Km stuck in the meter! 125 km forelane stopped due to 537 meters, this controversy is amazing500 meters of land hindered the road of Munger

Munger: There is outside in Bihar, only then Bihar is looking forward to the progress path at the speed of work. The news is related to the 125 km long Munger -Mirzachowki Fourlane Project. Its construction has been completed about 90 percent, but in Bihar, the break in Bihar’s outside in Bihar has also been put in amazing style. This road is stuck on 537 meters of land. Construction work has come to a standstill due to land acquisition and compensation dispute near Mahmada village. The interesting thing is that such a big project has lagged behind the entire schedule due to just a few hundred meters of blockage. The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has now set a new target to start this road by June 2026, while earlier there was a plan to complete it by July 2025.

Compensation and floods become a big challenge

District Land Acquisition Officer Pankaj Gupta told the media, according to this, the ryots of Nauvagarhi Mahmada village are not leaving the land yet. The case is pending in the Arbitrator Court regarding residential compensation. It has been hoped that the dispute will be resolved by October. On the other hand, construction work has also been affected due to flood water accumulation for the last one and a half months. However, work in other parts is moving rapidly. Construction of overbridge on the railway line near Patam station has started. The work of offering guards on western pillars and pillar and soil filling at the eastern end is going on. But these officials have not shown their interest in progressing the work, who could not provide land for the 537 meter road, what will they do by tying a bridge of praise.

Toll plaza and new project will increase speed
Let us tell you that in the coming time, toll plazas are also being built on two places on this forelane. One near Kahalgaon and the other near Kalyanpur railway station. The work of both is likely to be completed by October. Road construction is going on in Bariyarpur, Kharagpur, Jamalpur and Munger Sadar zone in the district. Fourlane road is being constructed from Hemjapur to Ghorghat in Munger district. At the same time, the 82 km long forelane project from Munger to Mokama has also got administrative approval. It will be built at a cost of 4447 crores and will connect important cities like Mokama, Lakhisarai, Jamalpur and Munger.

Trains will be filled in June 2026
The thing to understand from this report of Local 18 is that the 125 km forelane is almost ready, but is trapped on only 537 meters of land. Despite the compensation dispute and the challenges of floods, the work is moving fast. If everything happens on time, then from June 2026, the vehicles will be seen filling this green field project.
