Travis Kelce’s teammate has 2-word response to GM’s advice to Chiefs

Kansas City Chiefs star Chris Jones came out in defense of Travis Kelce after a former general manager said the team should move on from the tight end in the offseason.

Former New York Jets general manager Mike Tannenbaum said on ESPN’s “SportsCenter” on Wednesday that the Chiefs should cut Kelce and look to upgrade the position with a younger and faster player.

Jones, a defensive tackle, had a two-word response.

“Shut up,” he wrote on X.

Tannenbaum said that the Chiefs front office should be projecting what a player can bring to the table now, instead of evaluating past performance.

“I would move on from Travis Kelce and let me tell you why. When you’re in the front office, you have to project what a player is going to do,” he said. “Not what they’ve done. I’ve made that mistake countless times in my career. And Travis Kelce is a first-ballot Hall of Famer, but when you watch him and make an honest and sober evaluation of his 2025 performance, clearly, his best days are behind him.

“We talk about their lack of explosive plays, if I was Kansas City, I would make the right, albeit difficult, decision to move on from Travis Kelce to try to get younger, faster and more explosive at the tight end position.”

PATRICK MAHOMES MAKES CURIOUS TRAVIS KELCE COMMENTS WITH CHIEFS’ SEASON ON BRINK

Kelce, a three-time Super Bowl champion and 11-time Pro Bowler, has seen his stats decrease over the last three seasons. Though, as he’s aged, defensive coaches have been more keen to cover Kelce in a way that prevents Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs’ offense from harming them.

He did have better numbers from the 2024 season to the 2025 season. He had 851 receiving yards on 76 catches and five touchdowns last season – up from 2024 when he had 97 catches for 823 yards and three touchdowns. He also proved to be a valuable target for Mahomes’ backups when he suffered a season-ending injury.

Kelce could still opt to retire, which makes the Chiefs’ decision moot. But as of now, his future is still hanging in the balance.

He called it a conspiracy of BJP and Election Commission.

What did you say on Mohan Bhagwat’s statement?

On Mohan Bhagwat’s statement that ‘three children should be born’, he said that Bhimrao Ambedkar was the 14th child of his parents, so if he had not been the 14th child of his parents, then who would have given the Constitution to this country. How much salary does Pakistan pay to Usman Tariq? Babar-Afridi get so much

Last Updated:

Usman Tariq has a domestic category-1 contract with PCB. In this, the salary is very less compared to the central contract, but Tariq earns well from match fees and domestic Premier League. Still this is very less compared to India.

How much salary does Pakistan pay to Usman Tariq? Babar-Afridi get so muchZoom
Osman Tariq

Usman Tariq left his job as a salesman in July 2021 and came to Pakistan from Dubai. He worked hard, listened to the taunts of his family members, even saw his mother’s tears and through all this he became such an off-spinner who is the main weapon of Pakistani bowling today. This was also visible in the match against Namibia where Usman took 4 wickets for just 16 runs in 3.3 overs.

When Usman worked in Dubai, he was associated with a real estate firm. Usman left his job for cricket. Now apart from PSL, he is earning a lot of money by playing Pakistan’s domestic cricket and international matches. PCB also gives a fixed salary to Usman Tariq. Usman does not have any central contract with the board, but PCB has signed him under Domestic Category-1. PCB has kept 40 players in this category, who are paid approximately 5.5 lakh Pakistani rupees, while a good amount of money is given in the central contract of PCB. However, Usman earns well from match fees.

pakistan cricket team

Usman Tariq gets 5.5 lakh Pakistani rupees under domestic contract from PCB. If seen from India’s point of view, this is very less. If we look at it in terms of 1 lakh rupees, then 1 lakh rupees of Pakistan is approximately 32500 rupees of India. Apart from this, if we talk about central contract, then Pakistan gives Rs 30 lakh per month to its B category players i.e. approximately Rs 3 lakh 60 lakh, whereas India gives Rs 5 crore to its second grade players, which in Pakistani rupees will be around Rs 15.5 crore.

