Lemon Tree Hotels Limited on Wednesday rebranded its Whitefield, Bengaluru property from “Keys Select by Lemon Tree Hotels” to “Keys Prima by Lemon Tree Hotels,” effective April 1, 2026. The company stocks were up 7.65 per cent to ₹108.10 on the NSE by midday, against a previous close of ₹100.42.
The 222-room hotel, owned by Berggruen Hotels Private Limited — a material subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels — has undergone renovation and is being repositioned to target higher-yield corporate and MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions) segments. The upgrade includes contemporary interiors, enhanced food and beverage offerings through Keys Café and Unlock Bar, and recreational facilities including a fitness center and swimming pool.
The Keys Prima brand sits above Keys Select in Lemon Tree’s portfolio, representing what the company describes as an elevated midscale offering. Whitefield, one of Bengaluru’s established IT and commercial corridors, hosts a concentration of global capability centers and technology parks, making it a strategic location for the upgrade.
Vishvapreet Singh Cheema, President of Lemon Tree Hotels, said the move reflects a broader shift in demand toward more premium, experience-led stays within the midscale segment. He added that the company currently operates six hotels across Bengaluru’s key micro-markets.
Lemon Tree Hotels operates over 130 hotels across 80-plus cities under seven brands, including Aurika Hotels & Resorts, Lemon Tree Premier, and Red Fox, with an international presence in Dubai, Bhutan, and Nepal. The company has a pipeline of over 130 upcoming properties. The stock opened at ₹102.92 and touched a day high of ₹108.54 on Wednesday.
