In Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, the compensation money received from Bundelkhand Industrial Development Authority (BIDA) became a problem for a young man. He got married with the compensation he received in exchange for the land, but just five days after the marriage the bride ran away with cash and jewellery.

After this incident, the young man and his family are in big trouble. After the matter came to light, the victim’s family has complained to the police. The police is busy investigating the entire matter and the absconding bride is being searched.

60 thousand rupees taken from a young man in the name of marriage

The matter is being reported from Parasai village of Raksa police station area of ​​Jhansi. Uttam Ahirwar, who lives here, had received a good amount of compensation for the land from Bida some time ago. As soon as this news spread in the village, some people contacted him and proposed to marry a girl from Shivpuri, Madhya Pradesh. It is alleged that about 60 thousand rupees were taken from the young man in the name of getting him married. After this, both of them got married on March 1 at Karaundi Mata Temple. After the marriage, the bride came to her in-laws’ house with full rituals and started living with the family.

Bride absconds with money and jewelery five days after marriage

According to the information, the happiness of marriage could not last long. Just five days later, seeing the opportunity, the bride ran away with the compensation money, jewelery and essential items kept in the house. When the family came to know about this, the ground slipped beneath their feet. The victim youth has lodged a complaint about the matter at Raksha police station. Police have started investigation on the complaint of the victim’s family. Police say that investigation is going on and the accused will be arrested soon.
