
A murder that took place in broad daylight in Dharavi area of Mumbai shocked the entire area. Here a 20 year old youth was brutally murdered by his own friend. The accused stabbed his friend more than 20 times with a knife and also slit his throat. The police have arrested the accused. Old enmity and mutual dispute is coming to light behind this dreadful incident.

According to the police, the deceased has been identified as Ashwin Shivkumar Nadar. Her acquaintance lover Asim Akhtar Khan attacked her with a knife more than 20 times and also slit her throat. When the police reached the spot, the accused was standing near Ashwin with a blood stained knife in his hand.
Eyewitnesses told the police that while attacking, the accused was continuously threatening to kill Ashwin. He was shouting that he would not leave Ashwin alive. He also threatened to kill anyone who came to intervene. Seeing this horrifying scene, the people around were horrified.
Old rivalry became the cause of death
Initial investigation revealed that Ashwin and the accused already knew each other. There was a dispute going on between them regarding some issue for a long time. Police suspect that Ashwin had refused to live or have a relationship with the accused. Angered by this, the accused planned to murder Ashwin.
As soon as information about the incident was received, the police team reached the spot and took the accused into custody. Critically injured Ashwin was immediately taken to Sion Hospital. However, the wounds were so deep that Ashwin died during treatment.
Pushed wife in front of local train
This is not the first incident of crime in Mumbai. Earlier on March 17 also, a heart-wrenching case had come to light. There a 42 year old man had pushed his wife in front of a moving local train after a domestic dispute. The woman lost her life in this accident.
The accused husband had absconded after the incident. Police raided many places in search of him. Eventually the Railway Police team arrested him from Surat, Gujarat. Investigation revealed that the accused was constantly changing his location and traveling by different trains to avoid being caught.
