEP YOUR EYES ON

The Republican National Committee, in a sign they would welcome Harris becoming more politically engaged going forward, responded on X to her post with a thumbs up emoji.

Harris will be the chair emerita of Headquarters, in an honorary role, with some of the staff behind Kamala HQ reuniting on the new project. The former vice president will not have editorial control over the posts.

The Headquarters release noted,” Conservatives build permanent organizing infrastructure. Progressives have historically built machines that dismantle after Election Day. Headquarters is the end of that cycle.”

The Thursday morning announcement came hours after a short video which was posted on the account showed a person trying to unsuccessfully log on to the Kamala HQ account before using the correct password, “headquarters.”

Shahbaz government exposed… Open road show of Jaish terrorists in Pakistan, provocative slogans against India

Pakistan’s claims of controlling and eliminating anti-India terrorist organizations were exposed. Such pictures have emerged from Swabi district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Nawabshah district of Sindh province, which exposed Shehbaz Sharif in front of the whole world. At these places, global terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed took out anti-India rallies on the streets with their flags and terrorists. Not only this, the police of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Sindh province were seen giving security to these terrorists.

ABP News has exclusive pictures related to this rally. At the Charsadda district headquarters of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, more than 150 trained terrorists and commanders of Jaish-e-Mohammed were seen openly carrying the Jaish flag on the streets and taking out a rally with hundreds of motorcycles. Also in the video, the Jaish commander, while addressing his terrorists, raised slogans against India.

In more than 10 such videos from Charsadda in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province alone, Jaish tried to convey its terrorist message by holding a fake gun in the hand of a small child in its anti-India rally. The police of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, providing security to this rally of Jaish-e-Mohammed, were also captured in clear photographs. Shahbaz government exposed... Pakistan police remained engaged in protecting terrorists

Apart from Charsadda area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, Jaish-e-Mohammed also took out an anti-India rally in Topi city of Swabi district. Although in this rally, Jaish flags were not present in the hands of the terrorists like Charsadda, but the Jaish flag was placed on the speaker walking in front of the rally and this rally of Jaish was also being given security by Pakistan Police.

Every year on 5 February, Jaish-e-Mohammed used to openly hold such anti-India rally in Pakistan occupied Kashmir, but in August last year operation vermilion After this, this terrorist organization shifted its training camp and terrorists to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. Jaish had done this to protect itself from the eyes of India and today on February 5, evidence of this was also visible.

Road show of terrorists in Sindh province

Apart from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Jaish-e-Mohammed also took out a road show with its flags in Nawabshah city of Sindh province of Pakistan. Jaish terrorists are taking out a road show with hundreds of motorcycles in Mohini Bazaar of Nawabshah city of Sindh province. Nawabshah has become the new center of Jaish since November last year because Maulana Masood Azhar has been living in Jaish Jamia Khadija Ul Tooba located in Ghulam Rasool Colony of Nawabshah for the last 3 months to avoid the eyes of India.

Big allegation of Imran Khan’s party

This is the situation when Pakistan has included Jaish-e-Mohammed in the list of banned terrorist organizations since January 14, 2002 to show it to the world. Not only this, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province imran khan The party is headed by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and its current Chief Minister Sohail Afridi and former Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur themselves have alleged many times that ISI and the Army are settling terrorists in the province.

Today, the way the police of the province ruled by Sohail Afridi itself was seen giving security to the terrorists carrying the flag of Jaish-e-Mohammed. It is clear from this that in Pakistan, whether Nawaz Sharif’s party Pakistan Muslim League or Imran Khan’s party PTI or Bilawal Bhutto’s Pakistan Peoples Party, all are standing with anti-India terrorists and are making every effort to keep them safe.

US envoy shuns Polish parliament speaker over Trump remarks | Donald Trump News

US Ambassador Tom Rose says: ‘We will not permit anyone to harm US-Polish relations, nor disrespect’ President Trump.

The United States embassy in Poland says it is breaking off contact with the country’s parliamentary speaker over what it calls “outrageous” insults directed at President Donald Trump.

US Ambassador to Poland Tom Rose said on Thursday that the decision to end all dealings with Wlodzimierz Czarzasty would take effect “immediately”.

This week, Czarzasty said Trump does not deserve the Nobel Peace Prize he has long sought and slammed the US president’s “policy of force” in international affairs. He pointed to Trump’s tariffs on European countries, threats to seize Greenland and claims that NATO allies had stayed off the front lines during the war in Afghanistan.

“This is a breach of the politics of principles and values, often a breach of international law,” Czarzasty told reporters.

Rose said Czarzasty’s comments were “outrageous and unprovoked” and undermined otherwise strong US-Polish ties.

“We will not permit anyone to harm US-Polish relations nor disrespect [Trump], who has done so much for Poland and the Polish people,” Rose wrote on X.

Czarzasty was defiant after the rebuke, saying that while he “respects” the US as an ally, he stands by his view that Trump is undeserving of the world’s top peace prize.

