The dispute between police and doctors in Karnal is not stopping. While on one hand the doctors have gone on strike, on the other hand, in support of Deepak, the SHO of Gharaunda police station, a large number of villagers reached the District Secretariat demanding an impartial investigation from the District Deputy Commissioner. Earlier in the dispute between the doctor and the police, a video of the SHO misbehaving with the doctor had gone viral. Late yesterday evening, a video of the doctor also went viral, in which the doctor is seen saying. I did not intend to abuse.
Due to the doctors’ strike in Karnal, the number of patients in the trauma center is increasing. Patients are reaching different CHCs, PHCs and civil hospitals of Karnal district and are getting worried. Because they have come from far away but they are not getting treatment. They say that no doctor is talking, we have come from far away but are not getting treatment. Doctors are on strike and the problem is increasing, we are not getting treatment. It cannot be said for how long the strike will continue.
FIR should be lodged against SHO and other policemen – Doctors
According to the information, all the doctors and medical staff have sat on strike. Trauma centre, OPD, delivery room and post mortem are closed. Doctors Association says that till the time Inspector Deepak, who was posted as SHO at Gharaunda police station, has been suspended. There should be an FIR against him and the other policemen who were with him should also be registered against him. If it does not happen then our strike will continue, now it is in Karnal and in the future it will be in entire Haryana. However, the administration is continuously talking to the doctors but no solution has been found yet. Where the doctors allege that our doctor was slapped, misbehaved and forcefully taken from the hospital to the police station. There is also a video in which the doctor is apologizing to the police in the police station that he had abused me, please forgive me, at present the problems of the common man are increasing. It cannot be said when this will be resolved. Late in the evening of Holi, there was a dispute over a phone conversation with Dr. Prashant and Deepak Kumar, in-charge of Gharaunda police station.

At the same time, today a large number of people came from Gharaunda to meet the Rural District Deputy Commissioner regarding the matter. The villagers said that the Deputy Commissioner has given us assurance regarding this issue, hence Gharaunda has been suspended in a hurry. Appropriate decision will be taken in the matter. Everyone should maintain peace, SDM Gharaunda and SDM Karnail are conducting judicial inquiry in the matter. After that immediate action will be taken on this matter.
Patients are getting worried due to dispute between doctor and police
At present, in the matter of dispute between doctors and police, the patients who are there are definitely seen grinding. Because due to the doctor’s strike, patients are coming to the government hospital in Karnal for treatment, but they are not getting treatment. Due to which he seems quite upset, now it remains to be seen what comes out of this matter. Where on one side doctors are seen presenting their side. On the other hand, today Gharaunda also came to meet the District Appropriate Officer in support of the SHO.
