A painful accident occurred near Durga Pandal in Bargi Hills area of ​​Jabalpur district of Madhya Pradesh. Two innocent children died due to current. There is an atmosphere of mourning in the entire area due to this incident.

Police officials said that the incident took place in Bargi Hills of Tilwara police station area when the children were playing near the pandal. The deceased have been identified as Ayush Jharia (08 years) and Ved Srivas (10 years). Both the children were burnt by the current and died on the spot.

Minister Rakesh Singh expressed grief over the incident

State Public Works Minister Rakesh Singh has expressed deep grief over this incident. He said that the incident is very serious and strict action will be taken against the culprits. The minister ordered an inquiry with immediate effect and a three -member team was formed for this. At the same time, he directed the families of the deceased to provide financial assistance of Rs 2-2 lakh.

Three -member investigation team formed

Jabalpur Collector Raghavendra Singh has constituted a three -member inquiry committee under the leadership of Deputy Magistrate (SDM) Gorakhpur Anurag Singh in view of the seriousness of the case. In this committee, SDO (Electrical and Maintenance) S.K. Sharma and Assistant Engineer of East Zone Electricity Company Dinesh Pal are also included. The collector has directed that the committee submit a detailed report of the incident within three days and check all the possible causes.

Preliminary investigation revealed

SDM Anurag Singh said that according to preliminary investigation, the current came into an electric pole. The children came in contact with the same pillar, causing their lives. The investigation also revealed that the organizers had taken a proper power connection for the pandal, but unauthorized connections were made for external decoration. This accident happened due to this negligence.

Police lodged FIR in the incident

City Superintendent of Police (CSP) Ashish Jain said that an FIR has been registered in this case under the relevant sections of BNS. The police will now identify the responsible people and take further action.

The area drowned in mourning

This incident has caused the entire Bargi Hills area. On the occasion of Navratri, there is silence and mourning in the pandal where there should have been an atmosphere of celebration and devotion. Local people are saying that if a little care was taken, this tragedy could have been averted.
