Muzaffarnagar: 6 suspects roaming in Hindu attire arrested, many items including peacock feathers, ghost recovered

Kakrauli police station in Muzaffarnagar district of Uttar Pradesh has achieved great success and arrested 6 suspicious persons dressed as Hindus and roaming around with the help of fake Aadhaar cards. A huge quantity of religious symbols and items related to donation collection including fake Aadhaar cards have been recovered from the possession of the accused.

This action was taken under the direction of Additional Director General of Police, Meerut Zone and Deputy Inspector General of Police, Saharanpur Zone, under the supervision of Senior Superintendent of Police Sanjay Kumar Verma and under the leadership of Superintendent of Police Rural Aditya Bansal, Area Officer Bhopa Devvrit Vajpayee and Police Station Officer Kakrauli Joginder Singh.

The accused were roaming around in the costumes of saints and sages.

According to the police, information was received that some suspicious people were roaming in the area in the guise of Hindu saints. Acting immediately on the information, the police arrested 6 accused. Before this, another member of the same gang was arrested on February 4 and sent to jail.

Shocking revelation made during interrogation

According to the police, the arrested accused have been identified as Shakeel, Shaukeen, Iqbal, Sajeel, Ayyub and Hanish. During interrogation, it was revealed that the accused used to mislead people by using fake names and addresses and fake Aadhaar cards. The police have recovered 6 fake Aadhaar cards, iron chain, Sarangi, Damru, Khanjadi, Kalava, donation receipts, peacock feather stick, brass bracelet, clothes, deed and ghost and other items from the possession of the accused.

Case registered against the accused under relevant sections

Advance legal action is being taken against the accused by registering a case under relevant sections at Kakrauli police station. Kakrauli police team including sub-inspectors Sachin Chaudhary, Devki Nandan, Dinesh Singh were involved in this police action. At present, this action of Muzaffarnagar Police has given a strong message to those who beg in the guise of a monk.
