Michael Irvin predicts Cowboys will play in next year’s Super Bowl

Ever since their Super Bowl victories in the 1990s, the Dallas Cowboys have been the practical definition of mediocre.

The team has yet to make it to an NFC championship game since it won the 1996 Super Bowl three decades ago, but the top receiver from that team, Michael Irvin, sees the vision.

Irvin told Fox News Digital on radio row in San Francisco he recently had dinner with soon-to-be second-year head coach Brian Schottenheimer, and he “love[s] the direction Coach is going in.”

“I love what he’s done with the offense, ’cause we found the offense. Now, we just got to solidify and make sure it gets more consistent. And being able to put up 30, 35 points a game,” Irvin said of the star-studded group that includes Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb, George Pickens and Javonte Williams.

The defense was the clear weakness throughout this season, but Irvin doesn’t want anyone sleeping on them.

“Now, with Quinnen Williams and Kenny Clark up the middle, dude, we got a force coming up the middle of the field. We gotta solidify that defense,” Irvin said.

Then came a bold prediction.

“The Cowboys can be in this game next year. We could be sitting here talking about the Cowboys in this game next year, and I want you to find me and make sure you say to me, ‘You said this. You said, Michael, you said, they could be here.’

“They will be here. I want you to find me.”

Cowboys fans daring enough to ride along with Irvin can do it on Hard Rock Bet, which has had a long-standing relationship with the Hall of Famer.

”It’s home, it’s Florida. I’m from Florida. You look back. I’ve had such a great friendship and alignment with them for so long. I did my Hall of Fame party at the Hard Rock, and, of course, Miami plays at the Hard Rock, so I’m always there with them. There’s a natural partnership,” Irvin said.

The revenge is complete! Strong Israeli attack in Gaza, two senior Hamas commanders killed

0

IDF Operation: Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has claimed to have achieved an important success as part of the ongoing campaign against Hamas in the Gaza Strip. The Israeli Army and internal security agency Shin Bet (ISA) have killed Muhammad Issam Hassan al-Habil, the head of Hamas’s operating cell, in a joint operation. According to Israel, al-Habil was the same terrorist who was involved in the murder of IDF surveillance soldier Corporal Noah Marciano.

The IDF says that this action was taken after the ceasefire violation by Hamas. According to the army, al-Habil was one of the key conspirators of the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7, 2023. During the same attack, Noah Marciano was abducted from the Nahal Oz military post and was later confirmed dead, sparking outrage across Israel.

israeli army According to , on February 4, an airstrike was carried out in the Shati refugee camp in Gaza City, in which al-Habil was killed and Ali Raziana of Islamic Jihad was also killed. Raziana was the main commander of Islamic Jihad in the Northern Gaza Brigade. According to the IDF, al-Habil came on the army’s radar when an Israeli reserve officer was fired upon, seriously wounding him.

The Israeli Army has confirmed this action on social media and said that this operation has provided justice to Noah Marciano’s family. It was also said that those who commit violence against civilians and soldiers will not be spared at any cost.

UN warns of humanitarian collapse in Cuba as US seeks to block oil supplies | Donald Trump News

0

Warning comes as US threatens tariffs on any country that supplies oil to the Caribbean island.

United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has warned of a humanitarian “collapse” in Cuba if its energy needs go unmet after the United States moved to block all oil from reaching the Caribbean island and threatened tariffs on any nations that step in to help.

The warning on Wednesday came amid a severe fuel shortage in Cuba that has prompted hours of blackouts, even in the capital Havana, as well as a surge in prices for food and transportation.

Stephane Dujarric, a spokesman for Guterres, told reporters in New York that the UN chief was “extremely concerned about the humanitarian situation in Cuba”, which he said will “worsen if not collapse, if its oil needs go unmet”.

Dujarric also noted that for more than three decades, the UN General Assembly, too, has consistently called for an end to the trade embargo imposed by the US on Cuba.

“The secretary-general urges all parties to pursue dialogue and respect for international law,” he added.

The US and Cuba have been foes since the Cuban revolution of 1959, when Fidel Castro took power, and his socialist government nationalised US-owned businesses. Washington responded with economic sanctions that were tightened into a full embargo in 1962.

The Caribbean island has long been in the grip of an economic crisis and had relied on Venezuela for its oil until US forces abducted Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro in a raid on his residence in Caracas last month.

