Hundreds of people became ill after eating kuttu flour in different areas of the northwest district. All were brought to Babu Jagjivan Ram Hospital. District Deputy Commissioner of Police Bhishma Singh said that the Jahangirpuri police station received a complaint of discomfort after eating a large number of people after consuming a large number of people after eating the flour of Kuttu.
On the information, the police immediately reached Babu Jagjivan Ram Hospital. On interrogation, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Special Yadav said that about 150-200 people from areas like Jahangirpuri, Mahendra Park, Samaypur, Bhalswa Dairy, Lal Bagh and Swaroop Nagar came to the emergency ward with complaints of vomiting.
He said that the condition of all the patients was found to be stable. No one needed to be hospitalized. There is no notice of the seriousness of any case. The police, taking immediate action on the case, are making local shopkeepers, vendors and residents aware through beat staff and public address systems. The case has also been informed to the Food Department for further necessary action.
