In areas where there is a possibility of water filling, make arrangements to save the crop. This step is necessary so that both the farm and the crop are not harmed by the sudden rains.
Water level of dams and rivers is expected to rise
Government officials have warned that heavy rains in South Marathwada, Konkan and Ghat areas of western Maharashtra may increase the water level of dams rapidly. This will speed up the flow of water in rivers and drains and can also create flood -like situation in some places.