US President Donald Trump subsequently claimed control of Venezuelan oil and promised to starve Cuba of the commodity. He has labelled Cuba “an unusual and extraordinary threat” to the US, and said he wants to “make a deal” with Cuba’s leadership, without saying what an agreement might look like.

Trump has also threatened tariffs on any other nation stepping in to help, prompting worry in Mexico, which is currently the island’s main supplier of oil.

Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum said on Tuesday that her country was using all diplomatic avenues to ensure crude shipments to Cuba. She, too, warned of a humanitarian crisis in Cuba but said she did not want to put her own country “at risk in terms of tariffs”.

“We’re looking at the scope” of Trump’s threatened tariffs, “and we’re using all diplomatic channels”, she told reporters.

Sheinbaum added that Mexico would send humanitarian aid to Cuba this week and was seeking an agreement with Washington that would allow it to also send oil. “There is still no agreement on this,” she said.

Cuba’s President Miguel Diaz-Canel slammed Trump’s tariff threat last week, saying the US leader was planning “to suffocate” Cuba’s economy under a “false and baseless pretext”. The country also declared an “international emergency” saying Trump’s move constitutes “an unusual and extraordinary threat”.

According to The Financial Times, Mexico supplied some 44 percent of Cuba’s oil imports, and Venezuela supplied 33 percent until last month. About 10 percent is also sourced from Russia and a smaller amount from Algeria, it said.

The British newspaper also cited the Kpler data company as reporting on January 30 that Cuba only has enough oil to last 15 to 20 days at current levels of demand.

The US embassy in Cuba, meanwhile, warned Americans in the country on Tuesday to prepare for “significant disruption” from power outages and fuel shortages.

Cuba’s Deputy Foreign Minister Carlos Fernandez de Cossio told ‍the Reuters news agency on Monday that Cuba and the US are in communication, although he noted the exchanges have not evolved into formal “dialogue”.

Ellen DeGeneres ditches English farm for California lifestyle with $27M mansion

Ellen DeGeneres is “California Dreamin'” more than one year after ditching the states for a farm in the English countryside.

While the former talk show host recently purchased a $27 million mansion in her beloved Montecito community with wife Portia de Rossi, they likely won’t be staying for long.

A source told Fox News Digital the couple wanted to spend the winter in Montecito and that their move back to Southern California is “temporary.”

“Ellen and Portia love the Cotswolds and can’t wait to return to England,” the insider said.

The couple has been “missing the California weather and horse scene” since their relocation across the pond, a source told People magazine, adding, “Portia loves polo and her horses.”

Cotswold locals told the publication they hadn’t seen DeGeneres “in ages.” Another source said the comedian was once frequently spotted around town over the summer but hasn’t been seen since.

“She always looked friendly, but nobody ever approached her. And it was just another celeb to them,” the insider added.

“We got here the day before the election and woke up to lots of texts from our friends with crying emojis, and I was like, ‘He got in’,” she told broadcaster Richard Bacon during her first U.K. appearance since moving, per the BBC. “And we’re like, ‘We’re staying here.'”

She’s remained relatively private about her new life in the English countryside but keeps fans updated about farm living on social media.

“It’s absolutely beautiful,” she said. “We’re just not used to seeing this kind of beauty. The villages and the towns and the architecture — everything you see is charming, and it’s just a simpler way of life. It’s clean. Everything here is just better — the way animals are treated, people are polite. I just love it here.”

The former talk show host added, “We moved here in November, which was not the ideal time, but I saw snow for the first time in my life. We love it here. Portia flew her horses here, and I have chickens. And we had sheep for about two weeks.”

“I’ve never really known Ellen to say anything political in her life, so I was surprised to read that she left because of President Trump. Like, that shocked me, actually,” O’Donnell told Us Weekly. “I’ve been a political person my whole life, not better or worse, it’s just a different way to be in the world.

“I was very clear about the reason why I was leaving, and I don’t think it came as a surprise to anyone. We’re not really in each other’s worlds, and it’s been kind of awkward, but you know what? I wish her the best. I wish that she has peace and love in her life and that she is OK.”