Writing on X, Czarzasty said: “I continue to respect the United States as a key partner of Poland. Therefore, I regret Ambassador Tom Rose’s declaration, but I will not change my position on these fundamental issues for Polish women and men.”

This is not the first time Czarzasty has publicly criticised Trump.

In late January, Czarzasty joined other high-ranking Polish politicians in rebuking Trump’s comments that the US “never needed” NATO allies.

Forty-three Polish soldiers and one civil servant died as part of the US-led NATO coalition fighting in Afghanistan.

Czarzasty heads Poland’s New Left party, which is part of Prime Minister Donald Tusk’s pro-European governing coalition, which also includes nationalist President Karol Nawrocki, a vocal supporter of Trump.

Federal lines Minnesota protesters may be crossing — and consequences

0

NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles!

Federal prosecutors have charged more than 150 anti-ICE protesters in Minnesota with crimes ranging from obstruction of federal agents to FACE Act violations — offenses that carry penalties from fines to years in prison — as the Justice Department warns that similar conduct will be prosecuted aggressively nationwide.

The response in the state offers a roadmap of sorts for how the Justice Department could move to quash similar protests nationwide and respond to unrest during Trump’s second presidential term.

In Minnesota, more than 150 protesters have been arrested since the start of the Trump administration’s immigration enforcement operation, “Operation Metro Surge,” including protesters who interrupted a church service, and others who blocked, assaulted, or attempted to otherwise restrict ICE officers in the state. The administration’s response to these protests could prove telling as it moves to deploy ICE officers to other states in the weeks and months ahead.

These individuals have been charged with FACE Act violations, conspiracy charges, and obstruction of federal agents, according to copies of criminal complaints and indictments reviewed by Fox News Digital. Convictions on any of these charges range from fines to years in prison, in a sign of the administration’s plans to crack down on similar protest tactics in other states.

“We expect more arrests to come,” Attorney General Pam Bondi said on social media last week.

In fact, individuals need not look much further than indictments the Justice Department has already secured against certain individuals as an indication of the behavior and actions it may seek to prosecute.

Bondi last week announced the arrests of 16 Minnesota protesters for “allegedly assaulting federal law enforcement — people who have been resisting and impeding our federal law enforcement agents.”  According to a criminal complaint published by the Justice Department, the alleged actions include the use of multiple vehicles to “box in” federal immigration officers; spitting on ICE officers during an arrest; attempting to throw a brick at an ICE officer; and other obstructive and violent actions.

One individual allegedly followed Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agents in his van before approaching their vehicle with a baseball bat in hand.

Bondi said the 16 individuals in question have been charged with violating 18 U.S.C. § 111, which punishes any individual who “forcibly assaults, resists, opposes, impedes, intimidates or interferes” with officials engaged in carrying out their official duties.

Penalties for a conviction on the charge range from one year in prison to up to 20 years, depending on additional factors — including the involvement of a potentially dangerous weapon and whether bodily injuries were suffered. If additional violations are tacked on, the cases could carry longer sentences.

The Justice Department separately announced charges against nine individuals — including two journalists — last week for allegedly participating in the anti-ICE protest at Cities Church in St. Paul, Minnesota.

The individuals were seen in video chanting “ICE out,” and interrupting the service, as Fox News Digital previously reported. They were indicted on charges of allegedly conspiring to violate someone’s constitutional rights and FACE Act violations.

The FACE Act, passed in 1994, is a federal law that prohibits the use of force, intimidation, or obstruction to deliberately “injure, intimidate, or interfere” with an individual’s ability to exercise their right to religious freedom at a place of worship.

FACE Act violations carry penalties ranging from fines to prison time, depending on the severity of the violation alleged and other contributing factors.

Senior Trump administration officials have warned anti-ICE protesters against obstructing or otherwise interfering with federal immigration officers, noting that they would not hesitate to pursue criminal charges against others found to be engaging in illegal behavior.

“I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: NOTHING will stop President Trump and this Department of Justice from enforcing the law,” Bondi said last week.

In addition to the indictments already secured, the Justice Department could crack down on a wide range of behavior by anti-ICE protesters, including behavior documented by reporters and on social media, such as blocking ICE access to certain roadways, demanding that officers share identifying information before entering certain areas, or attempting to surveil, track, or share information about the movements of federal officers with members of the public.

“People need to understand their actions have consequences and that obstruction, assault and impeding are not protected under the disguise of protesting,” John Condon, the acting director of Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), said in a statement.

The warnings come as Minnesota has emerged in recent weeks as a flashpoint for immigration protests in response to the administration’s “Operation Metro Surge,” which saw the deployment of some 3,000 ICE officers to the state.

Tensions there soared to a new fever pitch last month following the fatal shootings of Renee Good and Alex Pretti, who were killed in separate confrontations with federal immigration officers. Homan said Wednesday that the Trump administration will remove 700 immigration enforcement officers from Minnesota, though he stressed the reduction is contingent on the lawfulness of anti-ICE protesters. An estimated 2,000 ICE officers will remain in the state for now.

