Balaram, son of the deceased, said that his father had about 20 bighas of agricultural land, on which he had sown moong, urad and sesame crops.
Kisan was taken loan from credit card
The deceased of the crop took a loan of Rs 3 lakh from the Kisan Credit Card. But the crop was ruined due to frequent excess rainfall. Here, Dina Kushwaha was ill for a long time. A month ago, stone operation was also done in Jhansi.
Apart from this, they were also struggling with the disease related to the intestine. About Rs 5 lakh was borrowed from relatives and others for treatment, out of which two lakh rupees had been paid. But the remaining debt and increasing treatment expenses were constantly harassing them.
6 lakh debt was arrears
There was a loan of 6 lakh rupees. At the same time, the pressure of bank personnel was also increasing continuously. Due to all this, the farmers started living under mental stress and finally got up and hanged.
Family members say that the loss in farming and debt burden was the major reason for the death of their father. Now the family is feeling helpless. The people of the village have also demanded the financial help of the family of the late farmer from the government.
Police reached the spot
As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and took the body in possession and filled the panchnama and sent it for postmortem. There is an atmosphere of mourning in the village after the incident. SDM Shivdhyan Pandey said that this incident is very sad. The farmers were ill for a long time and were undergoing treatment for two years. The real causes of his death are being investigated.
