The Bhoomi Pujan of this overbridge was done in the year 2018, but since then half of the period of 2023 has passed, still the overbridge has not been inaugurated.

Mandsaur in-charge minister Rajvardhan Singh Dattigaon had recently visited Mandsaur and held a review meeting of departmental schemes in the Collectorate auditorium. Meanwhile, he directed the concerned officials that the work of Sanjeet Naka overbridge should be completed by October 30. Along with this, he has also expressed his displeasure due to the incomplete works in the district. The SDO of the bridge department itself, accepting the order of the Minister in-charge, has assured him that the work of the over bridge will be completed by October 30. During this time, thousands more people are likely to be troubled by the problem of the over bridge.

The Minister in-charge has given a message to his officers that all pending departmental construction works in the district should be completed with the expectation of code of conduct. Besides, he has also given direction to those construction works which have already been inaugurated, they need to be put into use immediately. Along with this, he has also ordered to ensure that wherever errors are found during the construction works, they are immediately rectified.

Due to the under-construction overbridge, people of about 15 colonies and more than a dozen villages are facing problems every day. Residents around the overbridge are now forced to cross the tracks, which could put their lives at risk. The company constructing the overbridge has been given notices several times due to delay, but no action has been taken. Now the news is that the company has been included in the blacklist.