“Protest but stop impeding, stop interfering, stop violating the law — because we will arrest you,” White House border czar Tom Homan said Wednesday.

After Saudi Arabia, this Muslim country gave big relaxation to women, now they can ride bikes

0

After Saudi Arabia, now Muslim country Iran has also given big relaxation to women. The Shia Muslim-majority country has allowed women to formally obtain a license to drive motorcycles. With this decision of the Khamenei administration, the controversies regarding the law regarding women that had been going on for years have now ended.

Previous legislation in Iran did not explicitly prohibit women from driving motorcycles and scooters, but in practice officials refused to issue licenses. Because of this legal ambiguity, women were held legally responsible for accidents even if they were victims.

Vice President signed signature

According to news agency ILNA, Iran’s First Vice President Mohammad Reza Arif on Tuesday signed a resolution aimed at clarifying the traffic code, which was approved by Iran’s Cabinet in late January. According to this, under this proposal it is mandatory for the traffic police to ‘provide practical training to women applicants, conduct an examination under the direct supervision of the police and issue motorcycle driver licenses to women’.

Changes after protests in Iran

The change comes after a wave of protests in Iran, which were initially sparked by economic grievances but turned into nationwide anti-government demonstrations last month. Tehran has acknowledged that more than 3,000 people died during the unrest.

Saudi also gave a lot of relaxation to women

Before Iran, Saudi Arabia has given historic concessions to women under ‘Vision 2030’, which mainly include permission to drive, travel without a male guardian (Mahram), perform Hajj/Umrah and passport/citizenship rights. Apart from this, women have been given relaxation in dress code, freedom to participate in workforce and go to cinema/sports events.

Most SAP migrations bust budgets and deadlines, study finds • The Register

0

Nearly 60 percent of SAP migration projects are delayed and over budget as organizations underestimate complexity, allow expansion of scope, and fail to understand internal constraints, according to research from ISG.

The survey of 200 senior decision-makers in large global companies also found that fewer than one in five organizations reimplement SAP processes and technology when they move to the latest platform, S/4HANA.

Nearly half (49 percent) carry out little or no re-engineering, choosing instead to preserve legacy processes and data.

The research comes as SAP users face the support deadline for ECC, the legacy ERP platform still used by thousands of the world’s largest businesses. By the end of 2027, mainstream support is stopping while extended support at a 2 percent premium will be available until the end of 2030. SAP has also discussed another support option beyond 2030 so long as customers sign up to its migration commercials ahead of that date.

Gartner data shows 39 percent of SAP’s 35,000 ECC customers worldwide had yet to migrate as of Q4 2024, nearly a decade after S/4HANA launched in 2015.

Yet the majority of the largest organizations are still failing to stick to budgets and timelines with migration to S/4HANA.

Michael Dornan, ISG principal analyst, said even simply moving their current processes to a new platform, organizations struggled with making a plan and sticking to it.

“Some of them are trying to do this quickly, a lift-and-shift as fast and cheap as possible. This group often underestimated the complexity, scope and the constraints they have. They also suffer from scope creep and changing requirements as they go through. A lot of the delays are caused by people, not necessarily the technology.”

According to the research, 34 percent of organizations were opting for “brownfield” migrations. Eighteen percent wanted to adopt a greenfield strategy, embracing standard processes in SAP’s preferred “clean core” approach. Nearly half, however, were mixing the two approaches, so-called “bluefield.” A muddy field, The Register might suggest.

Dornan said more than half the survey respondents agreed they had over-customized legacy ERP to the point where standardization now feels risky to the business.

“That’s the fear they go through. If you standardize, then you just start that whole process again. There are a lot of stakeholders in the business that actually felt that their old ERP was doing the job that they wanted to, which creates inertia,” he said.

The report states that brownfield and hybrid approaches might limit long-term benefits and make it more difficult to adopt newer technologies such as AI.

“Fragmented processes, extensive customizations, and legacy data structures often constrain which AI use cases can be effectively deployed after go-live. By contrast, environments with standardized processes and well-governed data are better positioned to realize the automation, forecasting, and operational efficiency gains enterprises expect.”

However, businesses are carefully weighing up the risks and refusing to be dictated by the vendors’ timelines.

Of the total sample of SAP ERP users, eight percent planned to stay on ECC beyond 2027 while around two-thirds were still in the planning stage for migration, making it unlikely they would make the cutoff for mainstream support.

The trend is borne out elsewhere. Airbus, for example, currently runs a patchwork of SAP versions, including legacy SAP R/3 4.6 and ECC 6.0 systems. While some divisions – finance, materials management, and parts of Airbus Helicopters – have already moved to S/4HANA, the bulk of the migration lies ahead. The company told The Register it may not be finished by 2030.

Like thousands of other SAP users, it is trying to find the right balance between the risks of changing and the risks of staying the same. ®