In Pakistan, Usman Tariq is given Rs 5.5 lakh per month by the board. Usman is also playing for Pakistan’s T-20 team, for which he is paid approximately 4 lakh 18 thousand 524 Pakistani rupees for every match. If he is seen in Test team and ODI team in future, then he will get 12 lakh 57 thousand 795 Pakistani rupees for each match in Test and 6 lakh 44 thousand Pakistani rupees for ODI. In domestic cricket, 6 lakh 28 thousand Pakistani rupees will be available for each 4-day match, 3 lakh 22 thousand for ODI and 2 lakh 9 thousand Pakistani rupees for T-20. Apart from this, Usman plays for Quetta Gladiators in PSL and Trinbago Knight Riders in Caribbean Premier League.

New biomedical waste treatment plant to be set up in Delhi, preparation for 46 tonne per day capacity

0

In view of the increasing pressure of biomedical waste in Delhi, the government has taken decisive initiatives towards strengthening the environmental infrastructure. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, work on the plan to set up a new Common Bio-Medical Waste Treatment Facility (CBWTF) in the capital has intensified. Environment Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa has started the process of finalizing the outline of this project by holding a high-level meeting with senior officials.

Regarding this important project, Environment Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa held a detailed review meeting with senior officials of National Productivity Council (NPC), Environment Department and Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC). In the meeting, a presentation was given on the current status of biomedical waste, projected future growth, technical standards and implementation roadmap. Officials said that it has now become mandatory to develop additional capacity for scientific disposal of waste generated from different parts of the capital.

40 tons of biomedical waste daily in Delhi

The presentation revealed that about 40 tonnes of biomedical waste is being generated every day from East, North, West, South and Central areas of Delhi. With the increasing number of hospitals, clinics and labs, this figure is likely to increase further in the future. Experts warned that if new facilities are not developed in time, there may be additional pressure on existing plants.

Preparation of modern plant with capacity of 46 tons per day

Keeping in mind the future needs, the capacity of the proposed new CBWTF has been fixed at 46 tonnes per day. This will be equivalent to disposal of approximately 2300 kg of waste per hour. The plants will be operated 20 hours a day to ensure maximum efficiency. Officials said that earlier only two plants were covering the entire Delhi, due to which the workload was high. New plants will reduce this pressure and better area-wise management will be possible.

Waste will be treated with state-of-the-art technology

Modern processes like autoclaving, shredding and safe landfill will be used in the proposed plants. This will ensure scientific and safe disposal of different categories of waste. Separate plants have been proposed for West, South-West and Central regions along with East, North-East and Shahdara. This will reduce transportation time and risk will also reduce.

Initiative in line with ‘zero tolerance’ policy towards pollution

Minister Sirsa clarified that the government will give opportunities only to those companies which have state-of-the-art technology and follow all the statutory environmental standards. The tender process will be started soon. He said that proper disposal of biomedical waste is very important for the health of the citizens. Uncontrolled waste can become a serious threat and the government will not tolerate it at any cost.

Monitoring dashboard will be made for transparency

Under the project, digital dashboards will also be set up for daily monitoring. With this, the quantity of waste, disposal process and operation of the plants can be continuously monitored. The government believes that the basis of a clean and healthy Delhi is a strong waste management system. The new biomedical waste treatment plant will prove to be an important step in this direction.

Republicans blast FISA court appointment of Biden disinformation board lawyer

0

NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles!

Republican lawmakers called it “insane” that the secretive Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court appointed to a key advisory panel a lawyer with past ties to the Biden administration’s controversial Disinformation Governance Board.

Judges on the FISC appointed Jennifer Daskal this month to serve as an amicus curiae, meaning Daskal is now among a small group of lawyers designated to advise the secretive court, which approves warrants for federal authorities to surveil targets for foreign intelligence purposes. The GOP lawmakers say Daskal’s history with the disinformation board raises worries about her ability to discern whether warrants are appropriate.