Two Ivanti EPMM Zero-Day RCE Flaws Actively Exploited, Security Updates Released

0

Ravie LakshmananJan 30, 2026Vulnerability / Enterprise Security

Ivanti has rolled out security updates to address two security flaws impacting Ivanti Endpoint Manager Mobile (EPMM) that have been exploited in zero-day attacks, one of which has been added by the U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) to its Known Exploited Vulnerabilities (KEV) catalog.

The critical-severity vulnerabilities are listed below –

  • CVE-2026-1281 (CVSS score: 9.8) – A code injection allowing attackers to achieve unauthenticated remote code execution
  • CVE-2026-1340 (CVSS score: 9.8) – A code injection allowing attackers to achieve unauthenticated remote code execution

They affect the following versions –

  • EPMM 12.5.0.0 and prior, 12.6.0.0 and prior, and 12.7.0.0 and prior (Fixed in RPM 12.x.0.x)
  • EPMM 12.5.1.0 and prior and 12.6.1.0 and prior (Fixed in RPM 12.x.1.x)

However, it bears noting that the RPM patch does not survive a version upgrade and must be reapplied if the appliance is upgraded to a new version. The vulnerabilities will be permanently addressed in EPMM version 12.8.0.0, which will be released later in Q1 2026.

“We are aware of a very limited number of customers whose solution has been exploited at the time of disclosure,” Ivanti said in an advisory, adding it does not have enough information about the threat actor tactics to provide “reliable atomic indicators.”

The company noted that CVE-2026-1281 and CVE-2026-1340 affect the In-House Application Distribution and the Android File Transfer Configuration features. These shortcomings do not affect other products, including Ivanti Neurons for MDM, Ivanti Endpoint Manager (EPM), or Ivanti Sentry.

In a technical analysis, Ivanti said it has typically seen two forms of persistence based on prior attacks targeting older vulnerabilities in EPMM. This includes deploying web shells and reverse shells for setting up persistence on the compromised appliances.

“Successful exploitation of the EPMM appliance will enable arbitrary code execution on the appliance,” Ivanti noted. “Aside from lateral movement to the connected environment, EPMM also contains sensitive information about devices managed by the appliance.”

Users are advised to check the Apache access log at “/var/log/httpd/https-access_log” to look for signs of attempted or successful exploitation using the below regular expression (regex) pattern –

^(?!127\.0\.0\.1:\d+
.*$).*?\/mifs\/c\/(aft|app)store\/fob\/.*?404

“Legitimate use of these capabilities will result in 200 HTTP response codes in the Apache access log, whereas successful or attempted exploitation will cause 404 HTTP response codes,” it explained.

In addition, customers are being asked to review the following to look for any evidence of unauthorized configuration changes –

  • EPMM administrators for new or recently changed administrators
  • Authentication configuration, including SSO and LDAP settings
  • New push applications for mobile devices
  • Configuration changes to applications you push to devices, including in-house applications
  • New or recently modified policies
  • Network configuration changes, including any network configuration or VPN configuration you push to mobile devices

In the event signs of compromise are detected, Ivanti is also urging users to restore the EPMM device from a known good backup or build a replacement EPMM and then migrate data to the device. Once the steps are performed, it’s essential to make the following changes to secure the environment –

  • Reset the password of any local EPMM accounts
  • Reset the password for the LDAP and/or KDC service accounts that perform lookups
  • Revoke and replace the public certificate used for your EPMM
  • Reset the password for any other internal or external service accounts configured with the EPMM solution

The development has prompted CISA to add CVE-2026-1281 to the KEV catalog, requiring Federal Civilian Executive Branch (FCEB) agencies to apply the updates by February 1, 2026.

Update

In a report published January 30, 2026, researchers from watchTowr Labs said they reverse-engineered the patches, noting that the RPM fixes modify the Apache HTTPd config to replace two Bash shell scripts (“/mi/bin/map-appstore-url” and “/mi/bin/map-aft-store-url”) with newly introduced Java classes.

