Missile falls on car in Abu Dhabi, 1 Palestinian killed, alert issued

One person died when a missile fell on a civilian vehicle in Al Bahaya area of ​​UAE capital Abu Dhabi. The deceased was a Palestinian citizen. Abu Dhabi Media Office has confirmed this by issuing an official statement.

The accident happened despite intercepting the missile

According to the report of Arabian Business, this incident is the result of missile or drone attacks launched from Iran. UAE’s air defense intercepted most of the missiles and drones, but the debris that fell during the interception hit the civilian vehicle. Due to this the vehicle was completely destroyed and the driver died on the spot. There is no news of any other injuries.

Abu Dhabi Authority said, ‘Abu Dhabi Authority has responded to the incident of a missile falling on a civilian vehicle in Al Bahaya area, resulting in the death of a Palestinian civilian.’ He appealed to the people to take information only from official sources and not spread rumours.

Attacks increased in UAE after Middle East Conflict

This incident has happened amid the Iran-America-Israel war, which is going on since February 28, 2026. Iran has carried out hundreds of missile and drone attacks on American bases and Gulf countries (UAE, Saudi, Qatar etc.) because America-Israel had carried out major attacks on Iran. More than 1,000 projectiles have been launched at the UAE so far, most intercepted but debris resulting in many civilian deaths.

The number of deaths has increased in Abu Dhabi and Dubai in the last few weeks. A total of 6 deaths and more than 140 injuries have been reported so far in UAE. Similar incidents happened in Dubai too, like the death of a Pakistani driver in Al Barsha. UAE’s defense said that they are handling all the attacks, but Iran’s attacks continue.