“The same person who helped to build a board to censor American speech now advises judges on how to protect American liberties,” House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, told Fox News Digital in a statement. “That’s ridiculous — and exactly why Congress must continue our oversight.”

Sen. Eric Schmitt, R-Mo., echoed Jordan’s concerns, saying Daskal’s appointment was “insane” and calling for reforms to the FISC.

Schmitt shared a video of himself on X questioning Daskal during a hearing about what he called the Biden administration’s “censorship enterprise,” referencing Daskal’s role in aiming to dispel what the administration viewed as inaccurate information about COVID-19 masks and vaccines and information about election security.

FISC proceedings are classified and “ex parte,” meaning a judge reviews the federal government’s warrant application and the target of the warrant has no awareness of the proceedings. A judge reviewing the application can, however, turn to an amicus curiae to present counterpoints to the government’s application, meaning Daskal is among a handful of lawyers who could be tapped to argue against allowing the government to wiretap a person’s phones or otherwise surveil them.

Under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, the government has access to these powerful spy tools for foreign intelligence purposes, but it has sometimes, whether inadvertently or intentionally, improperly targeted U.S. citizens.

Building more guardrails into the legislation has long been a point of contention for privacy hawks. Republicans, in particular, became highly critical of the FISC after finding that the court approved the FBI’s warrant applications, which contained flimsy and inaccurate evidence, to surveil Trump campaign aide Carter Page beginning in 2016.

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, told the Washington Free Beacon, which first reported on Daskal’s appointment, that the “American people need to have confidence in the people tasked to serve as amici” before the FISC. Grassley pointed to a bill he introduced, the FISA Accountability Act, which would allow Congress to have a say in who is chosen as an amicus curiae.

Jordan and Grassley have been some of the most vocal proponents of reining in the federal government’s use of FISA after identifying instances in recent years of intelligence officials allegedly abusing their authority and infringing on U.S. citizens’ Fourth Amendment right to privacy. In the case of Page, DOJ inspector general Michael Horowitz released a report in 2019 that identified more than a dozen “significant errors or omissions” across the FBI’s four warrant applications used to surveil the former Trump aide. Daskal, in her new role, could offer confidential, weighty legal arguments to a FISC judge that support or oppose intelligence officials’ requests to surveil someone.

Daskal served as a top lawyer in the Department of Homeland Security when she helped launch the Disinformation Governance Board. Conservatives heavily criticized it, describing the board as a “Ministry of Truth” that sought to censor their viewpoints in violation of the First Amendment.

Daskal chartered the board, while Nina Jankowicz was named its executive director, an appointment that fueled Republicans’ fury over it after finding Jankowicz’ past social media posts that they said revealed she was too partisan. Jankowicz, for instance, cast doubt on the New York Post’s bombshell story in 2020 about Hunter Biden’s laptop, which she said fit a pattern of Russian “information laundering.” Biden administration officials vehemently objected to the claims in the New York Post’s story about Joe Biden’s handling of Ukrainian foreign policy, though the authenticity of the laptop itself has been verified through court proceedings.

Republicans put so much pressure on DHS about the board — calling it an “abuse of taxpayer dollars” and raising alarm that it painted policy disagreements over COVID-19, election security and immigration as mis- or dis- information — that it disbanded just a few months after its launch.

In Daskal’s hearing exchange with Schmitt, Daskal said “it’s not appropriate for the government to censor any points of view.” Daskal did not respond to a request for comment for this story.

Palantir spent $25M on CEO flights for chatty Karp • The Register

0

Opinion Palantir CEO Alex Karp has a singular mission to stand out among tech CEOs. Big talk on sales, profits, and tech potential is not enough. His gift for edgy one-liners takes him to places where execs of the past would have scarcely dared to go. Say hello to allusions to goose-stepping and innate Western superiority that we assume have audiences rolling in the aisles.

