MS Dhoni Fined for over speeding: Former Indian cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has been fined Rs 1000 for driving at high speed in Ranchi. His car was caught breaking traffic rules near his house. The automatic traffic monitoring system recorded that the vehicle was traveling faster than the prescribed speed limit. After this, e-challan was issued under Section 183 of the Motor Vehicle Act.

New Delhi. A big news related to former Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who is preparing for IPL 2026, has come to light. Dhoni has come into limelight in a case related to violation of traffic rules. Actually, the traffic police has imposed a fine of Rs 1,000 on Dhoni for overspeeding in Ranchi. According to the information, the incident took place in Kanke area of Ranchi. Dhoni’s car was recorded moving at a speed exceeding the prescribed speed limit in the cameras installed for traffic monitoring. Because of this, an e-challan was issued against him under the Motor Vehicles Act. The car is said to be a black colored Mercedes.
According to traffic department officials, the rules are the same for all citizens, be it a common man or a famous personality. At present, no official response has come from Dhoni or his representatives on this matter. Dhoni is often seen driving luxury cars in his home town Ranchi. His collection includes SUVs like Jeep Grand Cherokee, Trackhawk, Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG and Nishan Jonga as well as many superbikes.

Dhoni is also in the news regarding another matter. Jharkhand State Housing Board has also issued a show cause notice to Dhoni. This notice has been sent regarding the alleged commercial use of a residential plot named HIG-10/A located in Harmu Housing Colony, Ranchi. According to the officials, the said plot was allotted only for residential purpose, whereas on the basis of recently received information, it has been claimed that a pathology lab is being operated from there.
The board has asked Dhoni to give a written explanation within 15 days. Both the cases have currently intensified the discussion among the sports world and their fans. MS Dhoni is also in the news regarding IPL 2026. Crores of his fans spread across the world are excited to see him on the field once again. However, according to a report, Dhoni will not play in all the matches of the season.
