There is news of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar going to Rajya Sabha. If he files his nomination on Thursday (March 05, 2026), the picture will become clear. Meanwhile, amidst the discussion of his going to Rajya Sabha, the displeasure of JDU leaders is also clearly visible. Party MLA Saryu Rai has given a big statement.
Saryu Rai says that some such incidents are happening in Bihar which indicate that efforts are being made to send Nitish Kumar to Rajya Sabha. Now when the government is with NDA, such incidents keep happening.
This is not the right time: Saryu Rai
Saryu Rai said, “I think this is not the right time. Whatever the leadership decides, it does it after thinking, but if the right decision is taken at the right time, it gives good results. It is not right to suddenly tell the general public that Nitish Kumar is going to Rajya Sabha.”

The JDU leader further said that there should be a comprehensive discussion. NDA leaders want to send Nitish Kumar to Rajya Sabha and Nitish Kumar is ready, so what is anyone’s objection to it? Nitish Kumar has been doing campaign politics for a long time. He has become not a person but a symbol. He has run the government on his own terms. Today he is a well-known leader of Bihar.
Saryu Rai said in clear words that Nitish Kumar should have stayed in Bihar for a few more days. If power has to be transferred to him then it should have been done after taking some time. By doing this suddenly the public is also not feeling well. The supporters are also not feeling well. Even a leader like us is not feeling well.
‘No one has put pressure on Nitish Kumar till date’
Answering a question from the media, Saryu Rai said that what can be the pressure on Nitish Kumar? He has already said that we are completely with the Bharatiya Janata Party. BJP and JDU together are running the government here. They are also trying to bring change in the society. Till date no one has put any pressure on Nitish Kumar.