To get that much attention, he also needs to get about – much more than leaders of companies ten times the size of Palantir, it seems. Keeping him on the front pages of the business and investor media means Karp flies on “non-commercial aircraft beneficially owned by him (the “Executive Aircraft”) for business and personal travel,” according to a recent regulatory filing.

“During the years ended December 31, 2025 and 2024, the Company incurred expenses related to the use of the Executive Aircraft of $17.2 million and $7.7 million, respectively,” it said.

Let’s get that straight. Damn near $25 million on air travel in two years. That’s enough to fly from London to New York and back about 44,000 times in an economy seat – depending on the commercial airliner – or every day for the next 100-plus years.

Karp has boasted that the company doesn’t need to spend much on sales, as its products sell themselves once customers start playing around with them. Aside from this not being true – Palantir spent $1 billion on sales and marketing [PDF] in FY 2025 – the investment in Karp jetting around the globe to keep his mouth at the center of the action might yield significant ROI, even if his board would sometimes rather he remained a little less vocal.

An analyst from investment bank Jefferies put Palantir’s investment in Karp’s mobility into some perspective.

“Assuming use of a mid‑sized jet with an estimated operating cost of ~$7K per hour, this implies roughly 2,457 flight hours, or about 28 percent of the year spent in the air,” a recent note said, according to the FT.

Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, a $200 billion annual revenue biz, spends $1.8 million on air travel a year. Maybe meeting in the Metaverse makes it less necessary, though we doubt it. Palo Alto Networks’ CEO spends $2.4 million on private aircraft travel. His company’s revenue generates $11 billion or so annually, compared to Palantir’s $4.5 billion.

Perhaps, then, Karp is compensating for something. Or maybe, given his many extended flights of fancy, he just struggles to get down to Earth. ®

Man arrested after two teenagers found dead at Yorkshire holiday park | UK news

0

Two teenagers have died at a holiday park on the Yorkshire coast in a suspected carbon monoxide poisoning.

A 15-year-old girl and 17-year-old boy were found dead inside a rental property at Little Eden holiday park in Bridlington on Wednesday, police said.

A 33-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of gross negligence manslaughter and is being questioned by police.

Ch Supt Matt Peach, of Humberside police, said detectives were investigating whether the teenagers died as a result of carbon monoxide poisoning.

He said: “This is incredibly distressing and heartbreaking for the families of the teenagers involved, and they are at the forefront of our minds and actions.

“Specially trained officers have been supporting the families over the last 24 hours and I would please ask people to refrain from any form of speculation and to respect their privacy.”

Some holidaymakers are understood to have been asked to leave the park on Wednesday, where families had gathered for the half-term school break.

The force said a police cordon remained in place while investigations continued on Thursday. It said it was working alongside Humberside fire and rescue, the Health and Safety Executive and East Riding of Yorkshire council.

Peach said: “Whilst we are in the very early stages and the deaths at this time remain unexplained, we are exploring the possibility that they may be connected to carbon monoxide poisoning, with further enquiries continuing with our partner agencies.

“Emergency services and partner agencies have attended all other properties on the site to offer advice, support and guidance and ensure everyone’s safety.

“We know the shock and upset this will cause to the local community, and I want to offer my reassurance we will do all we can to determine exactly what has happened. Those living in the area will continue to see an increased police presence and we will provide further updates as soon as we are able to.”

Liv Retreats, the travel firm that operates Little Eden holiday park, has been contacted for comment.

This entire controversy is related to ‘Raghunandan Jewellers’ showroom located in Sadar Bazaar. The aggrieved party has described it as serious negligence on the part of the bullion trader or a part of a well-planned conspiracy.

This is how the web of fraud was woven

It is being told that this whole incident happened due to the entry of two different persons. Swalwell campaign takes cash from Hunter Biden’s former ‘sugar brother’ lawyer

0

NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles!

