
A video of a young man filling a pipe from a burning pyre in the crematorium located in Mahmoodpur village of Hafizpur police station area in Hapur, Uttar Pradesh, went viral on social media on Saturday. Along with the young man, his three friends were also present in the crematorium. Taking cognizance of the viral video, the police is investigating the matter. However, all four youths are said to be absconding.

Munni Devi’s bier was burning
CO Anita Chauhan said that village resident Munni Devi (75) had died on Friday. After completing all the procedures, his family members and villagers reached the crematorium with his coffin, cremated him and returned home. It is alleged that four youths from the village reached the crematorium with hookah and pipe. Of these, two youths are said to be from another community and all four youths also consume dry intoxicants.

Friends made the video
In the video that surfaced, a young man started filling a pipe from a burning pyre in the crematorium. Meanwhile, his friends made his video and made it viral on social media on Saturday. Taking cognizance of the viral video, police station in-charge Praveen Kumar reached the village with the police force and investigated the matter.

All four youths ran away from home
After this, the police team informed about the four youths and reached their house. The police team did not find the four youths at their homes. Police are searching for the youth. CO Anita Chauhan said that taking cognizance of the viral video, the station in-charge has been instructed to take action in the matter. However, all four youths are said to be absconding.