As a result, the cybersecurity company said, the vulnerability must be exploitable through HTTP, ultimately leading to a specially crafted HTTP GET request that could be used to pull it off –

GET /mifs/c/appstore/fob/3/5/sha256:kid=1,st=theValue%20%20,et=1337133713,
h=gPath%5B%60sleep%205%60%5D/e2327851-1e09-4463-9b5a-b524bc71fc07.ipa

This stems from the fact that the Bash script “/mi/bin/map-appstore-url” allows users to fetch mobile applications from the Ivanti EPMM-approved application store based on certain parameters, including –

  • The index of a salt string from “/mi/files/appstore-salt.txt” (kid)
  • Start time of the download operation (st)
  • End time of the download operation (et)
  • SHA256 hash (h), and
  • The app store file to retrieve (“e2327851-1e09-4463-9b5a-b524bc71fc07”)

In other words, sending an HTTP request to the endpoint “/mifs/c/appstore/fob/3/<int>/sha256:<something1>/<something2>.ipa” will cause Apache to execute the Bash script with the input: “<something1>_<int>_<something2>_.ipa_<HostHeader>_<EndpointPath>”

“While patches are available from Ivanti, applying patches will not be enough – threat actors have been exploiting these vulnerabilities as zero-days, and organizations that are as of disclosure exposing vulnerable instances to the internet must consider them compromised, tear down infrastructure and instigate incident response processes,” watchTowr CEO Benjamin Harris said.

Zelenskyy reveals 55,000 Ukrainian soldiers killed fighting against Russia | Russia-Ukraine war News

0

Kremlin spokesperson says Russian forces would continue fighting until Kyiv makes necessary ‘decisions’ to end the war.

The number of Ukrainian soldiers killed on the battlefield as a result of the country’s war with Russia is estimated to be 55,000, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said, adding that a “large number” were also missing.

President Zelenskyy’s remarks on Wednesday came in the run-up to the fourth anniversary of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and amid crucial ceasefire talks in Abu Dhabi, where negotiators are trying to end Europe’s largest conflict since World War II.

“In Ukraine, officially the number of soldiers killed on the battlefield – either professionals or those conscripted – is 55,000,” said Zelenskyy, in a prerecorded interview with France 2 TV.

Zelenskyy, whose comments were translated into French, added that on top of that casualty figure was a “large number of people” considered officially missing.

The Ukrainian leader did not give an exact figure for those who are still missing.

Zelenskyy had previously cited a figure for Ukrainian war dead in an interview with the United States television network NBC in February 2025, saying that more than 46,000 Ukrainian service members had been killed on the battlefield.

In the middle of 2025, the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington, DC, estimated that close to 400,000 Ukrainian troops have been killed or wounded since the war began.

Last month, the United Nations Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine reported that Russian attacks had killed 2,514 civilians and injured 12,142 in Ukraine in 2025, almost a third higher than the number of casualties in 2024.

Russia has also incurred heavy losses in the ongoing war.

In January, Ukraine’s military commander, Oleksandr Syrskii, was quoted as saying that in 2025 alone, almost 420,000 Russian soldiers were killed and wounded while fighting against Ukrainian forces.

An October 2025 estimate by British defence intelligence put the overall number of Russian soldiers killed or wounded in the war at 1.1 million.

Both Ukraine and Russia rarely disclose their own casualty figures in the war, though they actively report enemy losses on the battlefield.

Analysts say both Kyiv and Moscow are likely underreporting their own deaths while inflating those of the other side.

Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said on Wednesday that Russia would keep fighting until Kyiv made the “decisions” that could bring the war to an end, while in Abu Dhabi, Ukrainian and Russian officials wrapped up a “productive” first day of new US-brokered talks, Kyiv’s lead negotiator Rustem Umerov said.

US President Donald Trump’s administration has been pushing both Kyiv and Moscow to find a compromise to end the fighting, although the two sides remain far apart on key points despite several rounds of talks.

The most sensitive issues are Moscow’s demands that Kyiv give up land it still controls and the fate of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, Europe’s largest, which now sits in a Russian-occupied area of Ukraine.

Moscow has demanded that Kyiv pull its troops out of all the Donbas region, including heavily fortified cities regarded as one of Ukraine’s strongest defences against Russian aggression, as a condition for any deal to end the fighting.

Ukraine said the conflict should be frozen along current front lines and rejects any unilateral pullback of its forces from territory it still controls.

Russian forces occupy about 20 percent of Ukraine’s territory, including Crimea and parts of the eastern Donbas region seized before the 2022 invasion.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt blasts tech firms, calls to dismantle Section 230 shields

NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles!