FIRST ON FOX: Wealthy Hollywood lawyer Kevin Morris bankrolled Hunter Biden’s legal defense and other bills when he was facing charges for federal firearms and tax crimes, and now he is helping finance the gubernatorial campaign of one of the most vocal defenders of Hunter, a new campaign finance filing reveals.

A campaign filing that was released on Tuesday revealed that Morris, who was dubbed Hunter’s “sugar brother,” for bankrolling his legal bills and lavish lifestyle, donated $29,900 to Rep. Eric Swalwell’s, D-Calif., gubernatorial campaign on Feb. 2.

Swalwell, who reportedly helped orchestrate Hunter’s surprise press conference outside the Capitol in Dec. 2023 while he defied the House Oversight Committee’s subpoenas to testify behind closed doors, was one of the loudest critics of the GOP investigations into Hunter during the Biden administration.

“There is absolutely zero evidence Hunter or his father acted corruptly,” Swalwell said at the time. “So I’m not going to sit quietly and let MAGA Republicans do Trump’s bidding in Congress.”

Morris and the younger Biden first met in 2019 at a campaign event for Biden’s then-Vice President father, and the pair eventually developed a burgeoning relationship at what Morris called one of “the lowest point[s]” in Hunter Biden’s life. Morris ended up forking over so much cash, more than $6.5 million, that Politico reported about concerns he could not keep footing Hunter Biden’s legal bill if the case went to trial, which it ultimately did not.

Morris also reportedly helped pay for luxury housing for Hunter Biden, bought more than a dozen of the former president’s son’s amateur paintings and helped the young Biden pay his overdue tax bill.

During his time helping Hunter Biden, Morris faced multiple bar complaints, including from the Trump-aligned America First Legal, which accused Morris of violating California’s Rules of Professional Conduct after he was publicly photographed smoking marijuana while Hunter Biden, a recovering addict, was around visiting.

Morris was also accused of trying to sneak onto the set of a movie about Hunter Biden’s misdealing, but was eventually cleared by the state bar association in California.

SWALWELL VOWS TO MAKE ICE AGENTS ‘UN-HIRABLE’ IN CALIFORNIA STATE GOVERNMENT POSITIONS

A person close to the Hollywood attorney told Politico that the reason Morris decided to help Hunter Biden is that he saw that no one else was going to step up and support him.

Swalwell’s support at the 2023 press conference by reserving the “Senate Swamp,” a popular area near the Capitol that is often used for press conferences, raised questions at the time about whether the California congressman played a role in the then-first son’s decision to deny a congressional subpoena from Republicans seeking to question him about his alleged crimes and other financial dealings.

Morris, who previously maxed out donations totaling over $6,000 to Swalwell’s House campaign in early 2023, and Swalwell stood beside each other during the viral press conference later that year.

“Degenerates of a feather flock together,” a longtime GOP strategist told Fox News Digital. “Eric Swalwell is literally Hunter Biden’s biggest cheerleader – from reserving the Senate Swamp to defending the Biden Crime Family’s litany of illicit activities.”

Morris and Swalwell also have ties to China that have raised questions among critics. In 2024, Morris confirmed to lawmakers that he still held a stake in a Chinese private equity firm that he took over from the president’s son. Morris initially acquired the shares after purchasing Skaneateles LLC, a company that Hunter had previously owned, in the fall of 2021 as pressure mounted for Hunter to divest amid concerns about his stake in the China-based company.

Swalwell, meanwhile, has long-faced criticism over his ties to China after it was uncovered that he was allegedly the target of a Chinese spy influence operation during his early days as an elected official. The incident led to Swalwell getting booted off the powerful House intelligence committee several years later when the allegations became public.

Fox News Digital reported last month that despite Swalwell’s heavily criticized relationship with the Chinese, his gubernatorial campaign accepted multiple donations from a Chinese-based law firm and its sole U.S.-based attorney Keliang “Clay” Zhu.

Representatives for Swalwell did not respond to Fox News Digital’s requests for comment in time for publication.
