
Shares of Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited rose 1.59 per cent to ₹249.90 on the BSE at 11 AM on Friday, after the company announced that Shri Arunangshu Sarkar, Director (Strategy & Corporate Affairs), has been appointed as the interim Director (Technology & Field Services) on January 2.
According to its exchange filing, this appointment follows a letter from the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, dated December 30, 2024, and became effective from January 1, 2025.

Further, Shri Sarkar will hold this additional responsibility for three months or until a permanent appointment is made, whichever comes first.
The stock hit a 52-week high of ₹344.60 on August 1, 2024 and it hit a low of ₹209.40 on January 4, 2024 on the BSE.