Standing alongside parents who lost their children to online abuse, actor and filmmaker Joseph Gordon-Levitt blasted tech companies on Capitol Hill, accusing them of hiding behind Section 230 to evade accountability.

Gordon-Levitt appeared alongside Senate Minority Whip Dick Durbin to back the Illinois senator’s bipartisan Sunset Section 230 Act, legislation that would dismantle the decades-old legal shield protecting social media companies from liability over user content.

“I just heard a couple of stories that left me trying to keep myself together,” Gordon-Levitt said, standing alongside parents who lost their children to online abuse.

“These photos remind me of my kids,” added Gordon-Levitt, the father of three children under the age of 12.

BIG TECH’S TOBACCO MOMENT IS HERE — AND THE TRUTH ABOUT HARMING KIDS IS OUT

“The harm that was done to these kids online might have been prevented if certain Big Tech companies knew that they could be sued. But under Section 230, they cannot be. So, these amoral companies, they just keep allowing these awful things to happen on their platform, and they don’t do anything about it because they will always prioritize profits over the public good, even when it comes to kids,” he said, visibly emotional.

Alongside Gordon-Levitt, parents recounted their experiences, including South Carolina state Rep. Brandon Guffey.

“I lost my 17-year-old son, Gavin Guffey, to suicide,” Guffey said. “We learned days later that he had been the victim of sextortion. It started around midnight, and by 1:40 a.m., he had taken his life. He was living his best life, there were no warning signs and I had never even heard the term ‘sextortion.’

“Days later, I received a call from an aunt who lives about an hour away. Her 14-year-old daughter, Gavin’s cousin, was being extorted by the same person who targeted my son,” he explained. “Meta removed one profile but left another active. Because that account remained online, the predator went on to extort at least 13 more children. Meta knew this was a criminal, yet the account remained online.”

Gordon-Levitt urged lawmakers to repeal Section 230, a provision of federal law that protects social media companies from being sued over content posted by users.

“I have a message for all the other senators out there. I want to see this thing pass 100-0. There should be nobody voting to give any more impunity to these tech companies. Nobody. It’s time for a change. Let’s make it happen,” Gordon-Levitt said.

WPL 2026 Final RCB Vs DC: Today’s clash between RCB and Delhi Capitals in the final of Women’s Premier League.

0

New Delhi. After four weeks of intense action, the Women’s Premier League 2026 has reached its final stage. Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Capitals will face each other in the title match on Thursday, February 5 in Vadodara. Under the captaincy of Jemimah Rodrigues, Delhi Capitals will try to create history at the BCA Stadium and win the trophy for the first time, as they have been runners-up in all three seasons so far.

After getting their campaign back on track with a much-needed win against UP Warriors, Jemimah and her team also defeated Gujarat Giants in the eliminator on Tuesday (February 3). Now they will face the strong RCB, who made it to the playoffs first by winning six out of eight league matches and secured their place in the finals. Smriti Mandhana’s team had made a record of 1-1 against Delhi Capitals in the first round, but she also has good memories of defeating Delhi in the same match in 2024. In the title match played in Delhi, RCB defeated Delhi Capitals by eight wickets.

probable playing eleven

Royal Challengers Bangalore: Grace Harris, Smriti Mandhana (c), Georgia Woll, Radha Yadav, Richa Ghosh (wk), Nadine de Klerk, Pooja Vastrakar, Arundhati Reddy, Sayli Satghare, Shreyanka Patil, Lauren Bell

Delhi Capitals: Shafali Verma, Lizelle Lee (wk), Laura Wolvaardt, Jemimah Rodrigues (c), Marizanne Kapp, Chinelle Henry, Nikki Prasad, Sneh Rana, Minu Mani, Shree Charani, Nandini Sharma.

vadodara pitch report

Despite the tournament reaching its final stages, the pitch at the BCA Stadium in Vadodara showed no signs of slowing down in the eliminator between Gujarat Giants and Delhi Capitals. Batting first, the Giants scored more than 160 runs, which the Capitals achieved in just 16 overs. A good batting pitch can be expected for the final also.

match prediction

Even though Delhi Capitals have made a great comeback in their campaign, Royal Challengers Bangalore look to be the stronger of the two teams. RCB has performed brilliantly throughout the tournament, winning six out of eight matches and have shown consistent all-round performance in Navi Mumbai and Vadodara.
