
Feroz, who tried to spoil the communal atmosphere in the name of ‘saffron love trap’ on social media in UP, has been arrested by the police. After the case was registered in Meerut, the accused escaped from Aligarh and moved to Bihar. In joint action of cyber cell and police, he was caught late in the night and brought to Meerut.
The matter came to light on 28 April when a student of Chaudhary Charan Singh University lodged a complaint with the police station. The victim alleged that objectionable remarks were made on the photo with her classmate on the internet.

This post was presented by linking to the ‘saffron love trap’, which tarnished the social image of the student. On the basis of the complaint of the victim, Instagram ID was investigated and it was found that this ID was of Feroz, a resident of Aligarh.
Police investigation revealed that the accused has uploaded several objectionable materials. In these posts, it was claimed that after marrying Hindu youths, Muslim women will be returned back to the Muslim religion after conversion. These statements were presented by naming the ‘saffron love trap’, which was aimed at spreading communal tension in the society.
Big disclosure in police investigation
Cyber investigation also revealed that Feroze was trying to get funding from abroad by calling himself a contractor of religion. According to the police, its aim was to dissolve poison in the society and to incite religious sentiments.
After the arrest, Feroze has also revealed the names of some other people of Meerut, who have been involved in this conspiracy with him. These names are also being investigated.
SSP Dr. Vipin Tada said that the accused has been arrested and brought to Meerut after raiding in Aligarh and Bihar. At present, he is being questioned so that it can be found out how many people are associated with him and what was the real motive behind his activities. According to sources, intelligence agencies are also engaged in a thorough investigation into the matter.
