
Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RSP) leader Balendra Shah will take oath as the Prime Minister of Nepal on Friday. He will be the youngest PM of the country. Earlier, new MPs of Nepal’s House of Representatives took oath on Thursday in a program organized in the temporary building of the Parliament.
Senior member of the House of Representatives, Arjun Narsingh KC, administered the oath to the MPs. 63 MPs took oath in their mother tongue apart from Nepali. On the other hand, the Federal Parliament Secretariat decided the seating arrangement based on the seat numbers of the parties. Under this, MPs of Nepali Congress, Nepal Communist Party (EML) and Nepali Communist Party (NCPA) were made to sit in the same row, where they took oath. The MPs reached Singhdarbar in various traditional costumes to take oath.
Shah passed the proposal of parliamentary party leader
The Central Committee of the Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has unanimously passed the proposal to form a parliamentary party. Party spokesperson and MP Manish Jha informed that the ongoing Central Committee meeting has also passed the proposal to elect Balendra Shah as the leader of the parliamentary party.
Balendra Shah released his new song
On the eve of his swearing-in ceremony, Balendra Shah Balen released his new song Jai Mahakali on Thursday. This new video song shows scenes from Balen’s election campaign. The purpose of this song is to spread the message of patriotism and national unity. This song was watched by 1.50 lakh viewers in just two hours of its release on YouTube.
It is noteworthy that in the House of Representatives elections held on March 5, RSP has achieved a clear majority by winning 182 seats. The party had declared Balendra Shah as the Prime Ministerial candidate even before the elections.
