Pakistan beat Bangladesh: Pakistan retaliated in a ‘tit for tat’ style in Dhaka and defeated Bangladesh in the same manner. Pakistan team, which was bundled out for 114 runs in the first match, leveled the score by bowling out Bangladesh for exactly 114 runs in the second ODI. On the basis of Maaz Sadaqat’s all-round performance of 75 runs and 3 wickets, Pakistan has leveled the series 1-1. Now the final match to be held on March 15 will decide the series.

Maaz Sadaqat was given the Player of the Match award for his all-round performance.
New Delhi. At the Sher-e-Bangla Stadium in Dhaka, Pakistan did what is called ‘tit for tat’. In the first ODI, Bangladesh had embarrassed Pakistan by bowling out just 114 runs, but in the second ODI, Pakistani bowlers settled the scores and bundled out the entire Bangladesh team on the same score of 114 runs. With this spectacular victory, Pakistan has leveled the 3-match series 1-1. Now on March 15, the series will be named after the team that wins the third ODI. Maaz Sadaqat (75 runs and 3 wickets) was adjudged player of the match for his all-round performance.
The excitement in the match increased further when lightning, thunder and heavy rain disrupted Bangladesh’s innings. The game was halted for about 133 minutes, but due to the hard work of the groundsmen the match could be restarted. When the game started in the revised conditions, Pakistani bowlers started on fire. The foundation of Pakistan’s victory was laid by Shaheen Shah Afridi, who broke the back of Bangladesh by sending opener Tanjeed and captain Shanto to the pavilion early. After this, Wasim Junior increased the pressure further by taking the wicket of Saif Hasan.

But the real hero of this match was Maaz Sadaqat. Sadakat first scored 75 runs in a stormy manner while batting and then took 3 important wickets using the magic of his spin bowling. However, Salman Ali Aga’s controversial run-out in the same match took away the shine of Sadaqat’s innings, but his all-round performance ensured Pakistan’s victory. After the run-out of Salman Agha during Pakistan’s innings, the entire team was reduced to 274 runs. But in the middle of Bangladesh’s innings, lightning and heavy rain stopped the game for about 133 minutes. When the game was stopped, Bangladesh had scored 27 runs for 3 wickets in 6.3 overs. After this Bangladesh got the revised target of 243 runs in 32 overs. Bangladesh team collapsed in 23.3 overs.
Rauf’s return and Bangladesh’s surrender
Haris Rauf, who was included in the team in place of Abrar Ahmed, proved the captain’s decision right. Rauf took 3 wickets with his sharp bowling and did not give any chance to the Bangladeshi lower order to survive. Liton Das and Tauheed Hriday definitely hit some good shots from Bangladesh, but as soon as Liton’s wicket fell, the entire team collapsed like a house of cards.
Keep an eye on the shortcomings in preparation for the decisive match
Even though Pakistan won this match in a one-sided manner, everything did not go well for them. Sahibzada Farhan was again seen struggling in the top order and after the run-out of Salman Agha, the Pakistani middle order once again collapsed badly. Before the decider to be held on March 15, Pakistan will have to correct these flaws in its batting.
