The law was broken in Mai Bhago Law College located in Usma village of Tarn Taran, Punjab. A day earlier on Monday, law student Princeraj Singh shot dead his classmate Sandeep Kaur (22). Within three seconds of this, he committed suicide by shooting himself. Both of them died there. There is a stir in the college after this incident which happened in broad daylight.
Police investigation has revealed that Princeraj’s father is working in the army. Princeraj had brought a pistol in his bag from home. The pistol with which Princeraj committed this crime is his father’s licensed pistol. According to the information, Princeraj’s father had recently returned to the headquarters in Jammu after taking leave but his pistol was still at home. As soon as the girl refused friendship, Princeraj carried out the crime with complete planning. Keeping a pistol in his bag from home, he reached college and committed the crime. After this he also shot himself.

Princeraj asked Sandeep Kaur for friendship on propose day
After receiving the information, DSP Jagbir Singh reached the spot along with the police party and took stock of the situation. At present the college has been sealed for investigation. After all, why the accused took this step is also being investigated. There is information that Princeraj had asked Sandeep Kaur for friendship on the proposal day. He became angry when the girl refused and after the college opened on Monday, Princeraj reached with a pistol in his bag and shot Sandeep Kaur from close range.

Police investigation has also revealed that this is a case of one-sided love. The boy had proposed to Sandeep Kaur several times and pressurized her for friendship but she always refused saying that she was engaged and could not leave the family. Angered by this, the young man took this step.

Sandeep wanted to become a judge
Sandeep Kaur’s mother Harjinder Kaur told that her husband has died. He has seven daughters. Sandeep Kaur wanted to become a judge after studying law. Princeraj used to come to his house and ask Sandeep for friendship. Even after refusing, he continued harassing her. Even on Sunday, she had proposed to Sandeep over phone, about which her daughter had told her. Raising questions on the college management, he said that he was told that his daughter had suffered minor injuries but when he came to the college, he found her dead body.

Family members raised questions on college management
Sandeep Kaur’s family members have raised the question of how the mad lover reached Mai Bhago Law College with a pistol. Mother Harjinder Kaur and sister Sumandeep Kaur told that when they came to know about the incident, they reached the spot but were kept outside with the gate closed for 15 minutes. On the other hand, the police have taken possession of the footage of the CCTV camera installed in the classroom and have started a thorough investigation.
